CRAZY STRONG AND LOVING IT FOR APRIL 4, 2011

This morning I did Gilads Vol 1 workout which included Buttocks, Quads, Chest and Abs. It was almost 90 here yesterday and today it is suppose to barely crack 50 with 20-30mph winds.

Had no internet at home. I guess Frontier doesn't work when it rains. :mad:

Today was total body and I had a great, strong workout. Ate pretty well this weekend so that makes my Monday morning workouts that much better.

4 sets/5 reps with 1 minute rest between each set.

Underhand Barbell Row - 90#
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 100#
Squats - 120#
Stiff Leg Deadlifts - 95#
Barbell Curls then switched to Dumbbell Curls - 65#/25's
***Did 1 set of barbell curls and my elbows hurt really bad. Switched to dumbbells for last 3 sets and they were fine.
Close Grip Bench Press - 90#

Dang, I wish I knew what was going on with my elbows. Both hurt but the left one hurts more. :(

Did you see the news about the new Low Impact Series? I haven't been able to subscribe to the newsletter so I don't have any info.
 
Hi ladies! Saturday I ran 9.7 miles ( it was a gorgeous day). Yesterday I hit the gym for heavy legs and today I did upper body during lunch I did 10 minutes on the elliptical to start then did supersets of 3x5:

Assisted chinups - 60#
Underhand barbell rows - 85#

Chest flye into press - 25's

Shoulder press - 20's
Rear delt press - 15's

Dumbbell biceps curls - 20's
Concentration curls - 20/20/15 (these were super tough after the DB curls)

Double-arm overhead triceps extension - 35#
Double-arm kickbacks - 15's

I finished with another 15 minutes on the elliptical. It was a pretty good workout overall.

It's storming like crazy here with insane gusting winds. You feel like you're literally going to be blown away walking!

Roxie - I used to LOVE Gilad. I think there may be a new thread about the low impact series. I got the newsletter, but didn't read all the details. I think it mentioned something about this summer - maybe preorder?

Hi girls!;)

I forgot to check in earlier, I did finish my workout for today a few hours ago. I'm not feeling all that great, not sick just really feeling major fatigue and balance issues. Its like my MS is making its presence know, so I guess I'm feeling a little worn out. My knees have been bothering me why I don't know because I haven't injured them. I think this is my bodies way of telling me I need to take some time off from working out. I will try hard to finish this week's schedule workouts that I have paired down considerably. I will probably take next week off from working out. Oh man, I'm excited about Cathe's annoucement of an low impact workout dvd's I can't wait. I'm so pre-ordering when I can.

Here's today's workout:

P90X- Back & Bi's= 52 Min
Met Value= 6.0
Calories burned= 426

P90X Ab RipperX= 16 Min
Met Value= 5.0
Calories burned= 109

Total calories burned= 535:(

See, I paired the workout down and I still have no energy, UGh. Nothing great with today's workout. I do enjoy the weight work with P90X and getting improvement but just no energy lately. I hope everyone is doing great and going strong.

Warm up: 2 sets/12 reps
Flat BB bench press - 50#
Flat BB bench press - 50#

Workout: 4 sets/ 6 reps
Flat BB bench press - 84#, up 4#
BB rows - 84#, up 4#

Flat bench chest flys - 30#, up 2#
One Arm row - 45#, up 5#

Incline BB bench press - 88#, up 4#
BB Deadlifts - 88#, up 13#

Incline Chest flys - 30#, up 2#
One Arm row - 45#, up 5#

Nora - (((HUGS))) hope you feel better. Glad to hear you will take it easy, you been working out hard. As always, your workout today rocked. Feel better!
