I just finsehed Push and Pull! I only burned 155 cal. thanks goodness I am burning a lot of cal. on the TreadClimber.

Good Morning,

Not sure what I am going to do tonite but I know it will involve wts. Nice thing about stomach issues you can't eat much so your wt goes down 121lbs today.
 
Got up earlier than expected for a Friday off work. Got my workout done and over with though. I went a lot heavier than Cathe and that always makes me feel good teehee! My HR monitor was my friend this morning with Imax 3. I did 42 mins and it said I burned 419 cals. Probably not exactly accurate, but a girl can pretend :p.

Hope everyone has a great Friday. I'm about to head out of town to spend part of the day with my sis. Very excited.

Today was Meso 3, Week 2, Disc 28, Chest & Back. I had an excellent workout. With the first push/pull sets I took lesser rest periods then cathe because I felt it was too much. But as the workout progressed I took the rest Cathe took. I felt VERY strong today and I have no doubt that I will bench 100# next week! :eek:

Warmup:
Flat Bench Barbell Press - 65#/12 reps
Flat Bench Barbell Press - 70#/12 reps


Flat Bench Barbell Press - 95#/7 reps
Barbell Rows - 80#/8 reps
***Same with Sets 1 & 2. Went to 81# for Rows with sets 3 & 4 with 7 reps. Less rest here then what Cathe did.

Flat Bench Chest Flyes - 37's/7 reps
One Arm Row - 42#/7 reps
***Same for all 4 sets.

Incline Barbell Bench Press - 90#/7 reps
Barbell Deadlifts - 77#/7 reps
***Same for all 4 sets. Really started getting sweaty at this point.

Incline Chest Flyes - 37's/7 reps
One Arm Horizontal Row - 37#/7 reps
***Could go heavier with the flyes but my shoulder was starting to feel it, plus it was hard to get this weight in starting position because I was so fatigued.

I was scared to push 95# due to my right shoulder but I did it slow and in control and didn't feel a bit of pain. I'm happy about this. Did the same with the flyes and hardly had any clicking.

Hi to everyone! I will not be on anymore today. DH and I are going out to lunch and do some shopping. So you all have kick ass workouts and have a great day!

Chris, can you sent some of that nice weather my way? It’s raining nonstop here. Nice job on your DOMS. LOL, I have a hard time reading your small posts. LOL! How was your run yesterday?

Wendy, my PT is helping me a lot. I didn’t realized how much pressure I have been putting on my back with all that bending over stuff. Nice job with disc 6 yesterday. How do you like STS? Where can I buy a foam roller? Maybe it will help my back as well? Need to ask my PT.

Nora, as always awesome job with your workouts, girl! Don’t give me wrong, I do love working out with the tubing/bands. Can’t wait for Cathe’s Travel fit DVD, looks really good.

Hey Girls...

Sorry about the size of my letters in my posts. Is this ok? I was screwing around with the size, and it looked good on my end! LOL!

Today I did the last workout of MESO #1 for me: DISC 11 , Back and Triceps! It felt good! I don't know HOW I got 70# for 70% of my 1RM on backrows, because I did 60 and struggled BIG time with the last 7. I got a disturbing phone call this morning from my work supervisor about a meeting on Monday , I MUST attend, and it has to do with changes to my job. So I've been stressing BIG BIG time today. I'm a basket case. Finally chilled out after having a beer while I made supper. Ah!

Belinda: Ahhh.. seems like you sent YOUR weather OUR way ... we're supposed to get pouring rain tonight and all day tomorrow! :p Hey, at least you got some good weight work in. , right? Yep, you sure do burn those big calories at the gym!!!

Roxie: Hope you get some time to chill out too. Do you like beer? Too bad we couldn't meet for a drinkl and "destress" together!

Wendy: How are your legs feeling after DISC 6? Do you do all the bonus work at the end too?

Nora; Your workouts have been amazing! You keep em up! Love reading about them, they always motivate me! That iFit with Jillian sounds good! and of course STS! .. Nope, my legs are feeling good with no DOMS. Maybe the Advils at night before bed really did help! I will try again next time.

Debbie: OMG on the 100 # presses! YOU GO!!! Hope you have a great weekend and a nice time out with the hubby today too!

Heather: You go on heavier than Cathe AND the calorie burn (I say take it!). Sounds like you're having a nice time out too!

Did Ellen Barretts Zen Sculpt tonite it was a good workout. Youngest DD called in the middle and slowed down my hr.

173 max hr
296 cals burned.

Chris-your font is better but it could be alittle better. I think a beer would upset my stomach but I plan on having some tomarrow night.

Sorry to be short on the personals today. Its late and I still have to eat and then bake a cake and boil water to wash the dishes, ugh! Then laundry, it just never ends.:p

here's my workout for today:

4DS Kickbox in its entirety= 71 Min
Calories burned= 597

I have to admit that my lower back is hurting so I opted not to do any extra cardio today for a better calorie burn, and called it a day. Hopefully, I can add an extra cardio to tomorrow's workout. I'll see how my back feels, Chris I'm doing the advil thing tonight for my back it should help....
