Good morning,

I will do cardio today! My plan is to go to the gym, not sure if they open due to the snow. Oh boy, do we have lots of that white stuff:confused:

DH is doing M1D1 right now:p Hope he likes it?

I will be back to report my workout! Have a great day!

So today was suppose to be cardio but last night when I went to bed I had a hellacious headache. Woke up with the same hellacious headache. I went downstairs and watched GH in hopes it would ease up and I could do my workout. Nope. So I went back to bed for an hour and now I'm feeling guilty about not plugging through.

Maybe when I get home from work I'll hop on my treadmill and do a short Cardio Coach. I just know that when I get home from work I have no desire to workout. So we shall see. I hate when this happens.

Hi ladies. Last night I made it to the gym and ran for about 15 mins before spin class. It was a tough leg workout let me tell you. Ouch. We got off the bikes twice to do static squats for 1 min.

Chris - the temps have just plummeted here and we had snow yesterday. It was gone by noon in the central part of the state. Supposed to get more Wed night into Thurs with temps in single digits. Not fun. I think 70 is chilly.

Wendy - Can't believe you're almost done with STS too!

Debbie - don't stress, maybe just a short cardio after work will give you a boost of energy for the evening. I wish I could get up and workout in the mornings b/c lately I've just lost all oomph come 4pm. However, if I just get going, then I get a 2nd wind.

Nora - great workout yesterday (as usual)!

Hi to Roxie and Belinda!

Hey Everyone!!

I think I may take a little break from Shock Cardio today. Since I'm starting a rotation with them next week, I don't want to get sick of them THIS week. I'm always going to keep the option open to use other cardio too. I can see myself getting bored with the same stuff, ya know?

So, today I'm feeling Turbo Jam-ish, just got to pick one out! It's funny the power of those infomercials too. I was watching one on Turbo Jam this weekend, and it made me want to do them. Showing all those tight flat abs!!!

It's so quiet, the boys are off to school. Greg took down the boxes from the attic, so I can start to put the Christmas stuff away today. And I have to go to the grocery store (of course). ....

Belinda: Hope you have a fun cardio! Should be interesting to see if your DH likes STS. Mine is put off by it because of the Stability Ball stuff mostly.

Debbie: I feel for ya on the headache. AND on not wanting to work out when you get home. It's ok to miss a day! You work so hard all the other ones!

Heather: OMG, 70 is cold there? Your legs are getting such a workout from that spinning stuff, you must feel incredible! How's your mentality about working out lately? Any better with the spin classes and the new Shock Cardio?

Nora: FanTAStic work yesterday! You are doing great on P90X!! You';re really liking it then? No boredom with the workouts yet? I really thought I'd like to do it too, but the boredom factor really turns me off. And the fact that I can't do pull ups and push ups that great. And to tell you the truth, I don't have that desire to DO them. And there are a ton in these workouts, aren't there?

Hey to Roxie and Wendy!!!

Good Morning,

I didn't get a workout in last night when I got home from work I developed a kink in my neck I can't hardly turn my head to the left don't know what caused it. I had a hard time sleeping last night it hurt to move. I am hoping to get some kind of workout in suppose to be Shred Level 1 again but I might just do a cardio.

Debbie-sorry to hear about the headache I know how that feels.

Heather-we are expecting more snow tomarrow and the temps here are in the negatives at night and single digits during the day with cold wind chills.

Belinda-don't you just hate the white stuff?

Chris - it's not that 70 is considered cold, it's just that I consider 70 to be a wee bit chilly. I'd much prefer 80 degrees all year! I'm a wimp.

My mental workout state has improved a little bit. It was so much easier over the last 2 weeks when I had extra time off and the option to workout during the day rather than having to wait until after work. I used to look forward to workouts after work (extra energy), but now I feel like I have no down time ever. Work at 7am, workout right after, then rush to get dinner done before it gets too late, then bed. I maybe sit on the couch for an hour. Oh, and cramming in chores in between. After a while, it's just totally worn me down I think.

