Concealing Workout Tops

Tamster

Can someone help me out? I am tired of wearing workout tops that more or less leave nothing to the imagination, if you know what I mean....

What do y'all wear to help support and conceal 'the girls'. Am I the only one with this nippley problem?

Tammy

I always wear a bra under a sleeveless workout top, etc. Bikini tops sometimes, but I ain't got alot of shakin' going on at top so my "girls" stay put for the most part. LOL

I wear sports bras underneath. Racerback ones for racerback stlye tops. Most women at the gym wear some sort of bra underneath, very few women wear just the top alone. We all still have a little bit of the nippley problem, but it's all womens gym so it's not a big deal.

Tammy,

I bought a Champion sports bra that's really supportive. I intentionally bought a black one and a white one. I also bought long workout tops to go over the sports bra that either have a black or white outline. I think the combination of sports bra (to provide the support) over the long workout top (for style) look nice together. This is exactly what I'll be wearing this weekend.

Charlotte: LOL! My girls aren't too big either, but I guess they are starting to head south!

Namita: What a beautiful name. I was trying to get away from wearing a bra, but I guess it's time!

Lorrayne...do you happen to have the model #? Thanks,

Tammy

I use a champion sports bra that is made to stop the bounce, it has hooks in the back, as I hate trying to wiggle out of a bra once I'm all sweaty. It has meash over the shoulders so it cools quickly and then the cups are reinforced and yes you get the apparance of having two instead of the mono one boob thing, that a lot of sports bras give you. I like this one as it doesn't squish you down, so much, but I can do Cathe aerobics and not have sore breasts afterwards. I honestly don't know how the girls do it, in the sports tops that have that micro thin, build in bra, my nipples show right threw those the moment I put it on. Not to mention the bounce. Also one thing nice is Champion actually makes this bra for smaller chested women. I wear a 32 so supporitive sports bras are a hard thing to come by.

Hey Tammy...

You could also purchase those things that you put over your "head lights" (LOL) before you put on your work out top. That should solve your problem too...I forget what the heck those things are called tho...??

I didn't notice that problem with my workout bras, but had a big problem with my everyday bras. Now I wear one of those foam jobs that are so thick they almost look like they have padding. I never would have even tried one on if I hadn't had the store clerk helping me, because I assumed they were padded bras, which I don't need, but they're not. Now I can take off my suit jacket at work with confidence. These bras (Wacoal) are fab!

I like those too when I'm at the hospital and it's hot, as a lot of times if the electric is out due to the storm, the first thing that goes is the A/C so that the generator can keep running all the necessary equipment. They are just called foam cup bras, or anyway that's what they are called on the Hanes, Bali, and Playtex website. And what is nice, is now they are making a stretch foam cups. So it moves with you, almost like a second skin but still hides everything you want to hide. The advances in bras has been very nice to us, but it's a pain to keep up on, if you not bra shop every couple of months.

Also they make foam, covers?? okay not sure what they are called, if I remember right they had a strange name on the box that now I can't remember. But that's basically what they do. They go in the bra cup are to keep the headlights hidden. They are pretty thin so they don't add much size, but do give you more roundness, from the way they are shaped. This might be an alternative for women who don't want to have the pain of flowers or Band-Aids that actually are stuck to the breast but still don't want nipples showing. And don't want to buy all new bras. These usually come in some type of silky cloth, so they don't rub or scratch, and you just hand wash them. And I've used them in both normal, and workout bras, and they don't seem to move. Unless you got on a half cup bra, but then if your wearing on of those, everything moves.
