Crazy Strong and Loving It for Nov.2, 2009

Today was Meso 3, Week 3, Disc 32, Plyo Legs. Had a pretty good workout but some of the plyo moves I just couldn't do. I'm afraid to hurt my back and knees with some of the movements. I tried my best but quit early on some of them.

Lateral Step Ups - 20#/12 reps each leg
Sit N Stand Up with Jump and Weight in Hand - 8#
Walking Lunges - 15's/12 reps each side
Reach and Tap Corner of Step with weighted Gloves - 1#
Step Up with Hand Weights - 15's/12 reps each side
Butt Kicks Over Step
Close Stance One Leg Squats - 20's/12 reps each side
Rock Climbers on Floor - These were hard for me, I stopped about half way through
Drop Side Lunge onto Step - 25#/12 reps each side
Straddle Down jump Up with Knee Lift - I liked this one
Back Lunge Alternating off Step - 20's/12 reps each side
Explosive Running Man - I liked these too
Deadlifts Wide Stance - 35's/12 reps
Lateral Crossovers on Step with Weight - I liked this one too
Drop Side Lunge on Floor into Leg Abduction - 15#/12 reps each side
Squat thrust and Jump onto box and Step Off - These I didn't like at all. Did about 5 of them.
Alternating Front Lunge - 15's/12 reps each side
Lunge taps on Step with Finger tips touching - I like these.
Alternating Side Lunge - 15#/12 reps each side
Band Hop One leg and Turn corner hop with other leg - Kind of stupid, but I did this one ok
One Legged Deadlifts - 20#/8 reps each side
One Leg Squat Thrust Switch After 15 Seconds - These were impossible for me, I just did regular squat thrusts.
Squats Narrow Stance - 35's/12 reps
Lateral Jumps over Step Platform
Low Lunge/Squat Combo - 12 reps each side
Slow Straddle Jumps

Overall I did well, I thought. I'm not too big with plyo moves so it's a miracle I'm doing these workouts in the first place!

My mom comes home on Friday! :D
 
Good Morning,

I am down another 2lbs this morning, 117lbs thats 8lbs in 1 month. I have also lost 1 more inch in waist, baby pooch hips are staying the same don't know what to do about that. I think I have decided to do Debbies Dec. rotation again.

Debbie-will this help to tighten everything up and reduce the hips? Yeah on mom coming home.
 
Hi ladies. It was so nice coming into work this morning with sunshine!! DH and I may try to run at lunch today. It's supposed to be 70 degrees!

Hi girls,

I just did PUB/PLB "Bonus Workout", It's a total body workout, loved it! I even got my HR up on that one:eek: I burned 240 cal.! I really liked that workout, will do it again soon. For deadlifts, I did leg extensions.

I will be back for personals, I hope. Had a very long and busy weekend.
 
DH and I ran at lunch. It was so nice to be doing something outside! We just ran about 21 mins and with warmup and cool down it was 26 total. Tonight I really would like to go ahead and do legs (Disc 17). We'll see if that gets done or not...

Roxie - Do you mean will Plyo legs shape up the hips? If so, then I'd say yes. However, I think L&G or B&G is more effective for tightening up.

Debbie-sorry about the confusion I meant your Dec. Rotation will help me keep this wt. off and help me lose more inches.
 
I managed to get legs done today YEAH! Now I don't have all week to dread them. It was disc 17. The good thing is that the time just flew by! Felt pretty strong today too.

Here's today's workout for me:

KCM 30 Min to Fitness Kickboxing- Workout #1= 28 Min
Calories burned= 268
Used 1lb each kickboxing weighted gloves as well to intensify the workout.

KCM-NYC-Mocha Mix(Upperbody,Abs, and Stretch)= 33 Min
Calories burned= 270
This was a really fun workout and I was a sweaty mess, I liked it. This was a very light workout more of a toning workout using #5,#8,
#10 dumbells.

I was hoping to start Cathe's rotation for November 2009 but she's very busy and hasn't had time to post it yet. So, I decided I had to options, no workout or do a lighter one, so I did that. I didn't want to do something to strenuous weight wise because I don't know what Cathe may have instore for us with this new rotation. I played it safe and still got somewhat of a calorie burn in not alot but still it helps.

Roxie- Good luck with whatever rotation you do of Debbie's I know they are awesome and deliver results. I hope things are getting better for you and that your stomach is settling down. Take care!;)

Belinda- How are you doing kiddo? Nice workout today! I haven't done the PUB/PLB Mix total body one, how is that? I'll have to try that mix sometime you've inspired me.

Debbie- what can I say you do killer workouts and I'm in awe of the weights that you can lift, your awesome girl!

Chris- I hope your doing ok and that things are looking better at work.

Heather- Nice run! Enjoy the good weather and good luck with STS Disc 17 tonight.

Hey Girls..

Monday is kind of rushed here, but it's nice now. The boys are off from school tomorrow so no homework wars :)

I felt horrible at work last night, had THE worst sinus headache, I wanted to come home so bad, but it was very very busy, and I couldn't leave my friends short. So i worked through it. I finally took Excedrin Migraine at midnight, and it helped so much!!

The headache came back in the morning, and I was so grateful to hit my pillow. Slept 5 hours, and felt better.

I then headed into MESO 2, WEEK 1, with DISC 13: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps. NO PUSH-UPS! YAY! It was a great workout, and I worked til failure more than a few times. I do think i will be feeling it tomorrow.

BEST thing of all, the workout TOTALLY took away every last iota of my sinus pain!

Debbie: Good workout on Plyo Legs today! i know, some of those moves are crazy. I do love jumping though!

Heather: I'm UBER jealous of your beautiful weather and your run today! I know you've been way overdue for good runnign weather there! Your legs should be nice and sore tomorrow after that AND Disc 17!

Nora: Good idea on doing a light workout. I'm in the middle of STS, but always love to see what Cathe puts out for her rotations (for future use!). Mocha Mix sounds yummy!! LOL!
