Confessions of an unclean eater - Friday 05/06/05

midnight

I thought I'd give Shelley a break and start everybody's favorite topic today. I have been squeaky clean so far but I thought I'd get it started. I'm sure I'll be posting again later. }(

I had chicken and cabbage for dinner, and egg whites with cottage cheese on a slice of whole wheat for breakfast. So far so good.

But it's the weekend, so you never know...:p

I had a package of blueberry pop tarts this morning! }( }( }(

Haven't had them in AGES! They are soooo yummy! :9

I had the other half of an apple fritter that my assistant was eating. I'm not proud of my behavior.

I normally don't do this thread b/c I normally don't feel guilty about what I eat. but now, I FEEL LIKE LADY MACBETH! OUT, DAMNED SPOT, OUT!
My sister moved this week and her realtor brought over some DELICIOUS pudding cake, oreo brownies, walnut brownies, and carrot cake! And for helping her move, DSister bought me a huge three feet long Toblerone bar, and I ATE THE WHOLE THING! INCLUDING THREE (okay, maybe four or five) BROWNIES!

OUT, DAMNED SPOT, OUT!

I am getting ready to go grocery shopping. My DD boyfriend last night kept talking about Moose Tracks Ice Cream and Cheesecake. For the life of me, I feel like I want to SCREAM!!! AGGGHHHHH!!! I just want the thought to leave my mind then I will forget all about it, but NO...he keeps bringing it up. x(

Well, I'd really like to blame Shelley for my behavior, but on top of everything else, she has hairdresser issues, so I better not! }(

I'm supposed to be working out now, but I sit here with a spoonful of wicked chocolate chip cookie dough enjoying every bite (uh...thanks for the recipe!) *lips smacking*

I treated myself to chocolate sprinkles on (and I had to look this up in the dictionary cause I had no idea what you would call this so if it sounds totally off wordly it's not my fault) biscuit rusks ????. Not just the one, but three. Later on I had my w/o shake. And for lunch 3 whole grain bread slices with Gouda cheese. And in about 15 minutes I will have roasted potatoes with a big salad (iceberg salad, cucumber, very tasty tomatoes, radish and feta cheese).

Dutchie :)

Oh Dutchie, you're making me so hungry! And because of you, I'm going to get some Gouda when I go grocery shopping today. I'm sure it won't be as good as yours, but I love it! And rusks is correct.:)

Well I have been very good all week & am down to 106. WHOOO HOOOO!!! That means I get to have pizza tonight. :9

And let me just share my favorite low carb healthy recipe. Seafood kabobs. One lb scallops, one lb shrimp, some plum tomatoes, a red & green bell pepper & an onion cut into bite sized pieces. Marinade is vinegar, soy sauce & chopped ginger. Slide it on a skewer, stick it on the grill & you're eating in 5 minutes. Obviously this can be modified to taste...add mushrooms, steak, pork, whatever.

The best thing about it is once everything's cut up & in containers, I can eat it throughout the week (or for as long as the seafood lasts LOL). It's so easy even I can do it! :p

I've been good so far buuuuuuuut.....tonight I plan on eating a whole wedge of Five Counties cheese and chasing it down with a bottle of Pescevino! For those of you who don't know what Five Counties cheese is, it's a five layered Irish cheddar. Every layer tastes a little bit different. Great with wine.

Can you tell the SO is out of town? I'm treating myself to $7 worth of cheese. }(

I'm vertically challenged. Only 5'3".

Really I should stay around 110, but I just love when the abs really show. For some reason my loved ones hate it, but WTH, it's my body.

I too am 5' 3"....you've just inspired me for my post-baby goals! :)

Cool. That's what I'm here for.

(actually I'm really here to gossip, BS, get HBA advice, avoid work & leach good fitness info from everyone else, but it sounded good :) )

I'm sure your Gouda will be just as good as mine. Which do you like? I prefer the old Gouda but my kids prefer the less matured type so we've compromised, one week they get theirs, next week I get mine.

Dutchie

Hmmm, I thought I could have a pizza yesterday cause I'd been pretty good since my birthday, but I I was suddenly up 2 pounds this morning x( Now you know why I had the chocolate sprinkles on my breakfast rusks :) We actually feed those to the really sick (and old). And have them with anise sprinkles when a baby is born (pink or blue). We take them to work and give one to everyone. Dutch tradition for you.

Dutchie :)
