Hi and good morning,

I am getting the MRI results tomorrow:D hopefully it just confirms that all looks OK.I am going nuts:rolleyes:


I feel the pounds creeping up on my a$$:(

Today I will take my ipod, put on CCV1 and go for a nice longer walk. I will take it easy. I can't sit on my butt anymore, I think I need a good workout. Just kidding!

Hi girls,

I just got done with my walk; I decided to listen to CCV1! I burned a total of 124 cal, yeah. Felt good to get out and walk. I can’t wait until I get a really good workout run in again. I am bored out of my mind.

I have a confession to make, I have been a little depressed for a few days now. Go figure! I really miss my workouts! Our new Generals wife brought me a box of chocolate to brighten up my day. Well, it did! I just couldn’t eat a few pieces; I hate the entire box of chocolate. Yes, it felt good eating it at the moment and it was soooooo good. I feel like crap now! I was afraid to step on the scale, but had to find out the damage I did. I am only up 1 pound, which I am very happy. Today’s plan is, to be accountable for everything I put in my mouth. Back to eating healthy! Although I didn’t burn a lot of calories with my slow walk today, I feel much better.

Chris, if I get the green light to workout again tomorrow. Maybe I will start STS with you on Monday, I have to make it through once. LOL, on B&G kicking your butt!

Wendy, yeah on getting a few day’s off! I will keep you guys posted about the MRI tomorrow. Like your mix of workouts yesterday, wished I had a TM. Nice job with KPC and abs yesterday. LOL, I was so bored yesterday, I changed my avatar twice yesterday. I will post it later. My DH is Field Artillery! I thought it was tp much! I just wanted the Field Atillery logo!

Nora, how are you feeling today? (((HUGS)))) I can’t believe you still got your workout in, WTG! does your son like HS? I have to check out Cathe’s Sep.09 rotation, have fun.

Heather, nice choice on HC, hopefully I get to that one soon. Nice going on LIC and S&H yesterday.

Karen, hope things will slow down for you. WTG, on keeping up with your workouts. Check in when you can, don’t worry not having time for personals. We do understand!

Debbie, Thanks! I know you having a lot of problems with your back in the past, what do you do to make it better? What exercises make your back worst? I have hope that I will lift heavy soon, I mean you lift heavy and have back problems. I am not even sure what caused it! Sorry your job is sucks! Hope you find something different soon. WTG, on your power yoga yesterday.

You guys make me jealous with all your workouts, nice job girls!

Last night I did KPC before heading back upstairs and getting the house cleaned up before my mom comes to visit tonight. (she will be staying all weekend) Then, just so that I wouldn't fall behind on my schedule - I dragged my butt out of bed this morning and did S&H Legs. One thing I noticed with working out at night, I don't seem as tired or hungry throughout the day. I'll see what happens today with getting up early...

Belinda - Don't feel so bad! You will get the ok to workout soon and then you can kick those chocolates to the curb!

Hi ladies. DH and I were supposed to get up and run this morning before rain moved in. Well, I got up and someone else didn't. SO, I did the combo 1,2 and challenge from SB. It was about 42 mins. My legs felt sooo incredibly heavy though from S&H legs last night. They feel like they weigh about 100 lbs each. Not really sore, just heavy heavy heavy. I imagine a run would have felt slow and labored anyway, so it's probably best I didn't tackle that after all. It's supposed to rain from now until eternity here though so I'm not sure when I'll get another chance to get in a run. Really hoping the weather folks are wrong again - they typically are!! LOL

Belinda - good job getting in a walk. Just moving around a little bit makes a difference. Just don't get crazy and overdo it!!

Karen - way to go getting motivated this morning. It's SOOO hard to do!

Chris - just remember not to stress too much if you don't get in a cardio Saturday. Just enjoy that special day!

Good Morning,

Well because of my hair appointment I didn't get a chance to workout last nite the lady that cuts my hair is 1/2 hour away and then she was running late and by the time I went and got something to eat it was 7:30 and DH came home last nite and youngest DD was over so tonite I will do 4ds lower body and Imax 3 step just haven't decided which one to do first. DH leaves again this afternoon and won't be home until Sat. so I will have plenty of time.

Belinda-good job on the walk don't just love it when people think they are being helpful and nice by bringing you sweets? Hope everything is good on the MRI.

Karen-good job getting up and getting your workout in.

Heather-sorry you didn't get your run in maybe you need a treadmill. S&H always kills me.

