Usually Sunday's are my rest days but I have to get up early tomorrow to take my mom to the doctors and won't have time to workout. So tomorrow will be my rest day instead.

Today was STS Meso 2, Week 1, Disc 14, Legs. This is a Tri-Set workout. I actually really liked it. I hate working legs but for some reason I really enjoyed this workout. I am going to be sore tomorrow. And I can't believe how sore my upper body is from my workout on Friday.

Tri-Set #1
Squats - 30's/10 reps
One Leg Elevated Lunges - 20#/10 reps
Deadlifts Wide Stance - 25's/10 reps
***Did this 3 times. 1 minutes rest between each tri-set.

Tri-Set #2
Static Lunge - 15's/10 reps
Plie Squats Alternating Hand - 30#/10 reps
One Leg Slide Back Lunges with Paper Plate - 12's/10 reps
***Did this 3 times. 1 minutes rest between each tri-set.

Tri-Set #3
Stiff Legged Deadlift on Platform - 25's/10 reps (This was suppose to be barbell, but I used dumbbells instead)
Side Slide Lunges with Paper Plate - 15#/10 reps
Squats Narrow Stance - 30's/10 reps
***Did this 3 times. 1 minutes rest between each tri-set.

Calf Raises - Started out with 30#, dropped to 20#. One leg at a time, 20 reps each leg each set. There were 3 sets. She varied the rep counts.

My legs are still jello! Love it!
 
Hi girls,

We had a busy day today, I never made it on time to the gym (they closed when we got here) I was pissed! It’s was so cold outside, I didn’t feel like waking in the cold. So today is gonna be a rest day. I will go to the gym tomorrow, I have a few option on low impact cardio I can do. I can do the bike, walk, elliptical or I can use the TreadClimber. They all low impact. I was wondering (my mind is going,lol) if I can use the tubing/band instead of weights? Actually I wouldn’t be lifting, right? So I am not going against the doctor’s orders, right! I am just trying to find ways, I still can stay active.

Nice leg workout, Debbie! How was your bike ride yesterday?

Hi ladies. Today I did Imax 3 and back and shoulders (GS). I had a hard time with rows as my lower back started to hurt terribly. My form must have been off. I kept trying to adjust so I don't know. I wish I had a mirror to watch myself in.

Debbie - good job with your workout. Is tomorrow the day your mom has surgery (if I'm remembering correctly)?

Belinda - I had to chuckle at your post: going to the gym and not knowing what you'll do. I just pictured you just going there and walking around the place LOL. So what'd you end up doing? Have you tried the eliptical?

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. It's rainy and cool (67) here. Kind of makes you not want to do anything but whole up and sleep!

Hey Everyone!

Today i'm usually off from workouts , but I had last night off from work (had the boys' birthday party) . I didn't plan to have healthy foods there, because it was revolved around the kids (my sons' friends wouldn't appreciate carrot sticks and hummus :p). So anyways, I grazed all day long on "crappy foods" and of course, Corona LIghts ;) . Not the best for eating. But we all had the BEST time! The rain held off and the boys jousted their little hearts out! (I did it with my sister, who cheated, and beat me!).

Anyhow, today I needed to blast a bunch of "bad" calories, so I did Step Blast! Hadn't done that in forever, I was drenched at the end!!!

Belinda: SOrry the gym closed on ya! The weekends they must close early, huh? tomorrow! not sure about band work. Band work can be pretty tough, even tougher than weights. I just think of the burn that I get with cathe's shoulder bandwork.

Debbie: great leg work today! Those trisets are killers , esp by the 3rd one! You did great!

Heather: WOW! You did A TON today! IM3 AND GS??? I know exactly what you mean on the one armed rows and your low back. I get cramped up sometimes when I do them. And it's usually when I'm tired (like when I do back work on Mondays after little sleep on a working weekend). Ihate when that happens, though!

Ok, time for my nap, gotta go to work tonight, and yesterday poooped me out!
