Hi Cathe and everyone,

First I want to say how thankful I am for your tapes Cathe! I am fairly new to your tapes (I only own the PS series, MIC & Interval Max )but now I don't even look at any of my other excercise videos because I know they will not challenge me like yours do!

I have a few questions about the CTX series.
First, are weight training sections low or high reps? I tend to see better results from high reps because of my body type. I am more interested in toned, lean muscle than strength and I was wondering if CTX will help me achieve that.

Also, I have read that the cardio sections are shorter but more intense. Time is definitely a big problem for me since I work and go to school, but will the shorter cardio sessions still help me to lose weight? Also, I plan on doing cardio at least 5 days a week (I only need to lose about 15 pounds and tone up all over)

I really love the idea of CTX because it will fit nicely into my busy schedule and allow me to get cardio & weight training into each workout. Also, I am having trouble getting motivated to excercise lately, and these tapes will be a new and exciting program for me.

Thanks for any responses, I appreciate it!

I am also considering buying the CTX series so would be interested in the answer to this question. I too am new to CAthe. So far I have only done the cardiokicks and half of the MIS cardio tape. I am waiting for my PS series tapes and was thinking I could use those for 6 wks and then do the CTX series for 6 wks....then rethink from that point. Does that sound reasonable? I also need 15 lbs or so to lose.....

Hi. Just wanted to say that I love the CTX series. The cardio portions are shorter, but still intense, and I like having a vareity of cardio during the week. The leg workout is a killer! In my opinion the strength sections are more high rep, I saw excellent results with this series. I also enjoyed the ab work which was a bit different from some of her earlier ab workouts, incorporating more plank moves.

Enjoy,

Stacy

I think it's more high rep too. Especially the biceps. Those alternating dumbell curls just seem to go on and on.... The Ctx series DOES fit nicely into busy schedules. I highly reccomend getting it:)!

I see really good results using only these tapes. They are definitely a must for people with busy schedules.
