Crazy Strong and Loving It for Nov 19, 2009

Good morning,

I am fried:eek: I ended up doing PS warm up + legs/floorwork (got a nice burn) + stretch, PS chest, shoulders/triceps/stretch + PS Back and biceps/stretch. I think I am done for today!;)


Off to the shower! I will be back for personals!
 
Today was Yoga X and I've done this before. I really wish it wasn't an hour and a half because I just can't get the entire workout done. I only have an hour in the morning to get my workouts in so when I'm done, I'm done. I enjoy this one, though. Very good yoga practice.

Lots of vinysa's in this one, lots of up-dogs and down-dogs. I did them all. Then I did about three of the balance poses and had to quit. Had a great workout, I really enjoy this one.

I'm a bit sore from yesterday's workout, but nothing too major.
 
Hi ladies, not doing any form of exercise today. Really in a funk. I took off work tomorrow to go spend the day with my mom. I am planning on getting my workout done in the morning since it won't have to be super early. Not sure what yet, but I need to do something super fun! Maybe SB or a premix from SB and SJP.

Belinda - good job with that workout - I bet you are fried.

Debbie - I'd agree that an hour and a half is a bit long. I know I sometimes work out that long or longer on weekends, but it's not just one thing. It's weights plus a run perhaps.

Nora - way to go with your workout yesterday!!

Roxie - how are you feeling today?

Chris - how's the calf? Are you going to chance a run?

Wendy - hi!! Hope you're doing well with your workouts (I'm sure you are of course!)
 
Hey Girls!

I found the remote control (my boys lost it over the weekend) , so I'm going to do Round 32 of Turbo Kick today! No, no run. I am going to stick with my plan of no running this week, to rest my calf, as hard as it is for me. I just don't want the injury I had before.

Belinda: Holy COW, that is a thorough total body workout you got in!!

Debbie: oh my gosh, 1 and 1/2 hours of yoga? Though it does sound nice, it just seems like it would get "boring".

Heather: enjoy the rest day! Aren't you glad you pushed out CF yesterday? I'm sorry you're feeling down. It's a rough time of year. I think the daylight lessoning has a lot to do with people's moods. Try to get outside to get some sunshine!!

Roxie: Hope you feel better today!

Wendy: Are you on recovery week this week or week #1 of MEso 2?

Nora: KickBUTT workout , you continue to amaze me!!! You go!!!

I think my stomach is just PMS bloat I feel like I weigh 50lbs and it just upsets everything. Tonite for me is 4ds lower body and floor work from B&G I am not going to do the abs I have abs for tomarrow. Since I have already worked back and bis once this week tomarrow I will do the workout I was suppose to do yesterday. Glad to hear everyone is doing ok and getting they're workouts in.

Debbie-did you get those abs done?

Heather-sorry to hear you have the blahs.
 
OH MY GAWD!

Round 31 was so freakin fun and kicked my ASS with sweating! My HR got up to 180 and I almost felt like puking!

I did the 2 minutes of abs at the end and then did Med Ball Abs from ab circuits.

I am totally in love with this workout!

So worth the $30!

Roxie: Sounds like a goodie for a workout tonight!!!
 
Chris - I am hoping to get some sunshine today - I think it's finally supposed to clear up. It's still cold though.

Way to go with that workout! I need to check into those. I'm in desperate need of some new and different cardio. Love Cathe, but I can only do so much step!!! Do you have a link (or know right off hand) to the workouts? I am not familiar with them at all.

Roxie - do you have netflix? Maybe you can add some of Kimberly Spreen's workouts to the list just to try before you buy. If you were closer, I'd sure let you borrow mine!

Here's the link, Heather. They are kind of expensive. I got it "on special" right before Halloween, and paid $30 with S&H. Have you done Turbo Jam before? Or Chalene? I'd make sure I'd like her/her style of workouts before you sink a lot of money into one of the Turbo Kicks. Some people love her (ME!!) , some people don't (??). I like the style of kickboxing mixed with hip/hop music and dancing.

Anyways, here's the link to the "fan workouts". She also has instructional workouts for trainers, so be careful!

(I'm not brave enough to try the Hip/Hop Hustle stuff yet, that's way more dancey!)

Chris, thanks for the link to the workouts - I'll check them out, too. I just completed Meso 2 week 1 this morning. I took a long recovery week and got back on the STS train on Sunday!
Belinda, GREAT total body workout you got in today! Good job. I hope your family is well and your DD is happy. Is she doing okay?

Roxie, good job keeping up with your workouts. I know sometimes during TTOM I feel like there are suddenly 2 of me I'm trying to lift/workout! Yikes! Hang in there.

I did Disc 15 today - Back & Bis. Great workout. I was struggling during preacher curls - thought about you, Heather! My left arm gave fast!
All righty. Got a hair appt this morning. I'm flying to CA tomorrow to spend the weekend with my SIL (brother is in Philippines). We're going to Napa - should be tons of fun.

Chris - thanks for the link. I've never done any of her workouts before. I bet they aren't on netflix either. Will double check. Maybe I can get lucky and stumble across a cheap one on ebay.

Wendy - it was my left arm too! Stupid freaking preacher curls!!! Oh I am sooo jealous of you going to Napa. I've never been, and DH and I want to go so badly. Have fun for me too please!

Thanks for the happy thoughts and hugs ladies! I know this will pass. This time of year just always get stressful (work, holidays), the weather is often gloomy and blah, my bday doesn't make me happy - not digging the rapid ascent to 40, I think I have been over training (ok, I know), yadda yadda...

Tomorrow will be a "me" day. I will workout in the morning, but not early, hopefully something fun. I get to spend time with my mom, get my hair cut, and just relax (I hope).

You ladies are the best!!!!

Tonite I did 4ds lower body and 1 round of butts and guts floor didn't feel like working out for 2 hours.

4ds Stats:
30 min
23 in the zone
133 min hr
165 max hr
180 cals burned.

B&G Stats:
27 min
8 in the zone
116 min hr
156 max hr
126 cals burned.

I was able for the first time to do all the calf work from LIS 4DS.

Today was a killer workout for me. I see that you guys did killer workouts today, that's so awesome you guys rock!!! Keep up the great job!:eek:

Maximum Intensity Cardio= 74 Min
Calories burned= 909
That was fun but man was that tough great calorie burn though.

Core Cuts Cut#1 - Med Ball Standing= 12 Min
Calories burned= 74

Ok, I'm too worn out for personals tonight so I'll try to do better tomorrow night.
