Good morning,

After I am done with my coffee, I will do a full body workout!

Have a great day and workout! BBL!

Good morning! Yesterday I did indeed hit the gym for HIIT work. I walked 1 min, ran 4 then did 8 intervals of 60 seconds at 8.0 and 60 seconds at 4.5. I then finished up with a steady state run at 6.6 for 25 mins.

My hamstrings are really tight and so is my left hip flexor. I was going to do Disc 3 legs, but I may have to hold off. We'll see if they loosen up throughout the day.

Nora - you go with your drill max AND GS workout!!! I have not done that one in ages, other than just the cardio portion.

Roxie - good job with SJP and weights. How are you liking that rotation?

Chris - are you in a better mood this morning???

Hey Girls!!

Belinda: What workout did you do? Hey, what did your doctor say about STS, did you bring the book to show him/her?

Heather: In spite of sleeping in 2 hour intervals last night, I feel pretty energized! And yes, I'm in a better mood! :) I'm glad I'm not the only one that was irritated by the "wave method" in DISC 19. Your rotation is cool with all these mixed up STS workouts! Have fun with #3 today!

My calf is still feeling tight, so no step or run for me today :(. I'm going to go give Turbo Kick Round 32 a try (the workout I was supposed to do Saturday ).

Wow, the only part of my body that is sore is my abs. Got me, I didn't even work my abs yesterday. I guess those Dive Bomber Pushups did this to me.

Today was cardio and I did Plyometrics X. Wasn't looking forward to it because I HATE Plyometrics, but I have to say I had a blast. Very fun workout and it went by in a flash. Intervals of 30 second and 1 minute blasts. Hardly any rest inbetween. I liked it and I did my best with each interval.

I'm liking my stats:

60 minutes total
6 minutes below zone
15 minutes in zone
41 minutes above zone
504 calories burned!

Belinda - meant to ask, how was your dinner? I ended up slow roasting some cherry tomatoes with a little bit of olive oil and a lot of garlic. I had some spaghetti squash patties that I had made extras of and froze. So I topped them with fresh spinach, the tomatoes and some provolone and put on whole wheat bun with baked sweet potato "fries" on the side. YUM.

I got the idea for the tomatoes from a blog called Vegan Dad. I totally didn't follow his recipe, but it was making a sauce with roasted tomatoes and putting on spaghetti squash. I really will try that one the next time I have spaghetti squash on hand.

Hi girls,

Ended up doing MM today. My phone wouldn’t stop ringing today, one of those days. Also had a PT appointment. I talked to the PT, I still have to wait for STS/running, too much high impact. I was a little disappointed.

Heather, nice job yesterday. Have fun with your workout today. You making me hungry with all those great recipes! I haven’t seen spaghetti squash in our commissary! BTW, my dinner was fantastic! I love sweet potatoes!

Chris, one of those days, I will start/finish STS! Have fun with your workout today.

Debbie, wow on your cal burn! Glad you enjoyed your workout today.

Have a great day!

Good Morning,

I had an unorganized morning so I am posting late. Went to make chili for supper and realized I forgot to buy beans so I had to run to the store. Tonite I am doing LIS the original and C&W abs.

Heather-I think now that I am doing this rotation religously I am going to see great results I just need to push myself alittle harder on the wts. I can't remember what my barbells weigh so I am going to reweigh them and mark them somehow so I can go up.

Debbie-glad you enjoyed your workout.

Chris-glad to hear you are feeling better today.

Belinda-how the back?

Hi All! I'm sorry I haven't done any personals. Just been busy at work. I am reading all the posts, though and you are all kicking some butt!!!

Checking in -

Good workouts, girls!
Today I did Step Blast. I actually hadn't done this one for a while and of course I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I am not, however, looking forward to the wave sets that you guys are talking about. At least I don't think I'll be PMSing when I'm doing disc 19. Maybe that'll help...?
Very windy here last night - I just got my internet up and going again. I need to get my meals ready for work....
Have a great afternoon/evening!

Roxie - if you're seeing some good results, you may think about repeating the rotation, at least the first 2 weeks.

Chris - glad you're feeling better today. Not sure if it's the weather or upcoming bday, but I'm getting in a real funk and need to dig my way out.

Wendy - glad you enjoyed SB. That's always a fun one, and a good calorie burner too!

Debbie - glad you had fun with the plyo workout. I find that I end up enjoying plyo work and it goes by fast, maybe b/c it's just short intervals.

Belinda - good job with MM

I managed to crank out Disc 3 legs. At least time flew by, and I was able to go heavier on weights. Even added weights to the walking lunges. I also did abs from LIC.

Have a good evening!

Good Evening,

Tonite I did C&W abs boy is that a toughie and LIS I forgot how good this workout is.

LIS Stats:
37 min
35 in the zone
144 min hr
175 max hr
255 cals burned.

C&W Abs:
8 min
2 in the zone
114 min hr
132 max hr
36 cals burned.

Heather-I am thinking about taking a week off and then repeating the rotation next month but adding in longer cardio.

Hi Girls!;)

here's today's workout for me:

I took it easy today workout wise in terms of not pushing it for a super long workout.

Kick Max= 73 Minutes
Calories burned= 708
This is always a fun one for me since I love Kickboxing. The leg drills at the end are no joke you can definitely feel those!

Heather- that was some workout with the HIIT stuff, how'd you like it? I'm impressed, that sounds seriously intense. I'm sure you got a great calorie burn with that workout,WTG!:D:eek:

Roxie- Great workout today! Excellent job keep up the great work!!:);)

Good night girls, and I'll seeya at the next checkin tomorrow. Have a great night.

Hugs!:)

Chris- I'm curious what is Turbo Kick Round 32? I have Turbo Jam and really enjoyed it. Please be careful with your tight calve muscles. I think you're doing the right thing by taking it easy and not running or doing step that could aggravate it. I hope you enjoyed Turbo Kick, I really want to find out more about that. I love kickboxing and always lookout for kickboxing orientated cardio workouts.

Debbie- Ok girl, spill what is Plyometrics X workout? I'm intrigued. I admit I'm not a fan of Plyometrics because of the impact to my joints-mainly knees and ankles. It sounds like you really had fun with that workout. So, who is the instructor? Was this a DVD? Spill with the details ok. I'm glad you had a fun workout today that surprised you because it was plyo. I've seen the Insanity infomercial and saw the impact movements and thought oh boy my knees and ankles would so not like that at all. I've been sort of wondering how well received that workout is, it seems to me that not alot of people would be well suited to that style of workout and I can see the intensity and possibility of injury at least for me:p WTG Debbie on your workout!!:):D Its always impressive and inspiring.

Belinda- great job with MM today, that is a strong total body workout!! Bravo!!

Roxie- Chili for dinner? Yumm!!! Good for you finding a rotation that works for you. I just make myself workout everyday its just a habit now for me. I don't like having one day off from working out because it just feels wrong,LOL.. Cathe would be proud!;)

Wendy- Isn't step blast awesome? That is so much fun to do and a definite keeper in the rotations. STS is great too! Have fun and be fit and keep up the great workouts!!!:)

Heather- Today you did STS Disc 3 Legs, walking lunges with weights, and LIC. You go girl!!!:p

That's it for me tonight girls, seeya at tomorrow's check in have a great night!

Hugs!

Nora
