'Evening! Last evening went to a local play and forgot to check in. Sorry! Had to work today, then get an mri, and then came home and got in a short, slow walk.

Deb, the weather has been nice. I'm with you on not looking forward to the clocks changing. The PT seems to be helping my spine and hip but not my feet yet. How is your mom doing with hers? Was today your gs's b'day celebration?

Belinda, this time of the year is great for walking! The colors seem a little past peak, but two week ago, they were beautiful.

Today was a rest day. We went to celebrate gs's birthday. It was fun, they asked us to dress up it was a Halloween birthday party. We dressed up as pizza one of gs's favorite treats. Unfortunately my Mom wasn't feeling well so she asked us not to come get her.

Belinda - It was a nice day for a walk. Did Sadie come with you? I had a trim and a little shorter, it looks healthier after a cut.

Cookie - I wished I could have walked too, not looking forward to bundling up in a couple of weeks. Good that the PT is working, hopefully your feet next. My Mom is seeing slow improvement, but this week having lots of stomach issues, the reason she didn't feel comfortable going to the party.

Debbie - glad your mom is seeing slow improvements. Sorry she wasn’t feeling well with her stomach. Happy birthday to your gs’s birthday. Saide came with me. She wouldn’t miss her walks. I’ll bet your hair cut looks amazing.

Cookie - glad the pt is helping your spine and hip. what is going on with your feet.

"Evening! Went to visit dd and her fiance. On the way, my dh and I discovered a great bakery! Sourdough foccacia w/shallots and mushrooms. It was incredible.

Deb, your poor mom must have felt bad about missing the party, and I'm sorry she's not feeling better. Did you make your pizza costume? That sounds so creative.

Belinda, that Sadie, has personality! How is she doing healthwise these days? Are you still doing bellydancing?

Today was a walk outside. Older ds left this afternoon for home. He asked for an extra suitcase and stuffed and packed it. I don't think his gs will be too happy but I am happy to get even a small amount out:)

Belinda - Great job with zoom workshop dance class. I'm sure Sadie loves her walks especially this time of year.

Cookie - Sourdough foccacia sounds amazing, I would have to stop everytime I visited. I didn't make the costume, we bought them on Amazon. I could have probably made it but it would have taken me a long time;)

Today I did JS Upper body plus 15 min stretch. I also walked outside.

Debbie - Great job on your walk outside. I hear you on getting your DS stuff out of your house. I am working on mine. Sadie loves going for walks year-round, lol.

Cookie - your sourdough foccacia sounds amazing. We have 2 bakeries in town. Both have amazing breads. Yes, Sadie has personality. Thanks for asking, she is doing really good. She hates taking the prednisone. Her vet gave me liquid prednisone, which works better. At least she can’t spit it out. Yes, I am still doing my bellydancing 3 times a week. I will dance tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. Yesterday she did a live zoom workshop.

'Evening! Got a call from youngest ds in early afternoon that he and his wife were on their way to the hospital. So skipped workout in order to get work done for today, tomorrow and Wednesday. Baby was born this evening, and we'll go down in the morning to meet him.

Deb, any luck it was a large suitcase he took? Most of our kids are storing things in our garage, which has an attic. We would have so much space if they would just take it! I'm envious of you.

Belinda, I love good bread. And hate to waste calories on bad, bland bread. You are lucky to have two bakeries both with amazing bread. Will Sadie take pills in Pill Pockets? It is only way we can get our dogs to take meds.

Today was zoom yoga. We also babysat in the morning.

Belinda - Great job with JS Upper body & stretch. I never heard of liquid meds for dogs, good idea.

Cookie - Congratulations it will be so exciting for you to meet the baby. DH & I went in his room and it looks like the room is still full, maybe a small dent in the stuff:(

Debbie - great job on the zoom yoga. Yeap, they have liquid meds for dogs. Sadie spits the pills out.

Cookie - congratulations on the new baby boy . How exciting. I can’t give Sadie the pill Pockets anymore. She can’t have anything except prescription food or threats. Her pancreas will spiral out of control. I switched to all liquid medications and a syringe for her. Like I mentioned, she is so smart…keeps the pills hitting in her mouth, than later on I find it on the floor.

