Today was a walk at the gym. Beautiful day in the early morning but than the rain started.

Belinda - I hope you are having a great time & dancing away:)

Cookie - Great job with bi's & tri's your arms will be sore tomorrow. It must have been a nice day for a kayak ride. I would think making something is so much harder than alterations. I'm guessing less boring though.

'Evening! Boy, today my sciatica is talking to me! All day long. Done some Essentrics but that's about it movement-wise. We have to travel to a wedding in VA later this week, and I'm already dreading the time in the car.

Deb, making something is much more fun! Wish I knew how to do alterations. We sure have had a lot of rain lately.

Belinda, the dancing queen! How are you doing? Hope you're having a blast.

Today was legs at the gym. I skipped walking too much paperwork.

Belinda - I hope all is well.

Cookie - I’m sure the long ride would bother your sciatica. Hopefully it improves a little before you leave. My basil is loving the rain. It usually dies after a month. This year the plant is the size of a small bush!

'Evening! Did a walk around an outside mall and got some steps in that way, only about a mile. So far, my leg and feet are alright but the sciatica! is definitelly still talking.

Deb, paperwork is horrible!. I swear I can clear it away but then it reproduces at night when I'm not supervising it. The bane of my existence. Can you count it as a workout?

Today was a walk at the gym & STS 2.0 Upper body 1. I filled out a bunch of applications for change of our health insurance. The good thing it was a savings.

Belinda - I hope all is well, not like you to not check-in.

Cookie - A walk outside the mall works, you also avoid the temptations LOL. Hopefully the sciatica feels better like your leg & feet. We have been moving to a paperless society, but still too much:)

Hi, sorry for not checking in. We had so many problems with the Airbnb, we left on Saturday. A hug cockroach jumped out of DD makeup remover, she almost threw out her back. The host was so rude, luckily I took pictures/videos from the condo. DD contacted the Airbnb directly with videos and texts messages from the host. DD and I checked in The Setai hotel on Miami Beach. It’s a 5 star hotel. They got us a doggy bed and toy for Sadie. I think after our experience at the Airbnb DD is done renting. You can’t beat a nice hotel. I have not worked out since last Friday. Been relaxing and enjoying my stay at the resort. I will try to take another in person dance class tomorrow. I will try to catch up on personals tomorrow.

Today was a rest day for me. DH & I had some meetings and it was very tiring. I'm looking forward to a good night sleep.

Belinda - Sorry about your Airbnb experience. I only stayed at one once, wasn't crazy about the neighborhood. The hotel sounds amazing. How sweet they gave you a doggy bed and toy for Sadie:) The rest & relaxation is so good for you.

Cookie - We are getting more rain tomorrow & over the weekend. My hair does not like it;)

Evening! Sorry missed checking in. Today we drive from NJ to VA for a wedding. Tonight was first of three celebrations and ate terrific food.

Deb, went thru two heavy rainstorms on way here and a tornado watch. Hope you weren’t impacted. Hope you enjoyed your dinner.

Belinda, whew, glad you were able to move to a much better place. It sure sounds fancy. Enjoy!
 
Good morning,

At the Airport waiting for my flight. I am going straight to the emergency room once I am landing. My right eye is so swollen I can’t hardly open it. The antibiotics cream is not helping. My left eye is doing better.

Debbie- yes, all live classes are filmed for live for the zoom online people. We can interact with each other live which is so cool. It was so nice meeting everyone in person and get to know everyone too.

Cookie - the place is fancy and beautiful. The price difference between a 5 star hotel and a Airbnb, there wasn’t much difference. Which an Airbnb you have really nothing compared to a hotel. We did needed to lift a finger, the hotel was responsive 24 hours. The place was so clean.

Today was a walk at the gym & core work. My older ds is visiting with his gf for the week. They have a wedding next weekend.

Belinda - I hope your eye feels better, good that you are going to the emergency room. That is great you were able to interact with the other live people. Safe travels.

Cookie - I forgot that you had the wedding in VA. That is unfortunate that you hit the storms on your way to VA. We had bad rain & thunderstorms last night. The center of town lost power which doesn't happen very often for them. Have fun at the wedding.

Today I walked outside. I will start Lift, Move and Restore on Monday.

Debbie - the doctor put me on antibiotic and antibiotics cream. It was so cool to get to meet everyone at the studio and hang out with the ladies. My instructor invited DD and me to her house for lunch, we had a great time to get to know each other even more. We also got to meet her husband. We also had fun shopping with the girls from the studio, lol. It was very nice to get to know them.

Cookie - sorry about the storm and horrible food. Glad you had fun at the wedding. I saw the tornado watch on my app. How long will you stay in VA? Where in VA are you?

Today was an upper body at the gym. I also ran a bunch of errands.

Belinda - It was a nice day for a walk. Hopefully you will get some relief from the antibiotics. It sounds like a fun trip, just like a RT. How nice that the instructor invited you and DD to her house for lunch:)

I did 2 hours dance workshop, the theme was country line dancing/belly dancing. So fun.

Debbie - great job with your upper body at the gym. Thank you. I hope the antibiotics kick in soon. The infection is getting out of control. Yes, it was like a dance RT, lol. My instructor is so cool. We chat a lot online over zoom after class.

'Evening! Got home tonight. It's been a long few days. A three day celebration in Fairfax. We had during the day yesterday free, so went to Mt. Vernon. Hadn't been there in years, and it was fabulous.

Deb, nice that your ds and gf are visiting. Bet they're amazing how fast your gs is growing. Glad you didn't have more damage from the storm. It was my husband's niece.

Belinda, one of the guest originally was at a air b&b, but switched to hotel b/c it wasn't a nice place and things weren't as advertised. TG you went to have your eye taken care of! Really happy you had such a nice time w/dd and the dance instructor. Sounds like you made some lovely friends.

Today was a short walk outside. We went to my Mom's to celebrate my brother's birthday. It was a nice day.

Belinda - Country Line Dancing sounds like lots of fun! Do you think she will do more of it? Many years ago we did it with a group of friends it was fun.

Cookie - It was a long wedding celebration but sounds like it was a lot of fun! It's great you had some time to visit Mt. Vernon, I've never been.

Today I did LMR Functional Upper Body plus Pilates core.

Debbie - great job on your walk outside. Yes, line dancing is a lot of fun especially if it’s fusion belly dance style. I believe she will do more in the future. I think next is 80’s disco style.

Cookie - the Airbnb was horrible. Like you said things weren't as advertised. Luckily, I took videos when we arrived right away to document everything, which helped getting most of our $$$ back. It’s said I have to go too this length.

'Evening! No workout. Had a very disappointing visit with PT and then conversation with dr. Will be doing only what PT prescribed for a while. Looking for another opinion, but getting other dr appointments take forever.

Deb, the weather here was cool today. Was it also by you? A couple of my friends were really into country line dancing about 15 years ago or so.

Belinda, glad you had such a good time. Disco belly dancing! That sounds like fun. Excellent idea to video everything right away.

Today was a walk outside & LIS Turbo barre workout. We babysat for a couple of hours and went to the park. The weather was beautiful.

Belinda - Great job with LMR Functional UB plus Pilates core. Disco style belly dancing sounds like fun! Do you think some of the reviews on Airbnb sites are fake?

Cookie - Sorry you had disappointing news with PT & Dr. It's good you are getting another opinion. It was cool here but we didn't need a jacket. Even Penne had more energy at the park because of the cooler temps.
