Today was Day 3 of Couch to 5K. Had a really good workout. Upped my speed to 5 mph and did well with it. HR got up to 154 bpm towards the end. It was staying steady at 148 for the longest time.

CARDIO STATS:

13 minutes in zone
18 minutes above zone
275 calories burned
1.837 miles travelled


Quick workout, I was going to stay on a bit longer today to get more of a calorie burn but I have a lot to do today. So nope, just did the 30 minutes.

Today's Peakfit workout was Cardio Strength. Puke status! It works on the same principle as the others: Gradually getting tougher in intensity, and then a "Peak" (interval). But with Strength , the "Basecamp" is functional weight moves and strength moves. Really tough! And good! Loved it!

Debbie: Nice getting your run in today! The shorter workouts are good that you can get other stuff done. it doesn't always have to be long.

Nora: Nice workouts yesterday!!! Kickbutt!!! I understand about your dog pulling on walks. Buddy does too, if it's a new situation. But if we go on the "same walk in the same place", he's fine. AND if there's no dogs. He pulls HARD when there are other dogs. .... I have an offer for you , if you're interested. Michelle Dozios put out 2 workouts called Peak 10 a few years ago. They actually are 2 of the SAME workouts that are in her Peak FIT Package. If you want, I'd be willing to sell you the 2 workouts. They are the Cardio Interval Burn and the Strength Cardio one. The cheapest I've seen them is $17.99 at TotalFitness. I was thinking about 10 or 12 each? Depending on S&H. Just a suggestion. if you wanted to get both the Aerobox and some of the peak fit workouts. Just a thought! LMK!

Good Afternoon,

Tonite for me is KCM Plyo Blast and some abs. I have a really bad headache today but I just keep reminding myself that at 5pm I am on vacation. It is 12:30 here and the temp is 98 degrees with a heat index of 99.

Belinda-enjoy your cardio.

Debbie-good job on your workout. Need suggestions for lower ab work that doesn't require laying down.

Chris-as you can see still hot expecting 105 again today. Nice job with your workout.

Chris-I did see those and I might try some of those and some med ball abs sitting in a v-sit position. I just can't lay all the way down.

I think the last time I did TF Core 20 I used the pink band and it was hard today I used the pink band and thought this feels like nothing, so I'm feeling stronger, Yay!