Today was Perfect 30 Pump lower body & walk outside. The fall foliage is at peak here which is nice to see when walking.

Belinda - Great job with zoom dance, core work & walk. Sadie is really smart to hide the pill in her mouth. It's a good thing the liquid meds work out.

Cookie - How does your gd feel about the new baby? Nice to hear your DIL is feeling better. I have been doing zoom yoga indoors.

LMaR Upper Body Strength Back & Biceps is done. I really liked the workout. I will do a short stretch and a walk today.

Debbie - great job with P30 LB and walk. I love seeing the different colors when walking. My tree in my backyard is so beautiful. I took a picture before all the leaves are falling. I have a huge orange one in the front yard.

Cookie - glad the baby and DIL are doing well. Thank goodness I have Sadie. It was a lovely day here too.

Today was lots of walking with our gs. It was nice to be able to spend so much time outside.

Belinda - Great job with LMR UB back & bi's & walk. I love your tree, it is one of my favorites. Our town was giving away one free tree for the front of the house. I actually ordered the tree you have but mistakenly gave me a different one.

'Evening! Long day today. Had to go to NYC for a mtg and then saw & Juliet while there. Came home and watched end of World Series game. Now, I'm exhausted.

Deb, gd seems to think if she ignores him, he'll go away! That's great you could get a free tree, too bad it's not the one you had hoped for.

Belinda, beautiful tree. Thanks for sharing the photo. Beautiful day for a walk.
 
Evening,

Today was live zoom dancing plus live zoom Pilates back strengthening.

So my permanent retainers broke again. I am getting frustrated. I have to call in the morning to see the orthodontist. 3rd time.

Debbie - great job on your walk. Glad you have lots of fun walking with gs. That is so cool your town was giving free trees. The tree was already here when we bought the house.

Cookie - you have a full day yesterday. I love the tree in my back yard.

'Evening! Managed a walk this afternoon and did some ub weights. Beautiful day here. Any fun plans for the weekend?

Deb, do you use a stroller with your gs or does he do some of the walking? Any plans for your anniversary this year?

Belinda, that must be beyond aggravating? How can they keep breaking? Hope you get it straightened out soon.
 
Hi,

Today was a walk outside & Perfect 30 UB Pump. We are going upstate NY, Catskills for the day & overnight but will come home Saturday for Halloween. The place we usually stay at is closed because of Halloween weekend. We are staying at another place we have stayed at before which is down the road.

Belinda - Great job with zoom dancing & Pilates back strengthening. Sorry about the retainer, maybe they will find a better solution. Good luck.

Cookie - Great getting in a walk & some UB weights. It was a beautiful day. Hoping for a repeat tomorrow;) He uses a stroller or push car but when we get to the park he rushes to get out and run. He loves all the scary decorations.

Evening,

No workout to report today. DH and I went to DD’s condo to help get it ready for next week. The painter is coming Monday. The movers came yesterday to pick up most of her stuff, except some things to stage the condo. I am glad when it’s over. DD and I really couldn’t do much today, we got our nails done, lol. My appointment with the orthopedist wasn’t until late afternoon. We had hardly any time to do anything in the condo. DH and SIL they put in a new backsplash, which turned out beautiful. DD birthday is tomorrow, we are celebrating her birthday in Georgetown. She wants to go “bummeln“ in German a little shopping, lol.

I got my lingual got repaired today. The tech used a longer wire, hopefully that will work better. In the future I know what to do in case I am on vacation and this happens. She said usually it happens for the wire to break on top not on the bottom. She used a different glue a stronger one. Fingers crossed it will last longer than a month.

Cookie - I was very aggravated last night. I just put my night retainer (Invisalign) in. That helped from the wire poking me in my mouth. Great job on your walk and weight workout.

Hi,

Today was hiking it was nice. It’s quiet here but still nice. We ate at an authentic German place. DH really enjoyed he doesn’t get it often. I enjoyed the sauerkraut & German potato salad it tastes so fresh & home made.

Belinda - It’s sounds like a nice day with your DD. I should remember your DDs birthday since it’s my Anniversary. Having a birthday on Halloween is fun! I guess GS will have a Halloween theme party every year since it is so close to Halloween. Good news about your retainer. Have fun the rest of your visit.

Cookie - Have a nice weekend.
