IMAX 2 (all 10 interval) is done! What a fun and sweaty workout:eek: Off to get cleaned up, walk the dogs. DH wants to take me to lunch:p I will be back later.

Good Morning Ladies!

Dang it's been a few days. :confused: I've moved on from STS and am now trying out the Savage Training.... yesterday I officially started Show Prep, so I'm giving their workouts a shot, even though it's really different, and it's weird not having a TV on, and just my ipod! It's weird that I watch people work out like that EVERY day, and I depend on Cathe...lol.

So I have some serious catching up to do.....

Last week wasn't such a hot week.... :( This week is much better (so far).....

Ok...for some quick personals after skimming yesterday's thread......

Amelia- Wooo hooo!!! Congrats on your job!!! Good luck today!!!

Cookie and Helene- Ok seriously ladies, lets pick a date either this month or next, lets bake some healthy treats, and that can be our ONE night to pig out and chat. Check out the thegraciouspantry.com (omg I just sneezed with coffee in my mouth), it's got great clean recipes! And there's some awesome stuff in the tosca reno too for clean desserts....whaddya say???

Lori- Yessss....finally someone to commiserate with!!! Girl I could tell you stories...LOL. It's so true too, about that first session! And omg, I"m worse in my classes. There's not ONE person in my classes that hasn't said to me they couldnt' walk for days after....LOL! I've got one girl who's my age, who's been in Sculpt for two weeks. Well now I have a Boot Camp starting on the same night in a couple of weeks right after, and she wants to do both!! :eek::eek: Ok.... I wouldnt' do both my classes...LOL. I'll tell you what....I'm finding small group is the way to go.......It wouldn't break my heart to let go of one on one altogether.....:eek:

Kristin- I love Pink too!!! I heard that song, and I was hooked! How's the smartboard? I"m still so damn intrigued by it, I might google it...LOL

Belinda: LOL, no I am not running a bed and breakfast. Can you imagine :eek:? That's what Cookie called my house with all the guests I've had :p Great job with imax2!

Amelia: Have great time at your new job!

Iris: OMG, you sneezed with coffee in your mouth :eek: Too funny! I'm good for the baking. I want to try and make cookies from the Oxygen mag. But Cookie is on a no cookie challenge..... and she proposed the 12th but you are working that day.

Another day, I guess I'll get ready for work ......

Hi all! Today is Superintendent’s Conference Day at my school, so the kids are off, but the teachers have to call in. This is supposed to be a day for staff development. However, my district wastes this day with bullcrap. Every year I go and I say to myself, I should have used a sick day. Well today I did just that and have no regrets, lol. I got to put my little guy on the bus and he was so happy to have me there. I am picking him up too and he is excited about that. Now it is just Chris and me. When Chris takes a nap, I plan on taking a free online course on how to create interactive lessons with the Smart Board. This will make my day 10 times more productive than going in for Conference Day, lol. At least I will learn something of use.

Workout plan for the day, Supersets Lower Body (3 times) premix, plus adding the floorwork and ab work from Butts and Guts. Got nice DOMS from that two weeks ago, hoping to have the same effect.

Iris- Everything Pink does is just awesome. I always liked her, but I liked her even more when she put more rock in her music. Her voice is awesome. Did you see her performance when she did Glitter in the Rain. I think it was at the Grammy awards. It was by far the best performance. The Smart Board is great, just trying how to create more advanced, interactive lessons. I am not using it to its full potential yet. Do you do fitness competitions? My friend wants me to do one with her, but I don’t know if I want to do it. Especially if money is involved, lol. With two little ones, I am really weird about “wasting” money on myself.

Belinda- IMAX 2 is just my favorite, as you know. It just gets me so pumped, and when you get to that 10th interval, you are like, “YES, I made it!” I find that IMAX 2 has made other workouts easier for me. Although, I haven’t done CCC in a while. Might have to bust that one out, lol.

Cookie- Right now, we are rationing pieces. No more than four or five a day. We have a ton of candy though. The Milky Ways are calling me all day long. No joke. I gotta get rid of it!!!! OMG- too funny about the shoes.

Amelia- how was your first day?

Helene- I know. I beat myself up over doing “normal” things like eating candy. I am finding it really hard to understand/balance. I know I have reached my goal, but I am afraid of sliding. I don’t know what I can get away with yet, I guess. I just know I never want to be where I was even before having kids.

Morning ladies,

Hope you all had a great weekend! The girls (Amaya was a vampiress and Olivia was a princess) had a great time - who wouldn't with all that candy around:confused:. We only stayed out for about an hour because it is really starting to get chilly. I started M2 yesterday. I have decent DOMs in my chest and shoulder, but not much happening with my triceps. Today was iClimb 9, 40 mins on the elliptical. I got back on my knee supplements and that is helping as well. Looking forward to D14 Legs tomorrow:cool:.

Belinda - I had a few bite size snickers over the weekend from the girls stash. They taste so good. Glad DH only bought bubble gum to give out otherwise I would be going through it like crazy! Happy belated birthday! Aaawwww, have a great time with DH.


Iris - WHAT?? You are ditching STS?? LOL!! I don't blame you. I think this is the first time I will actually complete the whole thing. Although, it's still too early to say, but I'm giving it a go. I really enjoyed M1 once I got into it. So....tell me about the savage training. Is it similar to any of Cathe's series?

