Costume party/ DH prob won't want to go.

My DH and I were invited to a friend's birthday/halloween costume party on the 22nd. I'm going to go as Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. I'm so excited. I haven't dressed up in YEARS. I just got the email today so DH doesn't know yet. I know he won't want to go because he won't want to dress up. He can be a party pooper sometimes with things like this. Is it wrong if I go without him? Although I can almost bet if I say "Well I'm going to go anyway" he'll go too.

I'm off to look for rubby slippers and blue bows

You'll have to ask him how he feels about you going without him. Maybe you can come up with a compromise. But no matter what any of our opinions are here, what matters is your relationship with your DH.

Tell him how much you'd like to go and maybe you'll be able to sway him to go.

I would go without him. Why curtail your fun just because he isn't into it?

I am going to a Halloween party and I am going to have my sister make up one side of my face beautifully, then put blood and guts on the other side. Maybe with an eyeball hanging out of the socket. FUN!
