**Control The Damage Dec Month**

Happy New Year's Eve!

Hi Ladies,

This morning calls for Hard Strikes. It's a shorter cardio workout, about 45 minutes I think. I hate the scale this morning, but it's just water weight from the ham/potatoes DH made for dinner last night.

Unfortunately, work is calling me today. I'm so wishing I would've taken today as a vacation day.

We usually stay home on NYE and watch movies all night! I remember back in the day...we would rent like 12 dvds....now we just either have them on hand or watch them on cable.

Wendy-Hope you are having a winning streak today. If not, we know you are safe in your room working out!:eek:

Lori-what are you up to today? Do you and DH have any plans? Hopefully you will start meeting some people soon.

Laura-I recall you saying you had to work today too. Hope the time passes quickly for you.

TG-What are you up to this NYE?

Better get my w/o on if I want to get to work at a reasonable hour.

MON - last day of 2012 .. thank GOD!

Morning Ladies!!

I am at work - thought we would be super short handed but everyone is back! :eek: so I am at my desk .. dang I would have taken vaca if I would have known everyone was coming back!! :mad: I still have a cough and drainage - this is my THIRD week of this stupid flue - but I am better!! NO exercise to report - but I did manage some major duty cleaning - reorganized my cabinets - my kitchen - my junk room - threw out stuff I dont need or use - I did some MAJOR throwing out - got my kitchen and wet bar back in order - LOOOOOOOOOVE my new granite countertops - GORGEOUS!! My kitchen looks AWESOME - I gotta change out the cabinet knobs but that is no biggie!

I have not got my workouts yet - hoping they come TODAY!!!!! :eek: and if they do I WILL be working out tmrw - and if they dont - I WILL be working out tmrw - the cough isnt that bad and I think I am well enough to where I wont have a relapse now!!

Di - so what do you think about the new workouts??? LOVE THEM????? I cant wait .. keeping fingers crossed I get them today!!

Lori - glad DD is making friends that is wonderful! heck it is so cold where you are the girls cant get into too much there .. LOL!!

Wendy - so where are you .. in A/C?? have fun - sending winning vibes!

OK - ready to say GOODBYE and GOOD RIDDINS to this crappy year - too much loss - sadness - stress - worry - seems my faith - marriage and everything about me has been tested this year - ready for a fresh start tmrw - so HERE IS TO A BETTER - HEALTHIER - HAPPIER NEW YEAR!!!!! LOVE YOU GIRLIES - HAVE A GREAT ONE!
 
Hey Guys,:)

Man oh man, I was hoping to get Cathe’s workouts today, oh well; maybe Wednesday. Any who, I haven’t been up to much, my son and his girl has gone on a 5 day cruise. I had 5 grandkids this past weekend and Tank’s brother 'Snickers' and my son also left me to watch the turtle wth can't wait till they get home:eek:

Saturday, I took my GK to see Life of Pi and I really enjoyed it, two of my grandkids fell asleep, it was expected;) Boss man just informed me we are closing office at noon….freaking YAY:cool::) I’m going home and relax, well almost. Need to stop at the grocery store, I always bring the new years in with a pot of black eyed peas for good luck. I don’t like them but…..my brother do so I will add smoke turkey:D. Have a wonderful day.

Hey Girls,

Hard Strikes with weighted gloves-Done! This is an OK w/o IMO, probably not a favorite. The time flies by in this one too as Cathe nevers stops. This would be good for a lighter workout day. It ends with some shoulder and bicep endurance weights and has a nice ab section.

Laura-I'm at work now and am wishing I had taken a vacation day. It's pretty quiet and I'm hopeful we may get to leave early. I too am ready to say sayanara to this and bring in a much better year! Hope you continue to feel better girl.

TG-GK's are so much fun! Hope you get your w/o's soon. Laura is probably having black eyed peas too...for good luck!

I got my new XTRAIN workouts .. woot woot! :eek: :D:D:D wow Cathe outdid herself - LOVE the book - she always ONE UPS herself!!! Cant wait to give the workouts a try!

Di - which one should I start with - keeping in mind I am recovering from this stupid super bug flu!!!

TG - yes I am having black eyed peas and collards tmrw (the only day of the year I eat collards - ick - love black eyed peas tho) - for luck and money!! Are Southerners the only ones that do this tradition??? .. I am gonna put my peas on to soak tonight - we are staying in - DH on days - but we are gonna have our own private celebration ;) gonna put the champagne on ice for a midnight toast!!
 
Laura-I would suggest starting with CSB. I'm loosely following the 90 Undulating rotation. If you want a lighter cardio you could add in Hard Strikes. Low Impact HIIT is another option if your up to it.
 
Hey. Just fimished my wrk out. Combat plyo hiit, 33 one legged squats per side and 34 walking lunges are done! Time to hit the shower and get ready to ring in 2013!!!!!! :D