Hey to Roxie and Wendy!!!

Hallo,

I am back from my PT! I did my core/back exerices than I had a massage afterwards:p Felt good! I will take a little rest, when DH cames home from work I will go the gym.

Roxie, sounds like we having the same weather:( I am sick of snow and the cold. Sounds like you need a massage too:p Hope you feel better, hate when I have a pinch in the neck.

Chris, I hear you on getting burned out on SC. Have fun with Turbo Jam today. DH liked STS, not sure if he can keep up with it. He travels alot:eek:

Heather, sounds like you had a killer leg workout at the gym yesterday:p How are you legs today? WTG, girl!

Debbie, sorry about your headache, hope it goes away soon! ((((HUGS)))

I will be back to report my workout, see you later:eek:

Belinda - I was kind of wondering if the rotation I'm doing now wasn't good for you right now. I hope you have great success with STS!!!

Wendy - Yes, this is a rotation I have done several times. I love it. Chad Waterbury has many many rotations. This one is my most favorite.

Chris - I would have had great results with P90X if my eating would have been under control. With the holidays around it was just too hard to eat right. I'm back on track now, though.

Roxie - Thanks for the kudos the other day when I did abs with my leg workout. I worked them yesterday and they are actually sore today!

Heather - Are you following the rotation I sent you or did you decide to do something different?

Headache is gone. Hope I can muster up some energy to do a quick cardio workout when I get home.

Debbie-forgot to tell you great job on the ab work yesterday I read that. Glad to hear your headache is going away now if I could just make my neck quit hurting and it doesn't help that we are undergoing and inspection here at work for the next 2 days.

Why does your neck hurt??? Maybe try icing it when you get home.

Belinda - my legs aren't sore so much as heavy today.

Debbie - I am going to do the same rotation. I did the 1st one on Sunday and will do the next one tomorrow rather than today as I'll be heading to the gym anyway, plus my legs are really heavy today.

The only problem is not being able to safely do the decline presses. I checked the benches at the gym yesterday and the only one that declines with a place to put your feet is not beneath a barbell rack. Figures. I could do dumbbells after spin when DH could spot me though. Oh, and they took away the squat machine I have seen that is used for hack squats. Instead they have a standing machine. I think that the positioning of feet all the way to the front and only shoulders on the back will give me the right position, not sure though. Darn darn darn.

Checking in -

Disc 33 done! I feel pumped!
I've got to get in the shower before work. Then I'll get about 4-5hrs of sleep tonight - we're flying to Disneyland in the morning. Yah! I'll check back this weekend. Have a great week, ladies!
Debbie - I thought his name was familiar. I googled him and found that he was on t-nation and that's where I must've seen his name. Good for you - hope you enjoy it again!
Bye girls!

Hi girls,

I am finally done with my workout. I did CCV7, love that one!:p Can't believe we left the gym at 8:15 pm, that's late for me! Glad I still got it in!

Debbie, I will definatly do your rotation after my back is better. I hope I make it through STS this time!

Wendy, wow you almost done with STS! WTG, girl!

Heather, hope you get DOMS tomorrow!:p

Nora, enjoy whatever workout you do today!

I will see you all in the morning! Good night!

Ok, ended up doing MMA Fusion just up to the 1st core conditioning. Next time I'll wear gloves. Really not an intense workout, but fun. I also did just the drills (no warmup) from HiiT 40/20 and Weights/Plates (weights only) abs.

I'm still sort of on the fence with these new workouts. HiiT is awesome, but so short. The MMA DVDs are fun, but such low intensity (and still short). I think that these were more designed for people wanting shorter cardio workouts. I mean, they aren't for beginners by any means, but they aren't high calorie burners for sure. Maybe it's just me????

Belinda - I'm feelin' the love from you about the DOMS! LOL

Good Evening,

I just finished 30 Day Shred level 1.
