Tell us what you are doing this week! How last week went..... What is hard?

What are you learning?
How is your spirit, determination, intention?
How is the view in the mirror doing?
Pictures !!

There are so many of us right here with you for anything you need..
~~~ For better and worse ~~~~
You are actualizing something i would love to do and you learning things about working hard physically and psychologically that maybe i would never know would be involved.
As someone said in a post to you....... by the time you get on stage , you have DONE IT!! ..... i hadnt thought of that but that really is the truth.
And as far as us on the forum go..
You already are a winner!
Ahh, Cinza, you brought a tear to my eye!! Well, this was just my first week of training and dieting, but I'll tell you what I did and what I've learned so far.
What I learned: I thought I was strong and muscular until I had my DH take pics of me from all sides, like Kim suggested. I thought that since i can pretty much keep up with Cathe weight for weight, I was strong. NOPE!!! I'm scrawny!! I am strong, just not muscular. So I have learned that I must up my protein, cut back on carbs and fat. I alway did, but you have to really change it around for precompetition.I have also learned how to push myself this week. I am now doing about 2 hours of weight training a day and 1 hr cardio, except on leg days. The longest I ever went(cardio and weights combined) is 1 1/2 hr. BodyMax of course. I learned that you get REALLY HUNGRY training like this!!! WOW!! Every 2 hours I'm starving!! Hmmm... What else? Oh yeah, This is expensive!!! Kim told me it would be!
As for training, I posted that in the checkin. I felt like i was writing a novel!! My kind hearted brother thinks that what I'm doing is fantastic and brought down an old weight bench with a leg extension/curl attachment. I going to start using that this week with my leg workouts!! It also has a deeper incling than a step allows for. I have to teach 3 bodypump classes this week, but since I'm doing so much, I think I'll just go in there and be Sargent Amy. They'll just have to understand.
My goal is to get down to 6% bodyfat by Oct. and to just come in really shredded, since I can't put on too much mass in such a short amount of time.
Maybe, if I like it, I'll concentrate on putting on mass for my next competition;-)!
Ok, that's all I can think of right now. Thanks for all of your all's encouragement!! You'll never know how much it means to me:)!!
Thanks again!!
