Core Synergistics--I'm so confused!

I tried this for the first time on my "core day" Xmas day. I thought it was an abs workout. It's not.

Serves me right for not previewing LOL.

So, is it a circuit workout? Is it a core workout? WTH is it? My obliques were pretty sore yesterday but nothing in the abs.......I'm trying to figure out how the heck to incorporate this into my workout on the appropriate day.

It is a functional fitness w/ Core focus workout... I fully engaged core the entire time 3 days ago - it was my 4th time doing it....what a difference! My abs 7 core region is still sore today.
 
Previewing? What's that?

If I had to "categorize" this workout, I'd call it a total body workout. It's not really a circuit. As Tony says in the beginning it is a "core" workout--it works the major muscles in your abs, chest & back.

I like this workout for those days when I don't really want anything SUPER heavy but want to feel like I've worked out. My heart rate doesn't get super elevated but does get up there & I always sweat like a pig.
 
For what it's worth I liked the workout. I'm just not sure where it should go in my routine.

Oh & those banana rolls--fuggetaboutit! Who in god's name has the room for those things? I tried modifying & going side to side instead of what basically would've been across my entire LR, but the tree, the grandfather clock, the dog's crate, my sofa & my coffee table all kept getting in the way.

Do I just need to clear out my entire freakin LR so I can do a couple stinkin banana rolls? x(
 
Johnswife- "previewing" is watching a new workout before actually doing the workout so you have an idea what's coming ;) HTH!
