Good morning,

Thanks for all your kind works and hugs yesterday. You girls are amazing. It’s never an easy time for me, there isn’t a day goes by, I am not thinking about my mom. I am doing much better today. You guys going to bed and I just woke up drinking my coffee. LOL!

Patti – my mom and dad never left Germany. They both lived there all there lives. I was born and raised in Germany. I met my DH, 26 years ago in Germany and the rest is history. Great job with 4DS workouts. Love the 4DS! Don’t worry about the step, you will catch on. Have a blast at the RT! I will try to get in next year.

Heather – I am glad my day turned out better yesterday. I am glad I got my workout out in , I don’t think I gave it 100 %, but it’s better than nothing.

Thanks Debbie! (((HUGS)))) My mom was my best friend, besides my DD. I been feeling like crap for a few days now. I think you like STS, time definatly goes by so fast and you don’t get bored. Are you going to do the squat rack rotation?

Chris – thanks for the hugs yesterday. I hate those anniversaries, they are definatly no fun! Brings back so many bad memories. Glad Jillian kicked your butt yesterday. Which dvd was it? I can’t wait to get my Jillian Michales DVD’s. DH couldn’t find them in WM, we had to order them online. I am thinking about getting her books too?

Bev – thanks you! WTG with C&W yesterday. Have fun this weekend. DH and I will stay in Nuernberg this weekend, they having a steet fest going on. My sisters and I are all excited.

Nora – thanks for the hugs ! I also like to believe my parents are watching over us. Shock cardio sounds great, can’t wait! Like always, great workout yesterday. The humidity is very high here in Germany, but we don’t have AC. That makes it hard.

Morning,

Ok, I went for a run outside! It was hot but still a nice breeze! I ended up doing CCV 1, went for a nice easy run, just a few sprints:p I burned 498 cal. Now I am fried! I will get a nice stretch in today, not sure if I wonna do SM or TBS? Maybe I will go for the sorter one, maybe not? I have to clean my house today, because we are leaving for Nuernberg on Saturday. We are coming back Sunday. Tomorrow is a town fest here in Grafenwoehr, DH has to go. And on Sunday we are going to Eschenbach for another town fest:p Germans love to party! My DH has to go to all these events (it's not breaking his leg either:p), to keep the German/American relationships! I do have to admit, they are always so much fun. Germans come to the American events and Americans come to the German events.

I will not be back until my house is clean:p See you later!
 
Well, I got part of my workout in this morning. I did STS disc #10. I am still supposed to do a 20 minute run. I may or may not get that in later today. All I have to say about this disc is pushups, pushups, pushups!!! I swear that every other exercise was another form of pushup!

Enough complaining though - DH and I did get a little bit more when playing hooky. We finished up a dresser we were redoing that we found at goodwill. We threw out my old dresser and someone nabbed it up off the curb in less than a half hour! What is the saying - one persons junk is another person treasure? Something like that...

Off to work!
 
Today I am supposed to do GS legs. Was under the false impression it'd only take about 30 mins. Looked at the DVD last night, floor work....my legs are tired thinking about tackling this one!

Should have gotten up and run. I woke up really early and was not able to fall asleep. Of course, the temp says 73 but 94% humidity so it feels closer to 80. It is raining now as well. Maybe we'll have some dryer air after the front moves through.

Belinda - good job with your run this morning. Glad you're doing a bit better today.

Karen - what a way to start the day PUSHUPS! I just don't have it in me to do weights first thing.

Debbie - Patti and I are working on a heavy rotation to start together. When you have time, would you mind looking this over and let us know what you think? We're both wanting to focus on one body part a day. I've only included the weights as we've decided we'll tackle the cardio and abs on our own doing whatever tickles our fancy for that day.

Week 1 - Slow & Heavy
Day 1 Biceps
Day 2 Chest
Day 3 Triceps
Day 4 Shoulders
Day 5 Back
Day 6 Legs floor work from Legs & Glutes or PLB)

Morning all!!!

Belinda - I am not sure if I'm going to do the squat rack on or the plyo one. I'd really like to trim up my legs so plyo is probably the way to go, even though I hate that kind of training. I'll see when the time comes.

Karen - I don't get what is up with all the pushups either? Cathe loves pushups. I think she goes a bit overboard with them on the STS series, though.

Heather - What else are you adding in each day? Cardio??? This actually looks like a good breakdown. I especially like how you added in the PH work with week 4. That will definitely get your muscles a bit more defined.

Good Morning,

After last nite I have decided to ditch the diet pills I didn't go to sleep until around 5:00 this morning so brain is not functioning and insomnia is one of the side effects. Tonite is suppose to be 4ds HIS step only and SM segment 1 but think I am going to do Imax 3 step no blasts and SM.

The humidity has broken a bit, instead of dewpoints of 70's, they are low 60's. And the sun is out!

Ok, keep cardio to around 2 hours a week. And keep your rotation the same. PH is perfect at the end of this rotation.

Finished PLB... the humidity might have lessened up a bit, but not enough to keep the sweat from POURING off of me during this one. Dang! It's funny, \, Stability ball legs is NOT my favorite thing to do. I haven't done them in a LONG time (pre-STS?). I was not only pitiful, but I sooooo disliked it. It HURT my booty!! But i perservered until the end, with some of my pitiful modifications, and I didn't stop.

Belinda: I can't believe you guys don't have AC there! Do you do your workouts in this humidity ALL the time or do you go to the gym to do them? ... Hope you enjoy your trip this weekend, and start to feel better ... I'm so sure your mom would not want you to be so sad and down!! .... The Jillian workout I did yesterday was "Burn Fat Boost Metabolism". It's 50+ minutes of cardio, she does 2 "circuits" of about 4 different cardio moves. (Like kickboxing punches and kicks. Or mountain climbers :)eek:) and Jumping jacks, etc). She also does some ab/core circuits, but keeps the cardio factor in it. It was really good, except those girls DO NOT sweat or BREATH heavy! :eek:.... Your run today sounds good! (I'm jealous!) , and you'll be upping the cardio with housecleaning too!

Heather: I'm sure you will get something good in today! GSL is very daunting in length. PLB was pretty good... "only" 50+ minutes!

Karen: Ugh, those push-ups! Even in Cathe's other workouts (MM, ME) she still pushes those push-ups! I think that HAS to be her favorite move!

Roxie: Good move on ditching those diet pills, they sound like they are causing you more trouble than they are worth... Either HIS or IM3 , should be a fun workout tonight!!

Debbie: are you still "resting/recovering"? How's it going and how are you feeling?

boys are fighting...oh my... as much as I don't want the summer to be over, I do want school to start!
 
Chris - Today is my last rest day. I feel great and ready to start STS tomorrow. My knee pain has subsided, although every now and again I get a shooting pain. WTH can it be? It's weird. But it's much better then it was.
 
Bev-I wish it were just cramps that I get every month I could deal with those but for me the pain is lower I say its like having a baby every month that is where the pain is, and it just wipes me out but I know when I start taking the pill again it will get better.
 
Ok guys - needing some major motivation today. I am scheduled for GS legs (I'm assuming that includes the floor work as well). I noticed that there are 2 timesaver premixes. Can anyone recall what is left out? Should I suck it up and do the whole thing or standing only and do the floor work later (like Sat)?

Roxie/Debbie - Thanks guys. I have decided that I am just going to take today as a rest day and get back to it tomorrow. If I'm going to do that whole blasted thing, I want to get everything out of it I can! LOL. I had better be sore come Sat morning :eek:
