Afternoon All

Quiet day here at work. Went to a funeral this morning for a co-worker's Father who passed this week.

We have a b.day party to go to tomorrow up north. Family friend same age as DS so will be fun.

I think I might try some yoga tonight.

Congrats to ds on his first lost tooth!! I bet he was very excited!!

Yesterday ds had 3 curling games! I did the morning and afternoon one and both grandmas's did come too watch. They had a nice restaurant there so we had lunch at the curling club. DH took him to the evening game while I did groceries as we're having a party again today.

DH got to go to curling again this morning but they lost so it's finally over!! Except it's all over the tv for the next week, I'm so sick of curling!!!

Having my coworkers over to see the house, have no idea how many people are coming as didn't get to many replies:rolleyes:

Got CCC done this morning but nothing done yesterday. I'll finish the March rotation tomorrow and then I think I'll move right into the April rotation.

Morning Ladies,

Sorry to be MIA for a while, have been doing a project here at work. ;) Love being busy, but it sure did drain the energy out of me. Have been keeping up with my S90 workouts, and this morning was Cardio Challenge. Still enjoying these workouts.

Patricia, First tooth lost! The front ones will fall out fast now. ;)

Kim, So how was the party this weekend, did you have a few or way to many people show up. :D WTG on keeping up with Cathe's rotations.

Have a great day!

Are you guys excited about Cathe's latest announcement. I'm really looking forward to some low impact stuff. Looks like some filming has already happened too! I still have some $$ left in by g.c. that I know what it will be spent on.

I did some yoga on Sat. but that was it for excercise until tonight. Watching Celebrity Apprentice last night and Marlee Maitlin was wearing a P90X shirt so I decided to do Kenpo X. Fun light w/o.

We had a great time at the b.day party Sat. It was held at a gym so the kids got to play floor hockey and soccer for an hour. We went back to the parents house and had a nice social. I think it was 11pm by the time we got home.

Sun I got my highlights touched up - a little too blond so I'm trying to decide if I go back for some low lights:eek: DH's brother and family came over for Sunday dinner so a busy weekend of socializing.

Kim - My SIL brought her Mother yesterday and she is a curling fanatic. Always asking if we're watching it. I'm sure DS had a great time last week. That April rotation looked fun with all the circuits. So is this 2 party weekends down 3 more to go:p

Laurie - When DS was little I was constantly putting my finger in his month to feel for teeth. I have to hold myself back now again:p I had offered to tie a string around it and yank but he wasn't too keen on it. He said that didn't work on an episode of Arthur.:) Great with keeping up on the w/os.

Well I did Low Impact Circuit to celebrate the announcement of the Low Impact Series! Sounds like there will be some different workouts like barre and yoga, I'll buy it!

Laurie We had about 12 people come to the get-together on Saturday. It was fun! So many people bring a bottle wine as a house warming gift that I'm getting quite the collection. I also got a couple of plants!

Patricia Glad you had a fun outing on the weekend! I bet your SIL's mother is busy watching the World's this week. Our coworker's husband was curling on Sat. night so we had it on at our get together.

I did finished the March rotation yesterday with a 30 min tm run, CoreMax 2 and S & H Shoulders.

Morning Ladies,

S90 Legs for me this morning.

Patricia, That is so cute that about the Arthur episode. :D It is funny what they will remember. I'm not sure that I will be getting the new Cathe workouts, not a big fan of those discs.

Kim, The wine collection is a very nice addition to the many parties. ;) I wish that my tm was fixed. :( I have this need to do a workout on that contraption.

Have a great day!

Morning Coolers

Yesterday was a rest day for me - love these active rest weeks:) Not sure what cardio I'll be doing tonight.

Laurie - I've decided to go out and buy S90 but it'll be hard to finish up M3 when those are on the shelf waiting:)

Kim - are you starting up the April rotation next?

Morning Coolers,

S90 Chest & Back this morning.

Patricia, I think that you will like the S90 workouts for the summer. They are really good, and I'm seeing results also. The under arm wiggle that I've been trying to get rid of for years is going away!

Have a great day!

Morning Coolers,

S90 Ultimate Ball and a short run this morning. The weather was actually nice, and I couldn't resist.

Have a great day!

Sorry I haven't been around much this week, no reason that I wasn't the week just seem to fly by. The kids started swimming lessons one night. The weather is getting nice and spring like so we were outside a bit. I'm so glad that we had the driveway and deck put in place so we have an oasis in the middle of our mud pit.

DS is turning 14 this weekend! So I had to run around and pick up a few gifts for him, they sure get more difficult to buy for as they get older!

I have been following the April rotation with LIC on Monday, HiTT double wave on Tuesday, Circuit Blast on Wednesday and I missed yesterday's workout which was supposed to be KPC. Will plan to do KPC today.

Of course with the nice weather our area and North Dakota have big flooding worries. So on the local 6 pm news last night they were calling for urgent volunteers to come and sand bag so ds and I went. When we got to one location they were out of sand bags so no more work till today and then we drove to the other location and they were busing people in and the last bus had left. So it was a wasted evening and I never got my workout in.

Laurie, are you thinking of getting the tm fixed? The run outside in the nice weather sounds like fun! Don't you love spring!

