Confession

I had a wonderful Christmas & was truly spoiled but I had only one Cathe item on my wish list & I didn't get it so I was also a little disappointed.

So not only did I order the DVD after Christmas, I also added Cardio Fusion because it was on sale!

So now I'm feeling a little guilty.

I know I should have just been satisfied with what I received so I'm wondering... am I terrible?!? My DVDs should arrive tomorrow so even though I feel a little guilty...

I'm also doing the happy dance!:D

Did anyone else do anything like this?

Kel

P.S. - In addition to the "good" gifts from DH, I also got a hammer & holster for it (we do a lot of construction on the weekends). So even though I know it was sort of a joke, it's helping my guilty conscience a little...

Okay, maybe a lot!:+

Don't feel bad!! Cathe is good!!!LOL

For our engagement party we registered but really only wanted one thing. (a steamer) We ended up with a lot of great gifts but not one steamer!!! (2 toaster ovens) So we took back a toaster oven and got a steamer! We felt bad at first, but then rationalized people would want us to have the steamer!!:)

Don't feel guilty, feel happy :)
I'm sure your DH and family/friends will be happy for you:)
Enjoy!!

I asked for the long step...didnt get it so ordered it from Cathe the day after Xmas!
NOT FEELING GUILTY!!! My Dh LOVES my Cathe bod!}(

Thanks! I knew I could count on you guys! I guess I just felt like I should be thankful for what I received & I was worried that I was appearing to be ungrateful by ordering them right after Christmas. But hey, I would have ordered them eventually anyway so now I can use them right away... & I sure NEED to, after all this holiday eating!

I think they would want me to have them too... or at least they should anyway. (Ha!) Plus,I know my DH loves what my Cathe DVDs do for me, in body & spirit, too!

Thanks again!
Kel

I've found that the items DH and I want are hard to buy - he wouldn't know what to order from Cathe and I haven't the faintest idea to order power disc brakes! LOL. Sometimes it's just easier to buy those really specific things for yourself and see what your spouse comes up with. I gave DH a new bicycle and he gave me a smoothie maker - neither were things we asked for, but both are definitely loved and appreciated.

Don't feel guilty! There were a couple of things I wanted that I didn't get, so I'll go and get them for myself. Sometimes it just happens that way. I did get TRUCKLOADS of things I didn't know I wanted, but they're all wonderful:)

Forget thinking about them as "I didn't get this for Christmas" presents, and start thinking of them as New Years Resolutions you're going to keep! Don't feel guilty for wanting to improve your health! It's all good!

I say don't ever feel guilty about buying yourself ANYTHING. }( Good lord, if you had any idea of the post-Xmas sales I've participated in, you'd probably pass out.

But my big splurge was my first Kate Spade handbag. Have never been a fan of Kate Spade ($500 for a microfiber handbag? I think not!), but I found a beautiful leather hobo on ebay for about half price. I was nervous it'd be a fake, but it's definitely for real & I adore it. Without a speck of guilt. ;-)

Thanks again everyone! The more I read, the better I feel. Just because I wanted to order these DVDs for myself doesn't mean I'm not grateful for every other wonderful thing I have. Plus, now I know where to come for encouragement to buy even more DVDs in the not-so-distant future!

}( :p

Hey, I just checked & they're on schedule for delivery tomorrow... Yeah!

Thanks again!

Kel:D

Hey, I just talked to my husband, who is at home, and he said, "Well, looks like Teresa's second Christmas has been delivered!" I bought the stuff that I didn't get, too (and really, no one knew about). Since I got the new step , I figured I'd go ahead and get the high step top (that ONLY Cathe sells, it seems!)now that I have the appropriate risers. I also got more stickers for my calendar. And then there are some books from Amazon that I wanted, that also came in today.

So, no, don't feel guilty...it'll just make me feel like maybe I should feel bad, too!;-)

Im waiting for cardio fusion, the Cathe calendar and about a 400.00 order from Victoria Secret! Don't feel guilty!

I just finished placing an almost $400 order with cathe.com. I am feeling a bit bad also. I just keep reminding myself that this is for keeping all my new years resolutions and I did get some money for Christmas that can help cover the bill.

Kel, anything "Cathe" is a good investment! Think of it as a way to keep you out of the doctor's office. :7 Enjoy your gift to yourself guilt-free! I can tell you are thnakful for your other gifts, soooo enjoy them all!

>I say don't ever feel guilty about buying yourself ANYTHING.

I agree!
Life it too short to worry about other people not giving you what you want, when you can do it yourself.

I bought myself a water distiller as an early Christmas present, and it's the best present I got!
