Crazy Strong and Loving It for September 16, 2009

Hi girls,

I am done with my workout;) I did CCV5 on the TC in the gym! I burned 778.8 cal. I LOVE IT:p

I will be back, I am going to meet some friends for lunch!

Last night I did Step Fit. That one is so old and I can't help but laugh when I see their exercise clothing. :) Great workout though - I was super sweaty by the end. I also made myself do it on the 8" step vs. the regular 6". It definitely made a difference! I am really enjoying working out at night - I don't feel rushed and super tired like a zombie. :)

Off to work - Have a great day everyone!

Today was Meso 2, Week 1, Disc 15, Back and Biceps. Had a pretty good workout, this one was fun. Spaz had to be taken to the vets to get neutered and DH took him about a half hour into my workout. I was sad a bit after he left. I wasn't aloud to feed him after 8 last night and the poor little guy was starving this morning. :( I hope he'll be alright. I get to pick him up after work.

Anyways, this is how the workout went:

Lat pulldowns with band - 12 reps/green band

I managed to get up and do Cardio Fusion this morning. It's still dark and rainy here. I managed to finish the last of the painting in the spare room and get the old carpet pulled out. Now to pull up tack strips and staples. Hopefully I can get that done after work today and tomorrow get off early so I can focus on DH's surprise party.

Belinda - good job with the workout. Hope you're taking it easy though.

Karen - I am in zombie mode again today. so not used to getting up and working out first thing. I am NOT a morning person at all.

Happy Hump Day
Heather

Debbie - holy cow with the preacher curls. By the time I get to those I can barely do 15 lb!!! I think the heaviest I got was 17 lb. You rock!

Hi girls!

Belinda, I'm so glad you found the TC to exercise on! Good for you - it sounds like you've got your spunk back being able to sweat it out again!
Aww...poor kitty, Debbie. But hopefully he won't live up to his name anymore..????
Great workouts girls. I've been working out, but also super busy. Let's see...I've done a Kimberly Spreen KB I got from Netflix. I like her - so sweet. I'm going to do her w/o again before sending her back. I also did 4DS BC but I skipped around with the bi/tris/drills and made it into a circuit. Fun!
All righty, gotta go! Have a great day everyone!

Hi girls,

I lost 1.4 pounds!

Debbie, I am sorry I haven’t answered you! The doctor (she is a German doctor) 2 week’s ago, told me not to exercise at all. On Friday I got my MRI results, she told me to exercise, but low impact. No running, no weight lifting, no jumping, anything that has to do with high impact. She said no long walks (I know!), but it makes me feel better. I do feel so much better when I work out. She said I could do the elliptical, but go easy. I don’t think the TC is high impact; all I do is walk on that thing! Also the doctor is at least 80 pounds over weight, she didn’t believe in exercise. LOL! I talked to my physical therapist (also German); she said yesterday while she was massaging me, she is surprised that the doctor told me not to lift weights (she said also no heavy weights, not lift more than 2 pounds! WTG! I have to different people telling me two different opinions. We do have a physical/sports therapist (American) on post, I will try this week to get an appointment and see what they think? Right now, I am confused. German’s are always more on the safer/lazier side! My back hurts more when I sit down, if I keep moving it doesn’t hurt that bad. I know it’s weird! I really don’t want to sit on the couch for the next few weeks. I am trying to lose weight not gain it all back. My biggest fear is to gain all that weight back! Oh, did I clean up my eating! I also had quite a few cortisone shots in my spine, I think that really helped. I still taking the meds!
BTW, my weight ticker was stuck at 4.2 pounds (since I stopped STS), I weight in today, and it’s finally moving again. Glad you enjoyed D15 today, that’s how far I got! Your weights are impressive, girl!

Karen, nice job with SF yesterday.

Heather, I am taking it easy. I don’t know how that machine works, but it’s a good cal. burner for sure! WTG, on CF this morning.

Wendy, WTG on your KB plus BC workout.

I will be back for more personals (yesterday's)!

Ok I know I haven't posted for awhile but I have something exciting to share with you all DH talked to his dr. today about something to help him stop smoking I am going to the pharmacy after work to pick it up.

Belinda - I'm glad you are able to do some kind of cardio. Just be careful. Those shots only cover up the problem, it you do something more damaging to it, it could cause more problems. I'm glad you are almost pain-free, though! Also, I love your signature line. I keep meaning to tell you that! Amen sista!

Roxie - Where've you been? I asked about you the other day, I thought maybe you were on vacation or something. Glad to hear your dh is taking the steps to quit smoking. Wish mine would.

I am still working out doing 4ds wts and different kinds of cardio I am suppose to take after pictures this week from doing Si6 but since I haven't being doing those workouts haven't decided if I am still going to. Just feel you guys workout way harder than me don't deserve to be here but since DH is doing this for me I am going to step up my workouts and eating better for him. I have been wanting this for 31 years it has just gotten so expensive for him and his oldest DD told him she was going off the BC pill next Aug an plans on starting her family the following year so I guess that was all the inspiration and motivation he needed. I can't believe he did it but I made him promise me he would.

Hi ladies~:)

I hope everyone has had a great workout today!

Belinda- I hope your taking it easy, even if its annoying, LOL!! I want your back to be better!;)

Here's my workout today:

Strikezone (Tracey Staehle)
Time= 59 min Calories
This was a seriously fun and kickbutt workout. I really enjoyed this one a lot. This is like the 3rd time I've done this one. Its definitely some good stuff! I hope there will be a Strikezone 2 with the same people. If anyone knows about that please let me know.

KCM: 30 Min To Fitness Kickboxing-Core/Abs Only=14 min
Calories burned= 86
I love this killer abs section, its great to follow with a kickboxing workout. So I paired it with Strikezone just to mix things up.

Well, that's it for me today. I trust everyone will have a great evening;)

Hugs!:)

Nora
