Hi ladies. I'm on the fence about what I may or may not do today. Thought about just doing the cardio premix from LIC. That one is always fun, and it's not over the top in intensity. Today is going to be a long 9-hour one for me. Lunch meeting followed by another meeting. Not sure when I'll get my afternoon snack in :mad:. I don't do well being thrown off schedule! Maybe I'll need a kickboxing workout after work LOL!!!

Chris - let me know what you think of KFM when you get it in. I think Roxie has those...

Roxie - I bet you jumped up and hugged the doc when he gave you the OK to eat grapefruit! I guess you can eat your grapefruit in the morning and take your med at night?

Last nights workout was 4DS Kickbox minus the abs. Tonight will be 4DS HIS + the kickbox abs. My lower body is sore. Last night I had to put some muscle cream on my calves.

Two more days of work this week - can't wait until they are over! Take care everyone and great job with the workouts!

Tonite is 4ds lower body and I will need you guys to push me to do this one I hate lower body. I found out why she gave me the diet pills her nurse is an idiot he said the scale said 155lbs when I remember seeing 136lbs so yesterday when I went I weighed 132lbs the dr. asked me how I lost so much.

Heather-I take my med every nite so I am going out today to buy some grapefruit to go with my disgusting oatmeal. Have fun with your workout I understand about the schedule I am on the road today for oxygen patients so I have to take stuff that doesn't require refrig.
 
So today was Meso 2, Week 2, Disc 18, Back and Biceps. Had an incredible workout. My arms are still hard to lift up. I worked my biceps hard. Back too.

Warmup:
Lat pulldowns with band - 12 reps/green band
T-Pull with band - 12 reps/green band
Y's with band - 12 reps/green band

Workout:
Close Grip Chins - 12 unassisted
Wide Grip Chinups - 6 unassisted
Wide Grip Chinups - 6 unassisted
***These felt good, especially the wide grip ones. I felt I did well with these.

Barbell Rows - 60#/12 reps
Barbell Rows - 62#/10 reps
Barbell Rows - 62#/8 reps
Barbell Rows - 55#/15 reps
***Last set was a back-off set. Love these!

One Arm Horizontal Row - 30#/12 reps
One Arm Horizontal Row - 30#/10 reps
One Arm Horizontal Row - 30#/8 reps
One Arm Horizontal Row - 25#/14 reps
***I think I could have gone heavier here. Should have went with either 32# or 35#.

One Legged Deadlifts - 25#/12 reps each leg
One Legged Deadlifts - 25#/10 reps each leg
One Legged Deadlifts - 25#/8 reps each leg
***I'm glad there were no back-off sets with this. My low back really felt these. In a good way.

BICEPS
Barbell Curl - 50#/12 reps
Barbell Curl - 50#/10 reps
Barbell Curl - 50#/8 reps
Barbell Curl - 35#/18 reps + Bonus of one up counting 8 and lowering 8.
***Wow, that last set about killed me. I dropped my weight for the curls from 55# to 50# this week. I really struggled last week with 55# and instead of doing bad form, I went lighter. Good weight.

Seated Alternating Curl - 25's/12 reps
Seated Alternating Curl - 25's/10 reps
Seated Alternating Curl - 25's/8 reps
Seated Alternating Curl - 15's/12 reps + bonus which was double arm alternating curls for 8 more reps
***The last back-off set was a killer. and 25's were almost too heavy for me.

Seated Concentration Curls - 20#/12 reps
Seated Concentration Curls - 20#/10 reps
Seated Concentration Curls - 20#/8 reps
Seated Concentration Curls - 12#/17 reps
***These were hard as well. Had to help my arm go up with the first set.

Loved this workout!

So far today I warmed up on the bike (we got a recumbent from craigslist) then I did Biceps from SS and CTX. Really fried my bi's. I'm hoping to get more cardio in later.

Checking back. I realized that tomorrow we have plans after work and I was supposed to do PS legs. So, did those today. Tomorrow I need to try to get up early and do a light cardio. Hopefully I can manage to do the cardio from LIC. If not, it'll be a rest day and I'll have to get it done Friday.

Well I got the dreaded leg workout done and burned some good cals.

Stats:

33 in the zone

173 max hr
265 cals burned.
 
Okay, went back upstairs and did 4DS HIS cardio only. The dvd stopped about 2/3 through, so I started it again. So total time was 45 min. Glad I got a little cardio in - we made little pizzas this afternoon (using whole wheat english muffins) and I ate 2 AFTER I ate my salmon sandwich! I feel a little better!

KCM- 30 Min to Fitness Cardio Blast Workout #1= 35 min w/1lb weighted gloves.
Calories burned= 334
This is one of Kelly's brand new workouts, so I was excited to try it out. Its very fun and will make you a sweaty mess, its good stuff.;)

KCM 30 Min to Fitness Muscle Definition = Abs Only
Time= 11 Min
Calories burned= 68
Again, I was itching to try out any portion of Kelly's three newest 30 min to fitness DVDS.

Tomorrow is a rest day for me, which I need since today I'm suffering from the severe flu-like side effects of Avonex, my MS medication. This happens if I'm a little dehydrated usually not enough that I really notice so I just have to remember to drink tons of liquid until my back teeth float. :p LOL!!

no check in for me tomorrow since it will be a rest day for me. I know you all will soldier on with your fab workouts tomorrow so have fun! ;)
