Good morning,

Today I will do a full body workout; I am trying to figure out how to fit B&G in my FB workout? LOL! Maybe I will come up with something soon, lol!

Nora, nice cal burn on P90X Plyometrics! I like Muscle Max…Premix #1 Upper Body Only (42 min), nice mix! I have a lot of fun doing Cathe’s premixes, they different and fun!

Debbie, glad your back is feeling better.

Wendy, nice mix of cardio yesterday. How are you feeling?

Roxie, BM2 is a lot of fun. Hang in there!
 
Today was Kenpo X. Had a good workout, did pretty well with it, I am still worried a bit about my back and this workout has a lot of twisting and turning. I was careful and did well. Wore my 1# weighted gloves. Didn't really sweat much, though. Not sure why?

HR STATS:
60 minutes total
18 minutes below zone
20 minutes in zone
23 minutes above zone
428 calories burned


The highest my HR got was 148 bpm.

I love this workout!
 
Hi everyone!!! While we don't have any snow, it's only 30 degrees right now! Makes for a brisk 3-block walk to work. I look like Rudolph!

Today will be a short run and spin after work. I sure wish I could do my workout at their noon class. I don't know how people can do that though. It takes way longer than an hour's lunch.

Snow day for us today! We have about 6 inches so far! :eek:

Although it is pretty and makes the Christmas tree and lights even prettier, I have to go to the dentist!! Thus have all 3 boys home , with snow boots buried in the attic, and having to drive ..ugh

I'll come back for Plyo Legs Week #1. Hope I can fit it in somehow with the boys home!

Roxie - meant to say, don't feel like a failure for last night's workout. You at least got it done right? How many people out there just wouldn't even bother! Some days we got it, some days we don't. Reminds me of something Cathe says (I think it's in PH during biceps): Some days you have it all there, some days you don't, it depends on what you ate, how you slept, what you have going on in your life...

I took the day off from work can't get out of the driveway not sure how much snow we have but it looks like alot so shoveling will be one of my workouts today the other is BM2 upper body, abs and stretch. I guess I can finish decorating for christmas and order some presents. DH is on vacation this week so I get some quality time with him to. The temps are suppose to be really cold with a bitterly cold wind chill.

Heather-thank you for the encouraging words. I just no now that I can't wait until late to workout.

Debbie-glad your back is feeling better do you want some of our snow I will send it your way.

Belinda-enjoy whatever workout you decide on.
 
Nora - How cool that your doing P90X! Wish we were on the same day and week. Hope you are enjoying it as much as I am!

Wendy - Nice job on Core Synergestics. I liked it and am looking forward to doing it again!

Roxie - Wow on the snow! We are suppose to get some today along with ice. It's raining right now and quite warm out. Weird weather! And I agree with Heather, you are not a failure!!! Look what you have accomplished in the last month. You are kicking butt. And doing something last night is definitely better then doing nothing at all. You are da bomb!!!

Belinda - What do you mean you are trying to figure out how to put B&G in your FB? What does that mean? Can I help in any way?

Chris - Wow on the snow! I'm shocked to hear about all the snowfall around. We have nothing so far!

Heather - LMAO on looking like Rudolph! Nice job getting out there despite the cold!

I am done with my workout! I did B&G, as is, minuses the abs! I also did C&W Upper body weights!

Debbie, thanks you so much! I couldn't figure out how to get B&G plus UB in, without overdoing it! I ended up doing the entired B&G:rolleyes: even the premixes are long:rolleyes: Maybe next tiem if I do B&G, I will do 2 full body workout and 1 LB workouts, I think that would work, right?

Wow - it's definitely winter, huh?!?! Lots of snow and cold temps! BRRR! I've been standing outside with the kids for the bus the last 2 mornings with temps in the teens! Cold for here. No snow yet...maybe by Christmas...
Belinda - yeah, I was trying to figure somthing out for you to incorporate B&G. But with the shortest premix on that DVD at 49 min, it would wind up being a long workout if you also did UB. Sounds like you got somthing figured out. And it looks like the standing toning on B&G is 30 min and the floorwork is 34...maybe you could divide the Lower Body into those two groups one week..??
I finally did the last disc in Meso 2! You know, I'd figured I would just be too fatiued for heavy weights - especially barbell rows. But I looked at the work card and she had pullovers instead of rows. I don't know why, that got me over my mental block and I decided I could do it. I did - and had a really good workout. Used heavy weights and it felt great. I tacked on 35 minutes on the bike. All good!

I'm running late tonight and rushing to get in my check in for today. Sorry, no time for personals, but I will say that you all are awesome working out today. I know that I have my not so great workout days where my goal is just to get the workout done, and others days I'm on target and in the zone. I'm sure we all have days like that I know I certainly do. After all we are real people and not robots so no worries. We do the best we can on any given day, and that's all any of us can do. Tomorrow might be your on and in the zone workout day, so none of us should beat ourselves up about it. We rock just getting the workout in and somedays that may not be possible if you can't workout or have an injury or illness. Just do the best you can and forget about all that other negative self talk. Its something I have to work on every day. You all rock and are awesome, its a fact, just accept it and smile. ;)

here's today's workout for me:

Low Max Premix #3 All Step Combos only (44 min) Plus Add 30 push ups and 200 situps/crunches.
Calories burned= 360

P90X Ab Ripper X= 16 Min
Calories burned= 98

P90X Shoulders & Arms = 59 Minutes
Calories burned = 483
