I took a rest day yesterday:) Not sure what happend on Thursday, whatever it was I hope it's gone! Maybe you girls are right and I didnt eat enought? Today I will try to do D6!

I will be back for personals and to report my workout!

Hey Everyone...

Saturday Saturday! I really have to try to get a workout in today, since I ate crappy yesterday. I just got in this mood where I HAD to eat. I couldn't really shake it either. I did try to pick healthier choices, but in the end, it wasn't pretty.

Saturdays are SOOOO hard though! 30 minutes, I can do it! Will either do KCM's Cardio Blast Step or Turbo Jam Fat Blaster. It's ONLY 30 minutes, right????

And , OMG, the DOMS from GS Chest and Triceps are KILLEr this morning!

Nora and Wendy: NICE workouts yesterday! You will inspire me to get mine in today!!!

Belinda I hope you get a great workout in today with no light headedness. Hopefully Debbie was right and you can be careful not to let that happen again!
Chris - unfortunately I know exactly what you mean about a bad eating day. I hope you have a good weekend and get a little workout in.
I'm going to head upstairs and do.....??? A new SC, I'm pretty sure. I have 3 basketball games to cheer for today. I'll try to check back in later.

Today I tried the MMA Boxing workout from Cathe's Shock Cardio, it's the only I got. It was ok - I liked the upper body stuff but not the lower body stuff.

It has three upper body punching drills which I liked and three lower body drills which I didn't like at all. All she did was jump back and forth, side to side, did some jump ropes and ski hops. I was really hoping for some good kicking drills. I don't like all that jumping on my toes. It got my HR up pretty good, though. All in all though, I'll probably use this quite often for my Saturday workouts because it's shorter. I also want to try the ab work, it looks good.

I also lost 1.8# this week so I'm happy about that! Hope it continues. :eek:

Debbie, your weights are amazing! WTG!I think you and Heather are right about my blood sugar? Did you ever experiance anything like this before? I think I need to up my cal intake, maybe I am not eating enought. On Thursday I only had oats/w walnuts for breakfast, lunch was a spinach/fata chease and walnuts, dosen/t sound like a lot! I will remember to eat a banana on cardio days! Thanks! Nice job with you MMA boxing wo today.

Hi ladies. Still feeling a bit cruddy. Major sinus headache/pressure. I have not taken a Claritin D today though, tired of feeling all out of sorts from it and not being able to sleep. I did just take some daytime something or other. We'll see how I'm feeling when it starts to kick in.

I almost didn't do anything at all today, but made myself do the weights and once I got going I actually felt better. Also did Step Moves. I've really been wanting to try that one. It was fun, super dancy.

Weight Bench Tricep Dips - 30 (up 10, prob could have done 40)

Leg Extensions - I did elevated lunges since I was at home at 60# (up 10 from last week)

Belinda - glad to hear you're back to normal. I have had my blood sugar bottom out like that and completely passed out cold. So glad you didn't get hurt!!

Debbie - sorry you didn't enjoy that workout as much. I am going to add 1# gloves the next time I try it.

I just had an awesome fun and sweat worthy workouts. I love kickboxing and just tried out Tracey Staehle's Cardio Kickbox Challenge, its da bomb!:eek::D I love it, its official!

Here's today's workouts:

P90X KenpoX= 56 Minutes
Calories burned= 535
Love this one from P90X!

and

Cardio Kickbox Challenge-30 Min Premix= 30 Min
Calories burned= 287
This was soo much fun, you can't help but love it and sweat buckets! This is a must have for those that love kickboxing workouts like I do! Sadly, I didn't have a lot of gas in the tank after doing KenpoX so I opted to try out Cardio Kickbox Challenge knowing I could muster up the energy for another 30 minutes, so I did. This workout is a keeper and I'm loving the premixes on it time wise.
Total calories burned from today's workouts= 822!!:eek::D I love that!

Ok, ladies that's it for me today and tomorrow is my rest day. I'm happy I've survived or completed 7 weeks of P90X so far. Starting Monday will be week 8 which is my recovery week. So, its mostly cardio and stretching which will be nice but I think I'll try to squeeze in some of the Shock Cardio dvds I have and the full version of Cardio Kickbox Challenge.

Hi girls!

Funny enough, Heather, I did Step Moves also. I thought it was pretty good. I'm not a huge Rhythmic Step fan so I liked it about as much as I thought I would. I did it on an 8in step. But so nice to have some variety in the cardio dept!
Roxie - totally rocked it with the workout. That was about 90 min! Sweet! Did it totally wipe you out? Hope you feel great! Good for you.
Nora - Kenpo is a great workout! I BET you didn't have much gas in your tank after that - but you tacked on more?!?! Animal!
Debbie -I haven't done the MMA Boxing yet. Hm....but there's abs on there, too? Cool.
Belind - glad your workout went a little better today. Listen to your body!
Chris - I hope you got a little something in today. I know doing something can almost always lift our spirits.
DD's did great at their games today. Going over to a neighbor's house now for fun and games...good times....