Lori - So how many ladies are you training now? Wish I could find the time to read my ACE books, but can't add another thing anywhere. Ok, that's not true. On my train rides in to work I could probably do it, but those books are big and HEAVY and, plus I'm trying to finish off Harry Potter before the movie comes out. I'm a big HP fan;).

Amelia - Good luck on starting the new job today! I wonder if you will be exhausted after 10 hrs:eek:. So, what time do you go in? Where will you fit your work outs? So much to juggle, right? I designed my new schedule at work to fit around my workouts! LOL! Are you starting a challenge?? Fill me in!

Helene - My computer is a PITA!! It's actually my firm's computer. I haven't owned a computer in years - and it's a good thing...the rate that i get viruses, I probably would owe somebody a fortune in fixing them. If they can't scrub it clean, I will ask for an upgrade. Another perk of not owning one. The girls are still pretty busy with activities - music, swim, dance & theater - all on Saturday. Liv also takes tae kwon do on Thursdays. I've already decided not to re-enroll Amaya in theater in January and we will take a break from swimming Jan & Feb so things will slow down. Nice cal burn on your wo yesterday! What's on tap for today?

Kristin - ^5 on playing hookey from work! Sounds like you have a great day planned! My BFF are on a no-wasting money challenge. We are not buying any clothes, jewelry or accessories for ourselves for an entire year!! We are one month in and it feels great not to be wasting money on unnecessary things.

Deb - The spa weekend sounds awesome. I've always wanted to do one of those. Would be a great girlfriend weekend! Glad things are going well with DS.

Cookie - I am trying to get on the wagon, too. I have slowly fallen off and it's not good! My days are great, but then the nights are a wreck. I'm trying to manage my cals to allow for a little bit of snacking until I get a grip on it. With your work schedule I wouldn't have an ounce of willpower. Is it just a busier time of year or is the norm? Hope the cold hits the road soon:confused:

Melissa - What are you up to? Did you start M2 yesterday?

Hi girls,

I didn't get in a workout this morning:( hopefully some cardio after work. DH & I have to go to a meeting tonght with DS so hopefully it won't run too late.

What was up with Halloween:confused: so I have like 14 bags of candy left. We usually get about 200 kids maybe 75 this year. Towards the end of the night I was so tempted to give out whole bags:eek: I guess they will be going to work with DH:)

Belinda - Any plans as to how you will use the new workouts?

Iris - Are you still cooking meals from Clean Eating? Will check out that website.

Kristin - Your not supposed to work on your day off;)

Helene - You could run a bed & breakfast and have a room for guests to join you for Cathe workouts;)

Melissa - Are you feeling better since your party?

Trish - It must have been really cold Halloween night because so many Trick or Treaters were complaining and you know how kids are they usually don't complain.

Amelia - Good luck with your job. It will be hard to get used to at 1st but after awhile you'll get the swing of things. I think 3 days on and 3 days off sounds interesting.

Lori - How often are you training clients?

Cookie - Too funny about the shoes. One time I had mine on the wrong feet but realized after 10 minutes. I guess you dress in the dark too:D

Hi ladies!

No WO for me yesterday because I was up at school registering for next semester!!!! :eek: That just solidified that this is actually happening and I can't believe it. I felt so out of place though because I was sitting around with a bunch of kids and their parents! Then when I went in the advisor was like "Congratulations on graduating high school!" I'm like "I graduated 10 years ago." She goes "WOAH." LOL!! It took forever to get everything situated so I wasn't done until 8. The schedule isn't that great but I at least have off Mondays & Fridays.

Tonight I'm doing 30/30, intervals 6-10 from IMAX 3, and maybe some abs before bed.

Belinda, great job on getting IMAX 2 done!

Iris, welcome back! How is the show prep going? How long do you have to train?

Amelia, good luck on the new job that is awesome!!!!!! Let us know how it goes!!

Helene, UGH you know what?! The case got dismissed so she is done with jury duty! She did throw a jab at me too and said "Well <b>I </b>was smart enough to get off" and I'm like no you didn't you idiot, they closed the damn case!!!! I can't stand her.

Trish, I'm starting M2 tomorrow. I'm doing the rotation w/ Shock Cardio so I guess Cathe mixed it up and does cardio days 1st then STS days? It threw me off a little! ;) Are you doing the squat rack or the plyos for M3? I still haven't decided. I don't have a squat rack but I do have a weighted vest I can use, just not sure how effective that is.

Kristin, enjoy your day! My mom always says the same thing about meetings. I don't get why they make you guys sit through that. I LOVE that new Pink song! Her music is so much fun and I agree w/ the rock thing.

Deb, everyone is saying the same thing: not too many kids came by for Halloween this year. Maybe less people spent the money on costumes? I don't know.

well, all the newbies at work got off early today...it was fun. One thing is for sure, im going to work my hinny off so i can get my foot in the door at this place;) My trainer was a temp for two years and she just became an employee a month ago...so there is hope:D

Anyways, No workout to report..yet. Not sure if i will get one in today or not.

ok, gotta go...DH & the kids are waiting on me..we have a few errands to run then were going out to dinner with his parents. I have already looked up the calories on the online info:D yay...on track yesterday and today...now i just have to finish up the week:p

oh and that new ticker is a little thanksgiving challenge i have going on...i hope im still holding onto water weight....(lol)
 
Just finished my workout: 30/30 and IMAX 3 Intervals 6-10 DONE! Now let's see if I actually get some abs in before bed ;)
