Complexion- red broken vessels?

Winter

Cathlete
Hi All,

This is probably my imagination but I am working in Austria for 6 months all the way from Minnesota. I have noticed my complexion looks more red than usual. Maybe the lighting? I have little broken blood vessels that are red but I notice then more here.

Is there a procedure to get rid of the broken vessels? I seem to get more and more.

Any suggestions on a foundation to even out my skin tone. My skin is ivory and translucent I think so the red it more noticeable.

Thanks All,
Winter

Broken blood vessels can be eliminated with some laser treatments, but they're expensive & uncomfortable. Also they might come back.

I'd suggest discussing w/a dermatologist so you know your options.

I had 2 broken blood vessels on my face and a few broken capillaries removed on my legs by sclerotherapy about 4-5 years ago. It only cost me $250 (the dermatolgist charged by syringes needed which was one) and my legs look great for an old bag;). I'm sure it costs much more now. They haven't returned and I am glad I had it done (Laser wasn't offered then).

You have so many options now....I agree with LauraMax, your best bet is to talk to a dermatologist.

In the meantime, use a green color over the red areas (it cancels the red) then apply your foundation. There are many companies that carry a green foundation just for this purpose ;-) It really works.
