Almost lunch time Coolers and I'm getting hungry

Last night started tidying up the basement storage area and making a pile of more stuff to get rid off. I think we've decided to put the house on the market mid-April for a mid-July close. So trying to do a little bit each night now.

I did the step portion only of LIC last night along with Med Ball abs. I was sure missing my step Tonight will be Burn Circuit #2 - after a company function. 2 co-workers are leaving to go to another project so this is their send-off. I'll have to watch not to drink too much for lifting those heavy weights afterwards

Kim - right now its driving "down" to our cottage. I can't see us selling it ever. Better to let family use it if we can't. I think April 10/11th we will start going to their. DH has to finish caulking all the trim he installed on the walls last year then I get to paint! We have to move the water pipe to the washing machine as it ended up being too tight of a fit but thats not a huge hurry. We're also pricing to have our screened in porch built. We did the deck last fall but now need to close in 1/2 of it. Not liking the prices we've got so far though That's the major stuff for this year. We had a beaver visit over the winter and were lucky it didn't fell a tree onto our cottage, just in front of it. 1st time in 10 years to see that. Hey, just another 2 weeks and you'll be done your 2nd STS rotation?

Laurie - an exciting weekend for DD. Congrats on her achievements. 17 yrs old - starting to think about post-secondary schools yet?

I just boxed up my Power Tower Just trying to clean the house up a bit and figured I could put it away since I'm not currently using it and had saved the original box. I saved a few original boxes over the last few years knowing we would be moving. I think we're going to spend Good Friday cleaning house and getting a truck load ready for either the garage or donation.

Went out for dinner on the company dime tonight. Just a send-off for some co-workers moving onto another project. Got home and did Burn Circuit 2, then It Figures Low-Impact 20min t.v. show workout.

Off to do some reading on my Kindle.

Okay, I just realized that I never told you about my ds. On Saturday, ds wanted to go to a movie with friends, DH and I decided to go along and take dd to "A Diary of a Wimpy Kid". It's one of the huge movie complexes with 10 theatres so we would just meet him in the arcade later. When I went looking for him after the movie I found that his friends were another boy and 2 girls?? He was of course all embarrassed and didn't want to talk about it.

Today he wanted to go over to the same friend's house for the afternoon. I checked there was an adult at home. When DH picked him up, the same two girls were there and they were all outside riding bikes in the backyard. He won't tell me any details, like the girl's names. Does my almost 13 yr ds have a girlfriend??? ANy advice on teenage dating, Laurie??

I've been doing the same things as you Patricia. Decluttering and cleaning. I can't believe how much we've taken out of this house and it still looks the same.We're been here for 18 years, and things have accumulated!

Took dd swimming so I got in some extra exercise!

Morning Coolers,

This morning was Max Interval Plyo, and it was a so so day for me. Was a little tired from having to deal with interupted sleep. Had a sinus headache in the middle of the night, so spring is on it's way!

Kim, From what I understand oldest DD doesn't have any plans with her friends, I really don't think that they think of things like that. I told her that she could have friends over, but she never organized anything. All I can tell you about your ds and girls, is that he is probably embarrased to talk to either you or your DH. If you have rules for dating, then this is probably the time to talk to him about them. I would just tell him that it is normal for his age, and these are our rules. The main thing is that you are aware that he is at his friends house with girls present. If you are not aware of that, then that leads to trust issues. Kids are big on you trusting them. We talked to our girls about dating, and told them that if we know who, what, when, where then there will be trust. Break a rule, and the trust is broken. Hope you understand what I'm saying. It really is a big change for parents when intrest in the oposite sex starts. They go from being your kid to being a young adult.

Patricia, Our oldest DD has already decided that she would pursue the field of Paralegal. She is going to start out at an area Technical Collage (the one my DH works at ), and then will go onto college after that. Her interest is in the political side of it, and wants to work for a Congressman or Senator some day. She loves to argue, so probably would be good at it. How do you like your Kindle? Is it hard to read on one of those?

Sounds like your dd has a good plan in place! DS would also like to work in the area of law. He's thinking he would like to be a prosecutor, but I think that comes from watching so much Law & Order.

Well, the other boy in this little foursome left today for a few weeks on vacation so maybe ds won't be hanging out with the girls if the whole gang isn't around

Just finished plyo #3 (with ds) this one is a little easier except for the one legged squat thrusts! We spent the afternoon at the zoo and all the fresh air really tired me out. Only got one closet cleaned out, from the list of things to do. I ran to Wal mart early this morning and bought some stuff for the kids' Easter basket. Otherwise kind of lazy
