Good afternoon,
Thanks for the birthday wishes! DH and I had some plans of going out today, but I really needed to do some housework instead. We'll be going out to dinner tonite with family. Tomorrow I'm hoping for a bike ride and golf game. I played yesterday afternoon and shot my best score ever, though I was by myself. Last week, I think was my worst score ever. Can you say inconsistent?
This morning was the timesaver premix from GS Chest & Triceps, then added on the abs from LIC and then some forearm and wrist curls and shoulder circles with a weighted ball.
Kim, have fun putting the tree up. You're reminding me that I need to go buy a Christmas tree permit. I remember last year we went out on the coldest, windiest day of the year. It was freezing, but we had hotdogs, pastry, chips and Peppermint Paddie hot chocolate drinks. In fact, my avatar is from that cold day, come to think of it. That Lowmax is a good one, isn't it? I never get tired of that one. I think that a lot of the young women entering the work force are snippier and have this demeanor of entitlement. So many of them have no sense of respect. I mean, they don't care who they say something to, whether it's the Warden or a girlfriend. It's like they have no clue, or don't care. Not a good thing. We have a couple of immature acting gals in our office, but mostly I don't have to interact too much with them. And they wonder why they can't get promoted.
Laurie, so nice that you have 2 options to exercise so if the Gym doesn't work out, all is not lost. I've always worked with men too, so didn't see much bickering. They can be bad in other ways as in playing games, stirring stuff up. Out here at the prison, it's not necessarily the inmates you have to watch out for, it's other staff, though I've really enjoyed my 18 years out here. I try to surround myself with very positive people, which helps tons.
Patricia, hope you are okay!
