Debbie - nice burn yesterday, girl! For some reason, I thought you bought the new workouts too?? I haven't done any of the yoga workouts, will try some today.

Roxie - hope you feel better.

Chris - what's what I heard about the LISC, it's tricky! I guess, I am gonna be rewinding a lot on this one, lol! Good job!

Nora - you picked an oldie but goody yesterday. My sinus surgery was scheduled for tomorrow (Oct 28), had to cancel because Halloween is my DD's bday. I don't want to be in pain on her day. My sinus are not to bad right now, jsut a little stuffed up. Thanks for asking. How are you doing, girl?

Today was Yoga again and I did Karen Voight's Yoga Strength. Had a great one but there are still many poses I have trouble with. I use to be able to do them all with no problems. Tells me everything I need to know. And I'm almost 100% positive this is my problem with most of my muscles getting knotted all the time.

I really need to do yoga at least three times a week. I think I can do it in the evenings. Now that it's getting old out I have no reason not to do a half hour yoga workout in the evenings. I just need to make myself do it.

I'm going to order Cathe's new ones and hopefully they will be good. I hope they are good.

DD and I were going to walk this morning but she has cramps really bad so we are probably going to go tonite which is fine with me it will be warmer. My head is still hurting just not as bad as yesterday. I will do some ab work tonite and maybe another workout.

Debbie-sounds like stretching is really what you need, but it to is not my favorite thing to do.

Belinda-can't wait to hear what workout you did today.
 
Hello Girls!

Today I did another of Cathe's from the low impact series: Athletic Training! it's described as a circuit workout. It's not a "traditional" circuit workout like I was thinking. Not cardio alternating with weight work. It starts out with cardio, which is lower body cardio, on the step. Great burn in my legs just from those! Leg repeaters (a MILLION of them) , low lunges and lunges into knee ups on the step. But really , the entire workout is cardio/weight work: weight work WITH a huge cardio factor. I REALLY REALLY liked it! She did some great new exercises with the firewalker band, tubing and sliding plates. And of course, she is so infectious and motivating through the whole workout! Love Cathe!

Belinda: I know, it's raining here too, today. I have to take Buddy (our dog) and one of our cats to the vet. together. in the rain. shoot me now. :confused: .. As long as your sinuses aren't causing you pain and you can get through, I don't blame you for postponing. :)

Roxie: A 2 day headache. Nothing worse. Hope you get in a walk and some abs today!!

Debbie: Good for you for listening to your body and trying to put more Yoga into your workouts. I need to do the same!! I hate the THOUGHT of not making my heart rate skyrocket with a workout, but I do love to stretch and yoga too.

Nora: Sounds like you have a good plan for today! Can't wait to hear what you think of the new workouts!

Workouts are done:p I did After Burn and Yoga Max:p

I agree with you Chris, most off those new workouts are circuit, to me anyway:eek: It was a lot of fun. That's the second workout I done, and more push ups:eek::eek: I thought my arms gonna fall off! I do like the new discs, lost of fun. My HR spiked on that one!

Yoga Max, on the other hand hand, was tough:confused: after all those push ups and mountain climpers, I thought I was gonna die! Lots of downward facing dogs in that one. I really liked it! Not something I would do again after AFTER BURN ;) Can't wait to try out Yoga relax!

Ok, OMG! I just finished doing LIS AfterBurn-Random Burn Premix that was killer! I think I'm in love with AfterBurn, that is one power packed workout. I remember reading last night on cathe's website shop the description and being a little disappointed there was no ab work listed. Now having done it I have to laugh at myself what was I thinking, hello discs. Not only do the discs work the legs using all kinds of muscle groups there it can also be used for abs such as burpees, spiderman pushups. So those great gliding discs can also be a new instrument of torture to add along with the now feared green band, firewalker band, and even innocent looking dixie cups. Yep! Cathe has done it again. If any of you are sitting on the fence about Cathe's new series, don't its awesome and the cathe LIS goodness is great come join us. Oh, and the Low impact high intensity is now joke, I sweated buckets and loved every minute of it. Awesome job Cathe!!!!:):cool:

I'm sure my abs will be feeling today for a couple of days yep, the after burn will still be sizzlin'.

Total calories burned= 805
