Crazy, Strong and Loving it for August 2014!!o

Hallo ladies,

Remember me Sorry, for not checking in, in a week. We had no internet signal at the Arch of National Park and Yellowstone Park. NONE:roll eyes: Half the time we had no phone signal either We stayed in Yellowstone Park for 6 day's, at an RV park right in the middle of Yellowstone Park. I saw 3 Black bears, one crossed in front of me That was scary! I filmed it, but the film is to big to sent? If anyone knows how to sent a 9 min film, please let me know Saw Bisons on a daily bases. I will post pic as soon as I have better internet. Today we are at Mt. Rushmore and we also saw Crazy Horse. Very interesting We did had 2 tire blow outs on our dolly(the thing that pulls my car) before St. Louis. We were stranded on the highway for almost 6 hours last Sunday. The tow truck from St. Louis never showed up and the insurance couldn't get anyone on a Sunday to pick us up in the middle of nowhere:roll eyes: I did worked out on the highway, had nothing else to do. We had food and drinks We saw the Arch in St. Louis too. Tomorrow we are leaving South Dakota, we are on at AFB. Not sure, were we are going tomorrow? DH is surprising me, I guess I am done with STS. I been doing SBF on the road, it's working quit well. And yes, I am working out while DH is driving No heavy weight lifting. I will try to check up on personals once I have more time. We almost have 6000 miles on our belt so far, every night we don't get to an RV park before 10 pm. By the time we hook everything up and eat dinner it's almost 11 -12 am before we get to bed.

It's getting late here and I am tired from running around all day long. Looks like you all doing amazing with your workouts. I will try to check in again maybe tomorrow?

I went for a 1.87 mile walk this morning leg held up well then I did some abs from Pinterest and still need to do my planks.

Belinda-sounds like a fun time.
 
Hi girls!;)

I got a late start today but didn't want that to be an excuse not to workout today, so I did it and made it a tough one. Today my oldest son ran in a half-marathon in my town so we went to that bright and early start time was at 8 am for the race. I got up at 5:25 am. Austin, my son, came in 1st in the race he ran 1:22 came in 1st place out of 202 people in the race. He won first place in the race overall, first in men's, and 1st in his age group. Very cool!!! So proud of him, although his goal was to run 1:20 or under but he still did great!:D:cool::eek::D

Here's today's workout I just now finished:

Belinda- Hey so glad to hear from you! Glad your both doing great. Wow, you have had some interesting adventures and seen cool stuff like a Bison and scary stuff too like 3 bears. I know you could do without the blow tires thing but you did great got through that and got it fixed. Have fun and be safe. get some rest. Take care and have a blessed time on your vacation!;)

Chris- Hey! How are you? Fine I hope. I caved and ordered Body Beast, I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't at that price. So I did get it, ordered it Monday and got it today, YAY!! I think I need to take a few days off or the entire next week I haven't decided yet. I plan to start the Lean Body Beast rotation after that. I'm so excited about BB!:D

Today I did Gym Style Chest & Triceps. Had a great workout, I love this one. I think Cathe and crew look the most ripped in this series. They all look so awesome!

This is what I did:

CHEST
Drop Set Push-Ups: I did all but the 12 reps. I rested there and then did the rest
Dumbbell Press: 30's - 3 sets/12 reps (last set I only hit 9 reps)
Dumbbell Flies: 20's - 3 sets/12 reps
Dumbbell Incline Press: 20's - 2 sets/12 reps
Dumbbell Incline Flies: 20's - 2 sets/12 reps

TRICEPS
Close Grip Barbell Bench Press: 45# - 2 sets/10 reps w/bonus
Dips: Skipped
Dumbbell Lying Extensions: 12's - 2 sets/8 slow reps
Seated Overhead Press: 20#- 2 sets/12 reps
Cross-Body Extension: 10# - 2 sets/12 reps
Cross-Body Extension w/Band: Skipped
Kickbacks: 8# - Skipped
Kickbacks w/Band: Skipped

Skipped the last couple due to time. Plus my triceps were screaming at me. This is one tough workout.

I just finished today's recovery workout and will check in shortly. Just has to take a minute to brag my son Austin ran in a half-marathon race in our town Saturday. He won came in 1st with a time of !:22:09. There were 202 people in the race. He won his age group, mens field and the 1st place awards. So proud of him. He was trying to run under 1:20 that was his goal but he was unchallenged. He lead the race at the half way point and held it to the end. The second place runner came in 3 minutes behind Austin. So proud of him!! Ok I'm done bragging now, sorry its a mom thing. LOL!!

I am getting so tired of this website not working right I hope they stop making changes some day. I walked on the TM for 30 minutes this morning at 2.7mph and a 3.0 incline and I still need to do my planks.

Today I did Cardio Coach #6 with Candace and did Challenges 1, 2 and 4. Last week I ran 2 miles with each workout, this week I wanted to increase it by .5 miles. I actually make almost 3 miles today - 2.8 to be exact. Happy with that. Still not running as fast as I usually do because I'm still worried about the knee, but it felt pretty good. It only hurts now when I bend it, which is weird.

Workout was a total of 46 minutes, ran 2.8 miles and burned about 384 calories.

Roxie - I agree about the website. It's getting old! How's the leg?

Nora - Great workouts yesterday! You rock it, girl!!! :)

Debbie the leg is feeling alot better might even attempt a run tomorrow but I have a small burn from and ice pack so I have been wearing a wrap on it. SNM says it's my computers fault that the website is slow even if I tell them I am using my cellphone to post.

