Commit to get Fit & Lean January 2016 - 2024

Evening,

I took all those donations to the homeless shelter in DC. I donated a porcelain doll I bought in Italy years ago. I ask my sisters if I should keep or get rid of it. They all told me to get rid of it, lol I donated the doll to the shelter. The staff are all volunteers, the lady that took all our stuff saw the fall and loved it. She said she will keep it and putt the doll on her desk. Before DH and I drove to the shelter, we cleaned out the garage. We are not done but we made progress. Got rid off a lot of stuff today. I am so glad it’s all out of my house, lol.

Debbie - great job on your walk yesterday. Glad you feel better each day.I am too exhausted to do anything today. I was trying to fill up our car.

Today was a walk outside it was humid but sunny. I was tired today but did a few things around the house.

Belinda - You did a lot today, must be a really good feeling. It's so nice the lady will keep the doll on her desk.

Today was a walk outside. It wasn’t too humid or sunny.

Debbie - I feel so much better all those things are out of the house. Now I am on the roll. DH and I want to downsize 80% until we decided to move into a smaller house. I finally got my husband onboard too. We getting a lot done. Debbie, you are a homeowner right? We will move into a smaller house in a few years, getting a head start on things, lol. My question, we can’t decide on new windows? Originally I wanted European windows, the once’s I can clean inside/out on the second floor. The windows we have I only can clean them inside. If I want to clean the outside windows, I have to get a latter. We are getting too old to climb up and down. Which windows do you have? If you don’t mind me asking.

Today was a walk outside, it was nice out.

Belinda - It was a really nice day for walking:) We have thought about downsizing but around here the homes are sold within days and they have bidding wars. So smaller/medium homes are so overpriced, if things change we will consider. I should start now too so I'm ready:) We do have European windows which you can clean from the inside (with a crank). My SIL has windows that tilt in and she loves them. I think both would be good.

Hi,

Today I got a lot of steps in the hospital while DH was in surgery. I did this evening SBF Barre, just to move my body plus get some stretching in.

Debbie - smaller homes are more expensive here too. That’s the reason we haven’t moved yet. We are thinking 5 to 6 years. I am getting a head start on downsizing, lol. Do you by chance know the name of the European window you have? In Germany we had windows that tilt too. I loved those.

Today was a walk outside & dentist appointment. It was a really nice day. It was my 1st day of driving in a week so also went to Trader Joe's.

Belinda - I wish your DH a speedy recovery. I'm sure you were able to get lots of steps at the hospital. Good work with SBF barre. The windows I have are Pella Casement Windows, we bought them over 30 years ago. I like them, not sure if there are better brands since I bought. If you want me to ask my SIL what kind of tilt windows she has, I can?

Today I did a live dance class and a walk.I will do a weight workout tomorrow.

Debbie - great job on your walk. I hope your dentist appointment went well. Glad you able to drive again. Love Trader Joe’s. We finally got one not too far. Thank you on DH. He is doing well considering he had surgery yesterday. He had double hernia surgery. It will take some time to heal. Thank you for the name of the windows. I will look into it once I get a break. Yes please, let me know the name of your SIL windows. Thanks in advance.

Today was a walk outside. I also went to lunch with my SILs and DH joined us. We try and catch up so it's a nice time.

Belinda - Great job with your dance workout & walk. Oh, I remember when I had my umbilical hernia the recovery was so painful. It did improve a lot after a week. I hope it isn't like that for your DH, my thoughts are with the both of you. I'll text my SIL tomorrow for the name of her windows.

Debbie - great job on your walk outside. How are you feeling? I had no idea you had bilateral Hernia too.He is in a lot of pain but doing well. I hope it will improve a lot by next week. Thank you for your thoughts on both of us.

Today was a walk at the gym. I also did a short walk with the dog during a brief break with the rain.

Belinda - Great job with CL #526 Pump & Sweat & SBF barre. You are keeping yourself very busy while DH rests:) My hernia was by my belly button, it was over 5 years ago. Hernia repairs are painful, hopefully your DH feels better each day. My SIL said her windows are Anderson but she thinks a lot of window companies are making the tilt because people love that style.

Today was a walk at the gym & took the dog for a short walk when the sun came out briefly. We also went to see our Grandson and had lunch with all of them.

Evening, sorry I have not checked in yesterday. My husband ended up in the ER yesterday. He ended up getting admitted to the hospital. I am not sure when he is getting home. DH had a lot of issues from the surgery. His white blood counts are very high. DH had a lot of complications from the surgery. They are keeping an eye on him. I am very exhausted. I will be back tomorrow to catch up on personals. Good night

No walk outside today. It’s raining all day long. I did a live dance workout this morning.
I should get a stretch in, I am too tired. Tomorrow I will do a weight workout.

Today was a walk outside. I also had a Dr.'s appointment and I still have restrictions on working out. I guess basically just walking for now.

Belinda - Great job with your dance workout. The raining is coming here tomorrow. It's great you can bring Sadie with you to the hospital. She gest to see so many places:)
