I am sorry I haven't answered personals the last few days, but I am very busy. I will try to came back today.

Getting ready for the gym. I will do cardio today.

Morning,

I did CCPP on the CT in the gym today. I was so motivated this morning in the gym. LOL! I traveled 5 miles,;) I am very proud! That is my first 5 miler on the TC! I burned 1100 cal. I am one sweaty mess.

Before I went to the gym, I tried on 3 black little dresses I had since 4 years (after my mom passed away, I gained a lot of weight), I couldn’t fit in them to save my life. Now they all fit again. I did tried them on 3 months ago, still couldn’t get in them. I couldn’t even get them over my a$$, lol! They all fit, now I can’t decide which one to wear. Whatever I am doing it’s working. I am losing inches, which is fine with me! I was so afraid when I hurt my back a few months ago, it would set my weight loss back, and it didn’t.

Off to the shower and walk the dogs. Still have to do my core/back exercises! BBL!

Going to do a turbo kick for my cardio later and some sort of abs. First I have to go to my yearly GYN appt :confused: Hate that! :p but it's what I gotta do.

Great calorie burn today, Belinda! And awesome on the clothes fitting!! That's fantastic!! good for you!

Nora: Good job on BM2 yesterday! ... I'm a late bloomer on the Twilight stuff. I just borrowed the 1st book from a friend, i'll probably start on it after Thanksgiving. .... Hey, Maybe we can do P90X together? when will you start it, do you think? I got it for DH a few months ago, and I think he's saving to start it after the first of the year, so I'll do it with him too.

Hi ladies. Well, I should report that I tried spin last night (it's free with my gym membership by the way). DH went up there with me even, which I was glad. It was more involved than just jumping on and going. That seat adjusts 10 million ways so at least I wasn't trying to figure it out on my own. That was a big fear of mine.

I went home and did STS no equip abs first then when I got to the gym I ran for about 15 mins just to get my legs moving. Spin was 50 mins total, but the cool down was a solid 5 mins. I didn't burn nearly the calories I thought I would - everyone always goes on and on about burning 5 million calories in a spin class. I did 481 for 50 mins, not bad, but certainly not what I hear other people touting.

Anyway, it was definitely different. My legs are sore so I am not sure I'll be able to squeak out plyo legs tonight. It's almost all quad. I may start trying to incorporate that in as a cardio b/c I really need something new to keep me motivated. The music was fun and loud. It was hard not to start singing along! LOL.

Belinda - good job with your weight loss!!

Looks like everyone had great workouts yesterday. Lots of DOMS today???

Tonite for me is 4ds LIS step only.

Debbie-I need to say thank you and give you a really big hug I looked in the mirror this morning and couldn't believe what I was seeing my abs are looking great my hips are smaller you are changing my body wasn't sure what I was going to do next month and now I know I want to repeat this rotation.

Belinda-YEAH! on the dresses fitting that is incredible.

Heather-glad you enjoyed the spin class wasn't as bad as you thought.

Chris-I hate that yearly thing. Enjoy your workout.
 
Today was Plyo X again. LOVED IT! And had a better workout then the first time because I knew all the moves. I worked harder and jumped higher. Had a great time. I love the last three drills on this DVD. I also did the Ab Work from Cardio & Weights.

HR STATS for Cardio & Ab work:
1 hr. 10 minutes total
8 minutes below zone
22 minutes in zone
41 minutes above zone
546 calories burned!


Any workout that can give me over a 500 calorie burn is A-OK in my book!!!

Belinda - I'm so glad to hear you're fitting into those dresses. I can only imagine being sidelined with an injury and fearing the worst. But look at you - slimming down! Great job! That says a lot for your dedication.

Debbie - doesn't Plyo X rock?!? I must say, that is the only disc I've done. No, I take that back, I think I tried his kenpo (wimpy). Keep up the great work. Maybe I'll revisit that series after STS. I tell you, all those pullups and pushups make me scared. You inspire me!

Roxie - awesome on your new shape!!! It's amazing what exercise will do for you. You've consistently made time for it and watched your diet and it is PAYING OFF! Yay for you!

