Crazy, strong and loving it for Wednesday June 29

Today was Day 2 of Couch to 5K. Had a great workout. I love these 30 minute cardio workouts. This is what I'm talkin' about!

Today I upped my speed to 4.7 mph and did 60 seconds on at that speed and 90 seconds at a fast walk pace on 3% incline.

HR didn't get as high as it did on Monday. I felt really good running. However, I didn't burn as many calories as I did on Monday. Weird.

CARDIO STATS:
33 minutes total
2 minutes below zone
10 minutes in zone
22 minutes above zone
269 calories burned
1.849 miles travelled

I also did the Ab work from High Reps that I didn't do yesterday. Great ab workout! I am sore from yesterday but no like I thought I'd be. My quads are sore the most.

Good morning Debbie and all how follows,

Nice job on your run today. Glad you enjoyed HR abs and your run today! I wished I would find something that tells me (when I ran outside) 60 seconds on and 90 seconds off:eek: It's hard guessing everything and I don't look at my HR either, it messes me up when I run:confused: I just keep running:)

I also went for a run this morning. At first I took the dogs for a 1.5 mile walk, they were beat at this point, the heat is getting to them:confused: I took the dogs back to the RV, got dressed and ran outside for 3.5 miles or more?? I also did the Extendet Stretch from STS, felt great afterwards. That's it for me today.

I will be back later!

Good Morning,

Tonite for me is KCM KBXing. It will be to hot heat index of 105 to take the dog for a walk I also want to work abs and do a stretch.

Belinda-good job with your workout how is the house stuff going?

Debbie-GOOD JOB WITH THE ABS! Glad you are enjoying your workouts. The reason I don't think I want to build is because I am only 5ft. tall I think I would look silly.

Belinda - Buy a stop watch. Would it be hard to run with one of those in your hand?

Roxie - You are funny! The way I look at fitness: Just do what makes you happy and what you enjoy to do. As long as you're moving, you can't go wrong. :)

Debbie - what a great idea:) No, it wouldn't border me at all, running with it in my hands. I will run to wal mart and see if they got one! THANKS!

Hi girls!;)

Happy over-the-hump day! I just finished my workout and it was really fun. I do love anything to do with kickboxing, boxing, dance, or Turbo Fire type workouts they are just so fun and addiciting, love it!:D

I had a blast with today's workouts. Its amazing to say that I know in highschool I hated PE with a passion. The only thing I liked was running, dance, or lifting light weights. Other than that forget about it, I hated the drudgery of exercise and just could not get motivated to do it at all. The only exception is the year I went out for track. I've always had a love of sports just never a shining star at them, but more of a educated spectator sort of thing. ;)

Debbie- Awesome job on your run today with day 2 of couch to 5K and abs. I almost want to snicker because I can't imagine you in the same sentence as the word couch potato totally doesn't compute. You are the complete opposite of a couch potato in my mind. I know your fit and very dedicated to staying fit and strong which is just awesome. Your a legend around here girlfriend! Way to rock your workout today ^^^5's.:)

Belinda- Nice 3.5 Mile run today and good call on doing the STS Extended stretch afterward that is a nice one. I'm sure your dogs appreciated the walk so they could get there workout in too!;) WTG Girlfriend on your workout, ya got 'er done!

Roxie- Wow, Its hot where you and belinda are Yikes!! Keep cool and be safe in those temps and that includes doggies too! Have a blast with KCM's Kickboxing tonight and keep cool!;)

Chris- I hope you had a great workout today. My oldest son hasn't mentioned his rude comment the other day again. But that doesn't surprise me. He has no filter or consideration to what he says he just blurts and doesn't see why it upsets others. Austin is at that annoying teenage stage where you just hope you make it through their teen years with out losing it. LOL!!!

Hugs to everyone and extra hugs to our MIA's we're thinking of you:);)

Hey Girls!

Today was day 2 of Peak Fit. I did Pure Strength. It's a FAST combination of weights and TIGHT band work for the entire body. It seemed to go so fast, and my muscles felt worked, but at the end, I'm wondering, "Was that a good workout?".

Debbie: I agree w/ Nora. "Couch potato" and you in the same sentence is ironic! great job on the run though AND the abs!!

Belinda: Nice job on the run in the HEAT !!

Nora: Holy double workout!! you pushed it today!! I know, my son is either in a good goofy mood or in a crap mood. I'm not sure which is worse! LOL!.

Roxie: Im' guessing you have A/C? That's crazy hot!! Have a good workout!

Good Evening,

Tonite I did KCMs KBXing.

Stats:
30 min
18 in the zone
139 min hr
171 max hr
201 cals burned.

Chris-I have ac but its working hard.

Hi Chris,

I noticed after reading your post about PeakFit Challenge and went to their website and saw they have dropped the price. I was wondering what you think of PeakFit Challenge now that you own it and are doing the workouts? How do they compare to Cathe, (our gold standard of superb fitness dvd workouts), TF etc...Just curious but haven't read any reviews on the workouts or impressions. I'd love to learn about your thoughts and experiences with this system. I'm eyeballing Aero box right now. I own some of the older Aerobox workouts and love them but this is the first time they have created a system of workouts that are completely new from what I have. I'm intrigued by that one since I love boxing, Kickboxing, TF type of workouts I love a good sweaty challenge. LOL!! Please let me know.

Hugs!

Nora
