Crazy... I Know, but....

Lately I have been obsessed over eating and exercising. I feel like eating all the time, hungry or not, and I am always exercising. I have always worked out in the morning for an hour every day for about the last 15+ years. I am not overweight or super thin. I have no aspirations to be that way either. I just love to eat and I enjoy moving my body. The morning workout is the one I count every day and everthing above that is just a bonus. I usually walk at least 2 miles a day & play tennis at least one night a week in addition to my morning workout. Sometimes I feel like I should be laying around more but, for starters... it is not my personality and also I like the way moving makes me feel. Plus, then I can indulge my eating! Anyone else have this problem?

The only craziness is feeling guilty for being energetic, enjoying exercise and having lusty appetites for life!

My problem is that with my "day job" I don't get to move around nearly as much as I'd like to, "exercise" or not; if my schedule permitted I'd probably do pretty much what you do!

ENJOY YOURSELF!

Totally!!!

I like to move just to MOVE. When I got my desk job I started getting chronic back pain. Well, after some time doing Cathe workouts the pain subsided, BUT if I sit for a long time or am relatively inactive, it still comes back to some degree. I have just come to the conclusion that as long as I keep a sedentary job my body will ache somewhat. It just does not like it!! And I am in awe of all my friends who don't work out, sit all day..even through their lunch breaks..and their bodies never complain!!!
My hubby thinks i am crazy. On the weekends he wants to eat out, so I will say, Well...lets walk to the restaurant. His eyes just get HUGE!! I always have to go "Can't you walk just to walk??" Everything does not have to be a workout, but to just enjoy being active and being outside??
I am so wacky that I actually daydream about selling me vehicle and walking, rollerblading, or biking EVERYWHERE!!!But I live in a big city, so that really is not feasable at all times. I am excited currently to discover how i can make 5 miles of the 10 mile trip to work via hiking trails...people think I am insane. We have canals here..I can get about half way to work that way, but not all the way. Pisses me off..
SO, you are not the only one...