Oddly enough, whenever I was awake last night, I thought about what workout I was going to do today! Coo coo for cocoa puffs! :eek::eek:

I had originally thought I'd do Lalo Fit, but it IS sunny out and my plan for the Fall was always to get as much running in as I could. AND , after reading YOUR post, Heather, it confirms my decision to go for a run today! I'd also like to do some kind of upper body weight work. I'm hoping it's ok to do , since I'll do Physique 57 tomorrow. !??!!? Maybe I'll ask on OD...

Belinda: Good for you for walking! It at least makes you feel good to get outside! .. Oh, I'm ALL about stress eating and chocolates. There's no way a box of chocolates stays around here either!! 1 lb is not too bad, keep up the walking , and just work on your eating. You must be going crazy waiting for tomorrow!!! That would be VERY cool to do STS together. But no pressure, just see what happens..

Karen: Good job getting in those workouts!!!

Heather: SB is always a good cardio. I haven't done it in forever, I should start. And yeah, I'm almost positive I won't work out on Saturday. Only if I get up at 6am, and sneak something in. We'll see how motivated I am! :eek:
 
Roxie - DH and I have discussed getting a treadmill. We really do need one and could cut out a gym membership that way as well. We know it'd pay off. It's just finding the space and the money!! Oh that thing called a budget... Imax 3 always makes my legs super tired so maybe you should do your leg workout first then your cardio. Just a suggestion. Sometimes it's nice to do light cardio prior to legs though to get them really loosened up and warm.

Chris - I wake up and contemplate my exercise options in the middle of the night frequently. So you're not the only crazy one here! Enjoy your run today!

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #7. Had a pretty good workout but my endurance sucked today. Tomorrow starts Meso 2 so I'm looking forward to that.

Belinda - My low back problem happened a long time ago when I did a real heavy deadlift. I think it was around 190# if I remember correctly. Pulled something horrible in my low back. Couldn't sit, stand or lay down. It was total brutality. Doctors couldn't find anything wrong. The pain subsided to a tolerable stage but every time I tried to work out again it would pull right back out. After years of this and having to stop my workouts for a period of time, my dh had a lift at our house to do some work on the high parts of it. I grabbed onto a bar and hung on it and felt a POP in my hip. Here my hip was dislocated all that time and me hanging on it pulled my body back into alignment. I have been pain free except for the occasional tightness ever since. This is why I like to do pullups. It helps me realign my body and seems to keep my low back healthy. It's weird that the doctors didn't see that my hip was dislocated. I had xrays and cat scans taken.

Chris, lol on planning your workouts ahead, I do that too. Eating is good today, writing everything down. I can’t wait until tomorrow.

Debbie, that is weird! My hip is still hurting, can’t turn or lift anything high. In M1 and M2, we did a lot of pull ups; I did hang on my BB. I am doing the sissy ones! LOL! Be careful with your weight lifting. I did a search on the forum, I was surprised a lot of people hurting with deadlifts. Once things for sure, I will have to lower my weights big times. It’s not worth it! Holy shit,your did 190# deadlift? I think I would have broken my back right in the middle, LOL! You are one strong girl! BTW, nice job on CC8 today. I miss my runs!

BTW, I posted some pic. on my profile. Couldn’t figure out how to post them here! I thought I was posting them in on of my check ins, instead I also posted pic. in my social group. I am a total air head! Now, I can’t figure out how to delete them, any ideas?:(

Yep - I have some DOMS in my abs today! I was sure expecting some and they didn't disappoint!
I am actually sore in the hips and thighs, too. You know, I was doing plyo, running, kickboxing for a couple of months instead of weights for legs...and I loved it. Then for the last couple of weeks I've been incorporating weights again. But when I did PlyoX the other day - holy cow I was sore. Now kickboxing...again sore. I am just really loving no weights for my lower body!
Belinda, thanks for posting a bigger picture of the artillery symbol. I just couldn't figure out what it was when it was small! Nice walk today. Keep at it and keep it EASY!
Good job on your the workouts today, ladies. I am planning on doing GS Chest & tris.

Okey dokey -

I did GS Chest & tri's - and surprisingly, my husband did it with me! Nice. But I was still antsy for some cardio. (I didn't do much when my stomach was hurting the last couple of weeks). So, with the power of suggestion (Heather) I did Step Blast. I wasn't necessarily planning on doing it all, but with Cathe's motivation, I did. I only wore my HRM for the cardio - I don't want to give my stomach any reasons to hurt right now. 55 min/ 425 calories. I did it on 8". So with the weight work...maybe 550 - 600 calories..??? I will probably be dragging tonight. At least I'm not coaching soccer practice tonight!
