Hi girls,
I lost 1.4 pounds!
Debbie, I am sorry I haven’t answered you! The doctor (she is a German doctor) 2 week’s ago, told me not to exercise at all. On Friday I got my MRI results, she told me to exercise, but low impact. No running, no weight lifting, no jumping, anything that has to do with high impact. She said no long walks (I know!), but it makes me feel better. I do feel so much better when I work out. She said I could do the elliptical, but go easy. I don’t think the TC is high impact; all I do is walk on that thing! Also the doctor is at least 80 pounds over weight, she didn’t believe in exercise. LOL! I talked to my physical therapist (also German); she said yesterday while she was massaging me, she is surprised that the doctor told me not to lift weights (she said also no heavy weights, not lift more than 2 pounds! WTG! I have to different people telling me two different opinions. We do have a physical/sports therapist (American) on post, I will try this week to get an appointment and see what they think? Right now, I am confused. German’s are always more on the safer/lazier side! My back hurts more when I sit down, if I keep moving it doesn’t hurt that bad. I know it’s weird! I really don’t want to sit on the couch for the next few weeks. I am trying to lose weight not gain it all back. My biggest fear is to gain all that weight back! Oh, did I clean up my eating! I also had quite a few cortisone shots in my spine, I think that really helped. I still taking the meds!
BTW, my weight ticker was stuck at 4.2 pounds (since I stopped STS), I weight in today, and it’s finally moving again. Glad you enjoyed D15 today, that’s how far I got! Your weights are impressive, girl!
Karen, nice job with SF yesterday.
Heather, I am taking it easy. I don’t know how that machine works, but it’s a good cal. burner for sure! WTG, on CF this morning.
Wendy, WTG on your KB plus BC workout.
I will be back for more personals (yesterday's)!