Morning Coolers,

S90 Tabata Inferno for me this morning.

Kim, That is to bad that you didn't have a chance to at least get a sand bag workout in. :( Nice of you and your DH to go and help out though. We have rain this morning, but it is suppose to warm up for us. I'm hoping to get out again to run this weekend. Happy Birthday to your DS.

Have a great day!

DD and I had the nicest girl's evening. We turned off the lights, turned on the fireplace. I had a glass of wine, she had a glass of 7-UP and we watched Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks in You Have Mail. I cried, and she made fun of me crying.

Evening Coolers

Just popping in after putting DS to bed. We had company for dinner last night and again tonight. We're watching the Nascar race and the Hockey Game.

I started M3 today with Disc 25 - back/chest. Makes for a lot of weight changes with the push/pull method.

Laurie - I bought S90 today - I think I'll try one of the cardios tomorrow.

Kim - I was at a Health and Wellness seminar this week and they actually said 2 glass of wine a day is good for you. So 2 yesterday and 2 today so we're in good company:D:D

Fairly active day for me Coolers

I did S90 Tabata Inferno and quite enjoyed it. Hard but doable. I felt my abs a bit in the warm up so you do get an ab workout lifting weights.:)

Took DS with a friend and his Mother to 10-pin bowling and then back here to play some hockey for a while. A beautiful warmish sunny day here. Lots of kids out ont he street playing.

Since my w/o is already done I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing evening. Amazing Race will be on.

Morning Ladies,

Saturday I did a 30 min. run and S90 Shoulders & Arms. Sunday was cleaning up the yard, since we had such warm temps. This morning I did another 30 min. run, and S90 Total Body. I really like this workout a lot. So far I have not found a workout in this set I don't like.

Kim, My girls make fun of me when I cry during a movie. There is one movie that they sit and wait for me to cry. :D

Patricia, Glad you enjoyed that Tabata workout. All of the workouts have ab work in them, and I have noticed a really improvement in my core. Pikes on the ball are getting easier and easier to do.

Have a great day!

Just finished Circuit Max, I haven't done that one in years! It's still hard;)!
Yesterday was Step Blast and Saturday was CCC.

Busy weekend with birthday parties. DS went to a friend's birthday sleepover (Friday night), then Saturday, him and 3 friends went to the hockey game for his birthday. Then Sunday our family went out to lunch for his birthday then I had extended family over for Sunday dinner for his birthday:rolleyes: OF course, dd had to go to her friend's birthday party, it was a party weekend!!! I have to say that I"m getting a little tired of entertaining, and next week's party got moved back a week and it will be nice to have a week off.

Tonight DH and ds are go-carting which is the windup for their hockey team.

Laurie Which movie????? That's funny the other day doing KPC, I was thinking how much easier pikes on the ball are for me, compared to a couple of years ago.

Good to hear about the wine
icon14.gif
because I've been drinking my share lately. Who are you cheering for in the hockey playoffs since the Leafs are out.

Kim - go do 12 pikes on the ball for even suggesting we cheer for the Leafs:eek::D:D DH is a staunch Habs fan :D:D Wow, that was quite the busy weekend. I haven't watched the news lately - how is the flooding so far?

Completed Disc 26 - Plyo Legs tonight. This one would have been a good one to have the count down clock on it for the plyo moves.

I get to sleep in tomorrow to take DS to school. Daycare provider on vacation this week and DH has a meeting. Boy, 6:30am is a sleep in for me now:rolleyes::confused:

Laurie - Wasn't this weekend beautiful? I guess its time I take down the Xmas lights. We're not doing any landscaping this year so no yard work for me:p:D

Morning Ladies,

Today was S90 Core Dynamics, another great workout. :D

Kim, You will not believe this, but the movie is UP! I cry every dang time on that one. Nice that you are getting a weekend off from the entertaining.

Patricia, We have people coming over to look over our landscaping, and we want to put in a patio. We also need to get the house painted this year. Money floating out the door!

Have a great day!

Evening Coolers

CTX 10-10-10 cardio only done. I might have only done that one 1x before. The cardio in this series might go well with STS.

Laurie - I love UP. I DVR'd it for DS last month and I finally got to watch the whole thing. We went to see it in the theatre and DS got scared so I missed the last 1/2.

Waving hi to Kim

Patricia, okay I do remember you mentioning the Habs before but this is a dumb question, you live in Toronto??? Why not the Leafs?? I mean everyone in Winnipeg still cheers for the Jets and they've been gone since '96 (But they're coming back soon;)) Don't you have to support the hometown team??

Hitt 30/30 done, those shorter workouts are always nice.

Hmm, Up, I don't remember crying during that one but chances are I did. I definitely cried during Toy Story 3, that was a tearjerker.

Flooding is better than expected, only one community flooded out. Just north of the city about 1/2 hr, a few houses lost. Many towns have closed their ring roads and are isolated for a few weeks but that is normal. Still lots of sandbagging happened, the river won't crest until the end of the month. There was one death over the weekend, a car washed away with a man in it.

Laurie, we are looking at putting a patio in as well. Let me know if you have any great ideas!!
