Good morning ladies,

I am back from my German ENT doctor, He thinks with the mew meds everything should clear up the next few days :DHe shot some meds up my nose, now I can breath again:DHope it stays that way! I don't need surgery, what a relieve. I was so happy! The American doctor on base had me worried yesterday. I can't wait until this all clears up!

Monday I will start Meso 1 all over again:confused:I am not very happy starting all over again, hope I don't get stuck over and over in Meso 1! I will do the 6 month rotation.

I will try to take a walk with my dogs today and maybe get a stretch in!

Have a great workout and day

I've decided to change my workout a bit, instead of doing biceps and triceps on one day, I'm going to do biceps on one day and triceps another day and then do cardio with both. I can't figure out why this rotation isn't set up that way to begin with.

So today I worked my Biceps and had an excellent workout. This workout flew by.

10 minutes on treadmill for warmup

8 sets - 20 seconds on/10 seconds off each exercise

2 minutes rest between each exercise

BICEPS
Dumbbell Curls:
15's - 8 sets/8 reps
***My HR really spikes with curls for some reason. These felt good.

EZ Preacher Curls:
30# - 8 sets/8-7 reps (up 5#)
***Probably could go higher with these still. HR got up there but didn't really feel like I was struggling with this.

Curl Ups, Reverse Downs:
12's - 8 sets/6 reps (Up 2#)
***Really felt this in my forearms.

Hammer Curls:
15's - 8 sets/8-7 reps
***Last two sets were a struggle. I added these in, didn't do them last week.

Then I got on my treadmill and did Cardio Coach #1, challenge 1 & 2. I ran my ass off.

HR STATS:
60 minutes total
3 minutes below zone
36 minutes in zone
21 minutes above zone
474 calories burned
1.3 miles travelled

That is all...

Belinda - Good to hear you don't need surgery. I hear sinus surgery is horrible to go through. You will be good to go in a few days!

Good morning ladies. I did Cardio Fusion all step premix this morning. Good sweatfest which always makes me happy!

Question for all of you-does anyone have the puzzle mats in their workout room? I had a hardwood floor put in my workout room last week and it's even harder on my legs than the carpet was (that's what I get for listening to my husband). So now I'm thinking I should put those puzzle mats on top of the hardwood. I'm just wondering what they are like when it comes to doing cardio and all of the pivots in kickboxing??? I certainly don't want to make another mistake on top of the hardwood.

Belinda-so glad you don't have to have surgery. Is your stomach feeling better? You've have a rough couple of weeks!!!

Debbie-great workout as usual.

Have a good day.

Bev

36min
26min in the zone
131min HR
169max HR
213 cals burned.

Wasn't a bad workout just need to start pushing myself alittle more.

Bev-you have to watch the puzzle mats they slide apart and there are edges because the peices don't fit exactly tight so they catch your feet. Mine are on top of carpet so I don't know if that is the difference.

Today was....ahh...I blanked out.....Cardio Fusion premix 1 + Flat Abs from Squeeze DVD. I was sooo tired this morning. I swear that when my alarm went off and I hit snooze only a second went by before it went off again. I contemplated NOT getting up to workout - but I made myself get up. (lazy butt, thats what you get for going overboard on the food this weekend!) Anyway...

Bev - I have/had those puzzle mats in the basement - I'm not using them right now because of our construction down there.... They did help with making it a little easier on the knees. The only problem I had with them is that they started to slowly come apart. However, I think that was due to the way I had them setup at the time. I do plan on using them again once our basement is done. I'm still unsure though if I will just use them on the equipment side or where I do cardio...

Belinda - I'm glad that you are able to breathe again!

Hey Girls!

I'm about to head down to do DM: Timesaver Cardio Blast premix, followed by Med Ball Abs Circuit! The weather is supposed to be nice here, so I'll most likely head to the park later for a runny-poo too!

Belinda: Glad to hear your sinuses are FINALLY on the mend! What a roller coaster ride with that!...

Debbie: Nice workout today! You're stillon the tabata cycle? CC #1 is the only one I've done so far, and yes, it does kick buttockS!

Bev: Nice sweat today! I do not have puzzlemats, can't help you there, sorry!

Roxie: Those exercises are from chalene's CLX right? Have a good run!

Morning! I did Tracey Staehle's Step Sweatfest- really fun! I burned 629 calories and followed it up with segment #1 from Cathe's Total Body Stretch (I think that is what it is called).

Bev: I have the puzzle mats on our basement floor- DH dry walled it and made it all nice for me. :) Anyway, the mats are great and mine don't come apart. I have knee issues too, so I understand.

Roxie: WTG on working out this week!

Chris: Envious of your weather- rainy here. I am dying to get out for a run soon- haven't done my CC outside yet!

Belinda: Woo hoo for improvement! Are you really going to do all 8 weeks of Meso 1 again? Why not just repeat the last 2 weeks and then move on?

Karen: I hate it when I eat a ton of junk and then feel compelled to work out extra hard the next week. It sucks. But WTG on getting it done!

Gotta run and pick up DD from school.

Patti - your DH fixed up the basement for you? How nice of him! I have to help my DH with our basement! grrr.... It sucks - but at the same time its nice to know that I had a hand in the work...even if it was horrid! If only it were done...

Checking in -
Did a Cardio/Wgt premix from SJ&P. 46min Good workout. Gotta run! Have a great day, ladies............YAH Belinda!

Patti-do you know what kind of puzzle mats you got??? You should see the great cabinets that I got at Ikea to store my workouts and all of my other stuff! You really need to go there if you plan to do that. I just have to hang some things on the walls and then I'll take some pictures so you can see them.

Bev

Bev: I'll ask DH tonight about the type of mats and if he did anything to prevent them slipping. Thanks for the IKEA tip- we definitely need to get there.

;);)Good evening Ladies!;)

I decided to try something different today.
Today's workout:

Cardio Coach Vol. 8 warm up only- 4:37 BPM= 117-130=65-73% MHR
Cardio Coach Vol. 8 Instrumental Challenge 2=18:45 BPM=151= 83% MHR
Calories burned= 311
Distance=2.15 miles.
Wow~! that was fun. I love the music it just makes you want to keep going and I did. LOL~~I had to hear Coach Sean's voice so I wanted to do the Warmup from Vol. 8 with his voice on it. Then I did the Vol.8 Challenge 2 instrumental and it rocked! So much fun. I'm so relieved that I can run with a knee brace on, that helps so much. I didn't go as long a run as usual but I wanted to try this particular Vol. 8 warm up and Challenge 2 and then still have some energy left for Cardio Fusion.

Cardio Fusion= All Step premix=48 min
Calories burned= 426

4DS-Kickbox ABs= 10 min
Calories burned= 55

That's it for me today, I'm trying to get over this sinus infection/cold. I hate those!

Belinda- So happy to hear you can breathe, that's awesome! Hugs!!!

Debbie- Awesome workout as usual.;)

Roxie- Nice workout! :)

Karen, Bev, good job today ladies. I know its tough to workout. I have to make myself do it, but I'm always glad I did afterwards though.

About the puzzle mats, I don't have those. I have a carpeted spare bedroom that I have taken over as my workout room with all my workout stuff. I haven't tried Puzzle mats. I know that there is some issue with doing STS plates with them. I use paperplates/Frisbees.

Take care and keep on working' out and getting even more fabulous!;)

Hugs!:)
