Hey Girls!!

On day 2 of recovery week, i think I may go for a run. My calf has been fine, and I got a new subscription to Runners World yesterday and am PUMPED to get out to run! Maybe I'll do a little cardio at home first... thinking about it!

My legs are fairly fried from weights on Sun then spin last night. Not sure if I'll get any cardio done or just take a rest day. We'll see how I feel towards the end of the day. Sometimes it's good to do something to keep the legs loose.

Good Morning,

I am feeling much better today head isn't as stuffed and it doesn't hurt as much to swallow. Tonite will be either Ellen Barretts Yogini or Fat Burning Pilates. I am down to 116.6lbs but body fat is 31.6% so not feeling great about that one. Measurements haven't changed either.

Debbie-are you still thinking about doing a December Rotation?

Belinda-Happy Anniversary have fun today.

Chris-I have all of KCMs new ones and two of her other 30 min. ones thinking about doing those next month.

Heather-have fun doing whatever today.
 
Rest day for me today. Back is doing ok but still a bit fussy. :( Not sure I'll be able to workout tomorrow either. This sucks, I have no clue what to do now. Next week is recovery week but I'm thinking I'll be finishing this week's workouts. :mad: I slept well with no pain but when I walk a certain way I can feel the strain. Took some more Aleve and have been icing it.

Roxie - No, I haven't had one minute of free time to sit down and make one up. I'm sorry! :(

I just checked out Cathes Dec Rotation and I think I will do it but instead of the 200 situps/crunches I will do some other ab work sounds to hard on the back and not any lower ab work. I was going to do KCMs because they were shorter workouts but this one has shorter workouts to.

Today was a cardio day for me. And like Roxie, I checked Cathe's December rotation and thought, "Drill Max - good idea!" I did the Scrambled Cardio premix instead - it's a little bit longer. And I did 200 reps varying ab work and 35 pushups (in between trying to do my younger DDs hair for school). Had a great workout! And I did NOT have cheese and crackers last night before bed - Yay me!
Roxie - glad you're feeling a bit better. I have KCM up next on Netflix - looking forward to giving her workouts a try.
Belinda - have and awesome day with your husband!
Heather - maybe just some floor work from B&G or something? And a nice long stretch!
Chris - I hope if you decide to run, your calf doesn't give you ANY trouble! I'm getting ready to start my last week of Meso 2 - and I can't wait to be done with heavy legs and go to PLYO!!!!
Debbie - so close to a rest week! Don't push it with your back. Maybe take a couple of days off, finish your cycle, then shorten your rest week??? Hey, are you still growing out your hair?

Hi Girls!;)

Well, P90X arrived yesterday! So, I had a revelation when I saw Cathe's December '09 rotation she just posted earlier today. I came up with the idea of combining Cathe's December '09 Rotation with P90X. So, I gave it a try today.

Here's today's workout:

Drill Max-Timesaver Cardio Blast= 39 Minutes
Calories burned= 426
Plus 30 pushups as per Cathe's Dec '09 Rotation.

P90X Chest & Back = 53 Min Approx.
calories burned= 362
I had to use push up stands because my wrists are weak and hurt if I do alot of push ups. I also had to use B-lines and Cathe's resistance tubing to use in place of pull ups and chin ups.

P90X Ab Ripper X= 16 Min
Calories burned= 98
I didn't like these abs as well as Cathe's STS or any of Cathe's Abs sections on her DVDs.

Overall, I thought P90X was good but not awesome like Cathe's stuff. It was good and I got it for me and my husband knowing that it would be good to get him used to working out and as a precursor to STS. For myself, I think it will be good to use with Cathe's timesaver December '09 rotation. I can't wait for STS Cardio to get here. I am a huge Cathe fan and love her stuff. I thought Tony Horton was good but the form is not as good as Cathe's. Now, to be fair this was day 1 of P90X for me, so we'll see but Cathe is a tough act to follow. ;)

Roxie- I hope your feeling better. Good job on your workout!;)

Debbie- Bummer about not working out but you need to recover and rest.

Belinda- Have a great time on your trip.

Chris- Sounds like great motivation for a great run today, I hope it was a great one.

Heather- Sounds like great workouts for you with a nice variety. If your really sore its probably better to rest and recover.

Wendy- Nice to see another person is doing Cathe's December '09. Yes, Drill Max is always good and tough, but amazing for a great calorie burn. I didn't do the Scrambled legs one like you did. Great job on your workout and enthusiasm for bumping it up to make your workout tougher. I love that!:D:)