Roxie- Hi, sorry to hear that your having issues with Cathe.com. Not sure what the issue is. If using the computer at home clean cookies, run malware scans (Download SUPERAntiSpyware - MajorGeeks and Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - MajorGeeks and Download IObit Malware Fighter - MajorGeeks) I use all of those just the free versions and have used them for a few years now with success. I know if you have any malware or spyware on your computer it can block websites or cause problems. So removing the malware or spyware can be helpful. Also be sure to run your Anti-Virus program too. Now on your phone, eh I don't know much about cell phones. I would also recommend clearing your cookies on it. My DH has a Droid and has internet on it he has to clear cookies and will need to stoop other stuff from running in the background that can make it difficult to stream or watch anything on internet it will really run slow. Advanced Task Manager, CM (Clean Master) are the ones he uses. On your phone go to internet, go to options, then settings, select privacy then select from there. DH has a Galaxy S4. Task killer he says is free has not had troubles with it. I hope all of that info helps. Good luck!

All I got done today was my planks had a bad start to the day and then had stomach issues all day so nothing else for me.

Nora-our computers are set up to defrag once a week and every time we close a browser it automatically dumps the cookies but thanks anyway. Good job with our workout today.
 
Today I did a mix of things and had a great workout. I did the Bicep work from Gym Style Back, Shoulers and Bi's and then I did the Barre part of Xtrain Legs. Then I finished up with Core #1 from XTrain. It was fun!

BICEPS:
Barbell Curls – 35# - 2 sets/10 reps
Dumbbell Partial Reps - 8's
1st set Concentration Curls - 12#
2nd set Concentration Curls - 15#
Curl Up/Reverse Downs – 12's - 10 reps

This is what I did:

Reverse Grip Dumbbell Row – 20's - 2 sets/8 reps; 20's - 1 set/12 reps
One Arm Row – 25# - 2 sets/12 reps
T-Back Squeeze w/Band - Used Tubing but didn't do all the millions of reps Cathe does
Pullovers – 25# - 2 sets/8 reps
Low Back Extensions on Step - Skipped
Low Back Rotation Tilts - Skipped

SHOULDERS:
Seated Overhead Press – 10's - 3 sets/10 reps
Standing Lateral Raises – 8's - 2 sets/10 reps

The bosses told me to stay home today due to the heat no one is getting out and about but I have to go up with my youngest DD she has to get a steroid shot in her hand and she wants me to be there she is 26 years old but still needs her mommy. I did KCM Stepboxing Kickbox Drills Premix. I will do my planks when I get home.

Once again, I got up to workout and fell asleep on my couch. I hate this getting up so early to workout anymore. I just can't do it five days a week. Makes me so mad. I go to bed early enough - 9:30 - but it still doesn't seem to be enough time. Very frustrated right now.

Roxie - You guys got the day off because it was too hot? I never heard of such a thing. Where do you live and how hot is it there? I thought you were more up north like me? That's nice they gave you the day off, though!

Nora - Enjoy your day off. I'm sure your body can use the break after all your kick @ss workouts. I would say you could add cardio with BB if you want, but I believe the program is designed that way for a reason. If you want to build, you need less cardio.
 
Hi girls:)

Good morning! No workout for me today or this weekend I plan to start BB Monday so I will rest up as best I can with that in mind. I got up at 5:15 AM (where as I usually get up at 6AM) so I could take son to flying lessons at the Art and Air Festival in town. However, we did not know that they are not doing the flying lessons until tomorrow and Sunday. We will have to try again tomorrow get there are 6:30AM to sign up early to be able to get a flight lesson in for sure, if they are full up then we'll have to try Sunday and go earlier yet. They don't start the actual flight until 10 AM. The flights are only being done from 10 AM to 2 PM both Saturday and Sunday only and no reservations so its first come first serve. Its popular thing so they fill up fast which why we have to be there so early to sign up 3 to 4 hours before hand.


Debbie- No worries your body needs rest right now, so enjoy! Thanks for your advice on BB and honoring the workout as it is laid out. I aim to do the Lean Beast rotation focusing on leaning out. This rotation only calls for one day of cardio, that just seems really tough for me to hold back and restrain myself. I will take your advice and respect the program is designed the way it is for a reason. I will really hold myself back and do the one day of cardio, perhaps add 1 additional cardio but absolutely no more than that. This will be tough for me but I will honor the program. It won't be easy for me to not do cardio six days a week. I'll hang in there and be good.

Chris, Roxie, and Belinda- I hope everyone is going to have an awesome blessed Friday and have great workouts today. Don't forget to be awesome!;):D

Debbie-I live in Kansas and its been almost 100 degrees since Monday and it doesn't look like its going to break until Wednesday of next week and I am their only employee they just didn't want to pay me rumor has it they are going to close the place.

I am home We got back late last night. It feels good to be back. We had a lot of fun on vacation. I think, I will do SBF rotation for a month or two? I need a break from heavy lifting. I did see nice definition in my UB with Cathe's bodybuilding rotation, but nothing drastic. Maybe I been doing heavy lifting for too long? It's time to switch things up. Like I said, I will do SBF for a few month, her workouts are high reps. And see what happened :eek:

I will try to catch up on personals later. Good job, on your workouts girls. BBL!