Nora - I don't know if I've done BM2 all the way through again (after just getting it and trying it). You go! Too funny on the lentil stew - I made it last week also. I put chicken in it. I ended up freezing it (for my lunches next week) because I made so much food for my family before I went to California. And I knew that would be the least favorite and didn't want it to go to waste.

Chris - what do I say....have fun at your appt?!?!??! Enjoy your cardio later!

Heather - way to go for trying spin! I don't think almost 500 calories for less than an hour is anything to sneeze at! And now you've done it. And like you said, it'll be a great thing to incorporate into your program.

All right. We're flying to Phoenix this afternoon for Thanksgiving. I think I'll do disc 18 today then all I'll need to do is cardio while I'm down there. I'd better get moving - I've got more packing to do!

Saturday I made spice cake cupcakes with a cream cheese icing. I did use no sugar applesauce in lieu of the oil to make myself feel a little better about eating them!

Nora - You are welcome for my recommendation. I'm always glad to give my opinions and help out on any workouts. I think you and your husband will love P90X. I can't wait until you try it!!

Belinda - P90X isn't really supersets, but I guess you can call it that because there is literally no rest between anything. He throws in a 1 minute break every 15 minutes or so. It's fun!

Wendy - Yes, Plyo X is da bomb! I love it. I think I like workouts that are laid out like this versus the step and KB combo's we are all use too. I must be more "athletic" then I thought. Those drills all pretty much reminded me of football drills and I just loved it. I also love how it's set up in 30 second segments. Very cool! I loved Kenpo X too. Why do you say it was wimpy???

Roxie - I sure do appreciate the big ol' hug! I am so glad you are seeing results. Are you doing the December rotation? If you are, you might want to try the January one next. Debbie - It really didn't get boring. I thought it might, but it never did. The music really keeps you pumped up and you're also focused on the burn in your legs!!!! :eek:

All I kept thinking about was how I wasn't going to be able to do plyo legs the next day and that my legs must have been growing with every single interval she did! Walked in She-ra and out He-Man!!!

Heather - I'm glad it didn't get boring. Nothing worse then watching the clock tick by when you're working out! LOL!

Completed Cathe's Oct rotation tonight with Plyo Legs, Disc 29. I don't feel like I pushed all that hard, but with plyo legs, it's harder to tell I think. I'm sure I'll be taking those words back tomorrow. I plan on not working out tomorrow as I have lots of errands to run and food to get started on. I do plan on getting up Thurs morning and doing Cardio Fusion and abs before heading to my hometown. We'll hit DH's family first (where unfortunately if I want to eat I'll have to bring my own dish) then my dad's for a later meal (by which time I'll be a grumpy famished fool). :eek:

High fives on that awesome job on the CCPP on the TC wow, now that's a killer cardio burn!:eek: Congrats on the workout and on the dropping dress sizes that's awesome what a great accomplishment. Keep up the great job Belinda!:) I probably won't start P90X until the middle part of December maybe the second week, I'll see. Oh, warning about the Twilight series, its more addictive than crack!! Its awesome, you'll be hooked. You have some great reading ahead of you.;)

Heather- Wow! your spin class sounds like fun. You might want to think about an epsom salt bath and taking some advil before bed to help head off the DOMS. Great workout today, keep up the good work. I've never tried a spin class so good for you. I'm strictly a workout at home girl. Have a restful and relaxing evening!

Roxie- I really like 4DS and LIS is a favorite of mine on that dvd. Its a fun one and I'm sure you'll do great.

Debbie- Yes, thank you again for your thoughts on P90X, now I can't wait to get it. I see you're enjoying it today with Plyo X, great cardio burn, that's great. Cardio and Weights Abs are fun to do, nice addition to your always fab workout. I'm so excited about P90X and in the not so distant future is Shock Cardio too! I can't wait for either of these, I love good hard workouts to look forward to doing, is that insane? Oh well you know what I mean. Have a great evening.

I substituted this,Imax 2, instead of doing Imax 3 its very hard on my knees so I opted to revise this in Cathe's November Rotation rather than do Imax 3.
Imax 2= 55 Minutes of pure fun
Calories burned= 601

Cross Train Xpress-Kickbox Abs Only= 12 Min
Calories burned= 82
