I will do a full body workout, not sure what yet?:rolleyes:

Happy hump day! BBL to report my workout.
 
I decided to do Super Sets & Push/Pull “ Total Body premix (2 sets) ” # 15, 80 min. Great workout! Time went by fast.

Ok, need to take a shower and get busy! BBL!
 
Hi Ladies. I managed to get up early again this morning and get my workout done. Guess that's been the one perk of the time change. Feel like going to bed at 8pm, but I'm WIDE awake at 5!

It was Plyo Legs Disc 35. I don't feel like I worked that hard for some reason. Either it's because I was still mostly asleep, or it'll all hit me tonight or tomorrow.

Belinda - good job with your workout. I have not done that workout in forever.
 
o today was my last STS workout. I'm going to miss it but for sure will do it again. Today was Meso 3, Week 4, Disc 36, Shoulders, Biceps & Triceps. Had a great workout.

Warmup:
Standing Barbell Front Press - 35#/15 reps
Standing Barbell Front Press - 40#/12 reps

Workout:
Standing Barbell Front Press - 55#/8 reps
Barbell Curl - 57#/8 reps
Flat Bench Dumbbell Tricep Extensions - 22's/8 reps
***Did this for 4 sets. 1 minute rest between each exercise. With the Front Press I dropped down to 52# because I barely made 8 reps with the first set. My notes showed that I used 52# and that's what I should have used. I got arrogant and tried 55#.

Seated Lateral Raise - 13's/8 reps
Incline Curls on Stablity Ball - 22's/8 reps
Seated Overhead Dumbbell Extensions One Arm - 17#/8 reps
***Did 4 sets of these. About 30 seconds rest between each exercise and 1 minute between each set.

Seated Rear Delts - 22's/8 reps
Seated Concentration Curls - 27#/8 reps
Overhead Tricep Extension - 35#/8 reps
***Did 4 sets of these. About 30 seconds rest between each exercise and 1 minute between each set. 3rd exercise was suppose to be Cross Body Extensions but my right shoulder does not like that exercise so I subbed with Overhead Extensions.

I'm taking the next four days off totally and possibly starting P90X on Monday. I haven't decided yet.
 
Roxie - On your cardio only days, if you feel like doing an hour workout, go ahead and do it. Just listen do your body. You don't want to overdo it with the cardio but with this rotation I don't think it would be a bad thing to go 45 minutes to an hour on the cardio days.

Tonite is GS Biceps and KCMs kickboxing and 4ds abs.

Debbie-thanks for the suggestion if I would get up and get Jillian done in the morning and then my other workout at nite I would end up with almost and hour of cardio.

Belinda-good job with your workout.

Heather-wish I could get up early and like you I am ready for bed at 8.
 
Roxie - I sure wish I could get up early all the time and get those workouts done. I feel like I have sooooo much free time after work. I don't even know what to do!!! LOL - chores, that's what I should be doing.

Debbie - way to go with STS! Seems like you just started it. You know, you may really enjoy Cathe's October rotation at some point as well. I'm really liking mixing up the STS workouts. I know I will do the whole program again, just wasn't ready to invest 3.5 months just yet. Enjoy your rest days.

I forgot, I had the STS book. LOL! I am gonna review all the exercises, especially legs and see if I can do it. BBL!

Hi Girls!

I finally got myself downstairs and did DISC 17: Legs. Trisets again. The slide back lunges on the paper plate with weights KILL me, I can NOT for the life of me get down that far with those. I think my legs were a little tighter from my run yesterday too. But still, OW! I did the Basic Stretching from TBS, which is really leg/lower body focused. Felt good!

Belinda: that's an AWESOME premix! sounds like you're working hard there!!

Heather: Oh, I could NEVER do Plyo Legs at 5am! I'm not a good early am exerciser.

Debbie: So THIS week I can congratulate you on finishing STS!!! You graduated! Those weights are heavY. you go!. Did you do measurements or feel you had muscle growth/increased definition from STS? We have P90X and I think after I finish STS, I will take a month off (with another rotation, probably circuit/full body) , and then start it HOPEFULLY with DH! That would be after the first of the year. A good time for new workouts!

Roxie: GREAT workout today! Sounds tough!!! But fun!

*HEY* to Nora and Wendy!. Wendy, what did you decide on STS, to take 10 days off for recovery week before Meso 2? I think that's the best option!

My boys are off from school today. Right now they're all outside playing, maybe I'll sneak in some DVR'd TV while I fold laundry!

Sorry, but no time today for personals, just a quick check in.

Here's today's workout:

I'm doing Cathe's November 2009 rotation, today's workout calls for just PS upperbody, doing the other one for this week. I opted for a higher calorie burn and did Tae bo, it was a sweat fest that's for sure.

Tae Bo II Get Ripped-Advanced 1= 58 Min (now there's a blast from the past):eek:
Calories burned= 594
that was fun but its very hard for me to do a lot of the balancing on one leg type moves now that I have MS and nerve damage that affects my balance.
So, I did the best that I could and if I lost my balance I'd try it again. So, I didn't get as many reps in of those particular moves, so what I did make the effort and that's what counts not giving up.

PS- chest, Shoulders & Triceps= 36 min
Calories burned= 344
this was a good basic lighter weight type option and I was delighted to realize I was going heavier than Cathe and gang in the Dvd on several of the weight moves. Love that! Ok, that's it for me today girls, see ya at tomorrow's check in.

Good evening,

I was looking through the STS book yesterday, don’t see a reason why I can’t do it? I would only do Meso 1 (with the weights I am using right now), just to change things up. The only problem I saw, were all those deadlifts for back/legs! I will take the book to my PT, see what she/he thinks. I also want to start the 100 push up challenge, not sure if my back can handle all that? I know, I want a lot, lol!

Nora, as always way to go on your workouts! Cathe’s Nov. rotation looks great as always. How are you feeling?

Chris, WTG on D 17.The paper plate’s exercises are tough. I have never done that premix before, loved it!
