Crazy, strong and loving it for Monday!

Good morning,

I have no workout to report yesterday, I pulled or pinched something in my leg:eek: I will do some stretching first.

I will wait until this afternoon to workout and see how my leg is feeling? Not sure, what I will do today....

Hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. I had dinner in DC with DH and DD, that was fun.

Ok, I officially start my 9 week Couch to 5K rotation today. My next 9 weeks will consist of:

* Couch to 5K workouts 3 times a week
* Do 2 total body workouts a week

My goal is:

* To be able to run 3 miles in under 30 minutes.

Today I did 60 seconds on/90 seconds off. Ran at a speed of 4.5mph this time with each jog. For this week the workouts are the same but on Wednesday I will up the speed to 4.7 and on Friday it will go up to 5. We'll see how I do.

CARDIO STATS:
40 minutes total
2 minutes below zone
10 minutes in zone
28 minutes above zone
332 calories burned
2.103 miles travelled


Happy with these stats and the runs went well. I felt like I should be going faster but I'm not doing this for speed. I had a really bad headache when I woke up and it's not much better today. But I will have no excuse not doing this 9 week rotation, especially since I'll have Saturday and Sunday as rest days.

My shoulder is 100% better, but I'm having some tightness in my traps. Not sure why? I'll use my massage pillow tonight and try to get the knots out. Tomorrow I will do a new full body workout from Cathe that I have never done yet.
 
Good Morning,

Yesterday I spent 4 hours at the lake water felt good because it was 93 degrees with a heat index of 107. I learned to tube yesterday not something I care to repeat an today I am sore from a sunburn forgot to put sunscreen on chest. Tonite will be a walk since its cooler.

Belinda-be careful with your leg.

Debbie-sounds like a good plan an good job with your workout.
 
Debbie-if you come back later I am currently doing 1 upper body 1 lower body and then a circuit plus cardio is this enough or should I do something different? The workouts I am currently doing are KCMs workouts but am thinking about doing GS timesavers next month.

Are you only working out 3 days a week?
 
Debbie-i work out 6 days I do cardio either a walk or kickboxing an then I try to do one high intensity workout
 
I am done with HR plus abs, I just love that workout. Soooo much fun!!
 
Debbie - great plan, girl! You can do it! Question, can I do 3 full body workouts in a week? Probably not, ha?

Roxie - Oh No, on the sun burn...that's no fun. A nice walk sounds lovely.

Hi Girls!

Must be something in the air. I got a severe headache last night at work. I was a mess this morning when I got home. Vicodin, 5 hours sleep, woke up with a duller , but it was still there. I took an Aleve-D and then used some peppermint oil. It worked! I feel foggy, but my head is not exploding!

I got some new workouts this week , Michelle Dozios Peak Fit system. I will start tomorrow I think. Today I did Turbo Kick Round 31 (45 minutes) and then BM2 Abs.

Belinda: your weekend dinner sounded nice in DC! Does your daughter live near you now? Good workout with High Reps!!! THAT IS A GOODIE!!

Debbie: What a fun different rotation! are you excited/psyched about it?

Roxie: Tubing sounds fun! (except for the sunburn). Enjoy your walk outside!

Wow, great workout today and even went up #2.5 a couple of times from last week, so that's cool. Circuit Burn is a super fun workout and loved doing that one too. I hope everyone has a great day!
