Yesterday I did Insanity. Not sure what I will do today?

I will be back with personals and to report my workouts!

Hope you all had a great Christmas! We sure did! And Santa was really good to me this year. I got a Keurig Coffee Machine - LOVE IT! And a Weslo Recumbent Bike. Haven't really used it yet, but plan to tomorrow for my cardio workout. It has 4 workout programs on it and I'm going to try one of them. It's really awesome, it even has a knob to adjust the tension. I can't wait to use it. I had all intentions of getting on it for about a half hour after my workout this morning but I'm wiped out. This was definitely a puke status workout.

Today was Chest and Triceps. Straight sets today. Like I said, it was a puke status workout.

1 minute rest between each set. 3 minutes rest between chest & tri's exercises.

WARMUP
Incline Barbell Press - 65#/12 reps - 2 sets

CHEST
Incline Barbell Press - 85#/8 reps - 3 sets (up 5#)

Flat Bench Dumbbell Press - 37's/10 reps - 3 sets (up 2#)
***Wow, this one was tough. The last few sets were really hard.

Incline Dumbbell Flyes - 27's/12 reps - 3 sets (up 2#)

Toes on Stability Ball Pushups - 20/17/12 reps
***As you can see by the last set I was fried.

TRICEPS
Overhead Dumbbell Extension - 37#/8 reps - 3 sets (up 2#)
***Did this slowly and felt it really good.

Lying EZ Curl Bar Extensions - 50#/10 reps - 1 set
Lying EZ Curl Bar Extensions - 50#/8 reps - 1 set
Lying EZ Curl Bar Extensions - 45#/10 reps - 1 set
***Ok, I give up on the 50#. I just could not do all three sets at this weight and had a hard time last time as well. Dropped it to 45# and that was perfect.

Weighted Bench Dips - 55#/12 reps - 3 sets (up 10#)

Seasaw Pushups - 11 reps - 1 set
Seasaw Pushups - 12 reps - 2 sets

I'm off from work all week this week. My boss decided to not do an issue for the 1st week in January because it's usually a break-even issue. So he actually gave us this week off with pay. :eek: I know I'll enjoy the time off!

I am suppose to do CTX Power Circuit cardio today an the rest of the week is all CTX and I really don't like these workouts so what do all of you suggest to replace some of these workouts?

Today I did the upper body premix from STS Total Body. It's supposed to be my rest week, but I've been itching to try this one out. And 65% of 1RM with those reps and her speed???? CRAZY

This workout flew by and only took 24 minutes. Gotta love that!

I think I'll do the first 3 combos + abs from LIC after work.

Debbie - congrats on being off all week!!!

Roxie - I don't have CTX so I don't have any suggestions. Are they higher reps?

Heather-its mainly cardio. I will do Leaner Legs Saturday and BM2 Upper Body on Friday.
 
Debbi-if you get back on can you take a look at Dec 09 rotation and tell me where is a good place to sub in High Reps and STS.

Sorry to report no workouts today, I took an unscheduled day off. I did plan to workout today but I'll just wind up playing catchup the rest of the week being one day behind on my workout calendar. I bought the movie "Eclipse" from the Twilght saga and watched Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse in order. So, I got my Edward Cullen fix, LOL!! I've read all four of the books and had to have the movies as they've been released on DVD. I can't wait for Breaking Dawn movie, that was my favorite of the four books.

I promise to be back tomorrow to check in with today's workout then. Good night girls, seeya all tomorrow.

I was ready to quit Insanity today:confused: DD wanted to do it! Instead doing Insanity at night (been doing it off and on) I did it early in the morning, I felt much better. Santa was really good to me too. I got a Coach purse from DD and a Fossle purse from DS! I love purses! DH will buy me Cathe's future workouts, lol! DH and I will buy a TM & an ellepctial as soon as we are in the states next year, that's what I really wanted for x-mas! I really didn't needed much since I always buy what I need, lol. I also got a Homedics bubble spa luxury footbath with heat, I guess it comes in handy with Insanity, lol!Those tired old feet! DD also got me cloth from Ann Taylor.

Nora - have fun with your new books and DVD's! I know, You will catch up tomorrow.

Roxie - glad you enjoy the Dec rotaiton!

Heather - wtg, on STS TB today. Still haven't done that one.

Debbei- glad you had a really nice Christmas. Nice boss! I want one of those coffee makers, my friend has one and I loves it! BTW, your weights are amazing! I agree, had a puke status workout this morning too, lol! Have fun with your bike tomorrow!
