Morning,

Getting ready for my doc. appt.! I have a busy day ahead; hope I will fit my full body workout in today. Has to be a short one!

Today was yoga and I did Yoga X. Had a good workout and worked up a pretty good sweat. I did all the vinysa's in this one, did the first hour and then quit. The right side of my low back is still bothering me a little. Feels like something is out of wack. The up-dogs helps that and it feels better now.
 
Hi ladies. Well, I had intended on just doing biceps and triceps from PUB at the gym. I got going though and just did the whole blasted workout. My shoulders and biceps are sore this morning. My chest and back, not so much. I put on Black Eyed Peas, secured my little space and got to it. It was nice having a mirror to watch my form and it was REALLY nice having music that I enjoy to listen to. I really over did it though and went and did spin. My quads are sore and that's fine, but it was really way way way too much exercise. I thought I was going to eat my steering wheel driving home. Not good at all! Not smart I know.

I am debating on doing PLB at the gym today then spin and abs tomorrow. Or taking today off and doing legs tomorrow. But the spin tomorrow might be fun b/c of the instructor. It's short and intense. DH really wants to go so that says a lot.

I'm just going to listen to my body throughout the day and decide later on.

Wendy - I just marched my butt to the store and bought my own 35#. You should have seen the look on people's faces when I was carrying them to the counter and then to the car. LOL.

Debbie - hope your back eases up today. Maybe you just slept funny?

Suppose to do GS Legs Premix #2 49 min but I think I am going to do Premix #1 33 min instead.

Heather-I thin you need to rest those legs and to funny about the wts.

Well, DH had to get his hair cut at lunch today (we have a fancy schmancy party to go to tomorrow) so I went home and did my leg workout. I just did the standing portion of PUB sans DVD and added on weighted calf raises, narrow stance static lunges, and donkey kicks with 5 lb (what Cathe calls pizza presses). I'm glad I was able to do that. Now I have the afternoon free to run some errands and do my nails for tomorrow (and try to figure out what to do with my hair). It was oddly nice doing that workout without the DVD. I felt like I actually concentrated on the moves much more.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a great day!
 
Wendy-my boss lady went out of town yesterday and boss man was upstairs doing paperwork I was on the sales floor alone so it allowed me to do the situps and no one knew it.
 
Hi girls -

Well I'm in between Christmas parties at school. I had to come home and eat. You know, you are willing to volunteer for an hour, and next thing you know it's 2 1/2 hours later! Yikes! One of the kids was gonna lose their gingerbread house if I didn't get home to eat. I need to get back in about 45 minutes.
I will do Plyo later after DH wakes up. Otherwise this metal thing hanging on our bedroom wall will rattle and wake him up!
Roxie - kudos to you for getting it done! I think that's awesome to take any free opportunity at work to do something like that. Works out perfectly, eh? Good for you!
Heather - good job for squeezing in your lower body workout at lunch. I hope you guys have fun at your party tomorrow. And I can just picture the look on peoples faces when you are carrying those big old 35#s!
Debbie - sounds like you're taking it easy on your back. And stretching is always so rewarding. I hope you have a great day.
Belinda - I hope you are having a great workout. Thanks for the "eat clean!" reminder. Always so nice to hear encouragement. I thought of that as I was snitching graham crackers and icing today at school......I'm home now, I'm safe!

Hey Girls...

Got the Walmart thing done early, which also was a Liquor Store thing, and then a grocery store thing! It is SOOOOO cold out today. High is like 20, and then there's this ICEY breeze, making it feel like it's negative numbers. And my 14 yr old wants to deliver his papers in his wimpy sweat shirt. (and I get the teen attitude, "Get over it mom". ). I can't even talk to him!

After much (internal) debate with myself , I ended up doing KCM's Cardio (I almost typed CARDIAC!) Blast: Athletic Step. Weird thing is, that it got my heart rate UP there, and I found it challenging in spots, where I remembeI r the first time, i thought it was kind of wimp-ish. Maybe because it was the first time and I didn't put my all into it? It's weird how different cardios can be different for me depending on who-knows-what.

I wanted to do a short abs, so I randomly picked MIS Abs, which was ALL about crunches! OW! and then I thought of you, Roxie, with your 200 crunches! there's definitely at LEAST 200 crunches in this ab workout. So I guess it's not THAT far fetched! LOL!

Belinda: I totally understand busy! Today has gotten away from me!

Heather: Cool you got to do the Pyramids in the gym. And with music. That's a hard transition! ... Sounds like you could use a lower key workout today or a rest. But somehow, I think you won't ;)

Debbie: YAY for Yoga! Not sure if I could do it for that long though.

Roxie: Have fun with GS legs!!! (is fun the right word?)

Wendy: I know you will enjoy Plyo legs today! Always a butt kicker (for me!)

Nora: Hope you feel better today and get in a good workout!

I'm feeling better today, thank goodness. I did workout today.

here's today's workout:

Baron Baptiste Soul of Strength Power Vinyasa Yoga= 60 Minutes
Calories burned= 246
Some of the poses were hard but it was nice that there were lots of different levels and lots of modifications in the live class that this dvd had, thank goodness for that because I needed some of those modifications.

Core Cuts- #1 Standing Med Ball Abs= 12 Min
Calories burned= 74
I really like the intensity of med ball abs so this was fun.

Total Calories burned from today's workout= 322
