Yesterday I did one hour yoga.

I just did CCV3 outside. I burned 450 cal., no spirnts. I did a nice, easy and sweaty run:p:eek: I do have to admit, I had a hard time not to sprints:rolleyes: It is my recovery week!

Off to enjoy the day.

Today was yoga for me. Baron Baptiste's Power into Yoga?? Something like that. I love this one. I was amazed that I could still do the crow pose. I was so excited about that! I didn't attempt the wheel pose though - my back doesn't seem as limber as it used to. Maybe next week I will try that one again. :)

Crap - accident on the freeway. Gotta run. I'll have to take the long way to work....
 
I got up and did Imax 2 this morning. DH was going for a bike ride so I was up anyway. I just fudged through the intervals. Still a good workout of course! This evening I am supposed to do GS triceps, but I will probably have to do biceps as well. We have an electrician coming over tomorrow around 4pm and I'm afraid that'll mean no electricity. I'll probably take myself over to the gym and walk on the dreadmill while he's at the house.

Belinda & Karen - good job with your workouts this morning.

Heather-maybe you should just rest that ankle so it can heal faster.
 
Roxie - Rest??? What's that???? I am trying to focus more on weights and ease up on the cardio right now. It's a huge transition to make though. I know that sounds silly maybe, but it's just retraining my brain to realize that I don't have to do so much all the time and full force.

So what are you going to do next? Another Cathe rotation?

It's KICKMAX for me today... I'm about to head down to do it. Got a lot on my 'to do' list today, but I REALLY want to kick back by the pool with my only son that's home today. I guess it gives me motivation to get my errands done.

Belinda: Take it easy! I know it's hard though.

Karen: What rotation are you doing? You're gettting some good Yoga in lately! Hope your commute isn't horrible...

Roxie: YAY for moving on soon! It's good to look forward to what's to come! Sounds like you had a fun weekend in spite of the crappy weather...

: Holy COW! You did IM2 with a hurt ankle? HOw does that work? LOL! I truly think it would heal better if you totally rested it for a few weeks. I know it's hard, but you may find it never completely heals if you are straining it continuously. You go on the bi's and tri's!!! I love working those 2 parts!

I'm still on the same series but I get to move on to the next phase and it is 3 weeks instead of 2 but it has some different moves and looks alittle more fun.

DH an I are going on Friday during the day to use up the second day pass this way we don't have to fight the crowds and the weather is suppose to be nice.

Karen, hope you all stretch out with yoga. How do you like Baron Baptiste? I enjoyed Total yoga from the flow series “Earth” with Tracy Rich & Ganga White. Hope you made it on time for work today.

Heather, great job with IMAX 2 this morning. Glad to hear you are doing better with your ankle. Have fun with your triceps and biceps tonight.

Rockie, I know you must be happy to do “ramp it up” for the last time this week, lol. Have fun!

Chris, have fun with your KB workout today. Enjoy a nice relaxing day with your son at the pool. That’s a nice way to stay cool. I am taking it easy, I do enjoy my recovery week.

Chris - I just try to stay more grounded basically. Skip some intervals if I need to, things like that. I usually go ALL OUT. So now I'm just reeling it in a lot. No trying to bound through the ceiling! LOL. I know I should be totally resting, but I really just can't. I'm just picking and choosing workouts that I can modify and that are fun still. I love doing biceps, but am starting to not really dig the triceps. Been feeling weak in that area lately so they just start to get frustrating to me. Hope you had fun with your workout!!

Roxie - At least you're dedicated is all I can say. You're sticking it out and that's awesome. Hopefully this next phase will be a lot more enjoyable for you.

I haven't figured out if I am dedicated or stupid, its like reading a boring book I just can't not finish it goes against the grain.
 
Well, it's obvious that I'm not always on the smart path myself! :eek:

At least you're willing to stick it out though. Too many people won't even bother to exercise, let alone stick with rotations and plans.

Today was supposed to be KM, but I don't own it. I do have HE, though, so I have parts of it. And since I did the leg cond. drills on Sunday, today I did: 4DS kickbox, KM blasts and KM stretch. 51 min/378 calories. I was really sweating today!

Did you do KM today too, Chris? Enjoy the pool! It's gonna be in the 90s here today, also. So we're headed out on the river with friends...good times...

Finished up with GS triceps and biceps. My arms are shaking! I doubled up on some of the exercises on biceps and tried to go heavier on triceps. I imagine I'll feel this tomorrow.

Hi ladies!:)

I just finished today's workout doing Cathe's August 2009 rotation.

Here's today's workout:

Kick Max= 73 Min.
Calories burned= 748

That's it for me today, its 100 degrees today in Oregon, I hate it when it feels like sauna, ugh!:( Needless to say I didn't feel like adding on and doing more than kick max today.

Just finished my workout got a better burn then last nite but still not great.

Stats:
48 min
30 in the zone
132 min hr
170 max hr
285 cals burned.

Wendy-still having problems with calories but some day I will figure it all out.
