Commit to get fit & lean for Nov 1, 2010

Good morning,

Today I will do Hiit 40/20 + abs and Chest/triceps:D As you can see, I dipped into the candy bowl yesterday. Need to do some damage control today.

Hardly any kids showed up, that was the weirdest Halloween ever:eek: not sure, where all the kids went (we live on a military base). I told DH we will sent all the leftover candy down range to the soldiers:p I only had like 5 pieces of candy yesterday, had a sugar rush from hell:confused:

Thanks for the b-day wishes yesterday. My neiphew b-day was yesterday as well. My sis invited us for lunch, after lunch we went on an hour long hike and that in high heals:p:eek: my feet were killing me by the time we went down hills:confused: Everyone else had compfy shoes on, except me:confused: LOL! Before we left our house, I also walked my dogs for 30 min. I did get a lot of walking in yesterday.

Off to get busy! I will be back and catch up on personals!

Good Morning.....Ugh!;)

I will pretend I am happy to be awake....mind over matter! Its only 5:30, been up since 4:30 and its pointless to go back to bed. I have to meet someone at 6:30 for a workout so I would only get another few mins of sleep. Its to bad this flight wasn't just arriving and I didn't wake up until 5...I could probably push through my day then. DS has preschool after lunch so I would imagine that while he is there I will be curling up with a blanket and having a nap!!!

Belinda** That's funny about the walk in the shoes! LOL I am guessing you didn't know you were going for a little hike? I ate quit a few peices of candy last night. I don't think we had as many kids last night either. I bought more stuff, just in case, and now I am left with a big pile of it. It may not be a good combo today with me tired and lots of candy sitting around:confused: I may be looking for a quick fix by 10 a.m!

Belinda, how are the feet feeling today? On Friday we had to get up really early and since my meeting went til after midnite, I didn't have much sleep at all. Walking around I'm noticing that it seemed I was limping. Said to dh, I think these shoes are of two different heights, and he just laughed. That afternoon I looked down and realize they are two different shoes! I say it was lack of sleep, my dh says too many shoes. Would you mind pming me the rotation also? I'm on week 2 of meso 3, so I'll already trying to figure out what to do next.
Lori, good arm wo carrying your little one around on Friday. How were the omelets? My dd thinks bacon should be its own food group and included in just about everything.
Amelia, glad things are okay with the job. What are your hours? How as trick or treating?
Deb, glad things are going so well with your ds and that you had a chance to get away and relax. You sure needed it. I'm such a bad stress eater, you know how I would be handling everything.
Melissa, did you get all those red velvet balls made? We didn't get any trick or treaters, only have had two - siblings- in the past 15 years! My dh still buys lots of candy tho just in case. Loving the karma.
Trish, that ol' wagon is coming around for me today. I'm feeling so miserable with a wicked cold that I need to do something so I feel in control. Back to no cookies. Actually, had to pause to be sure I could do it before I put it in writing. Those long weeks are wearing down my willpower and I think weakened my resistance to germs. Did your girls go out yesterday?
Helene, how's everything with your bed and breakfast? Did you take your darlings out? Back on your no cookie challenge, and am going to make up a countdown sheet til Jan. 1. Thanks again for that idea.
Iris, how are you doing? You must be sleeping really well at night since you are so busy.
Kristin, middle school is an interesting place isn't it? One minute they act like kindergarteners adn the next, ? What do you do with all the candy your kids get? Mine used to staple their bags up so my dh couldn't get in them.
I think I gain with sts, cause I got on the scale this morning and wasn't happy at all. I need to drink more water with this cold but maybe it will help flush out some weight also. This weekend had a wake, funeral, dinner with friends, hair appt, and then got absolutely whalloped by this cold. Think I'm taking today as a rest day.

Alright.....I have been up for 4 hours already!:p I don't feel to to bad. I can tell by my eyes though that I will be tired later. My right eye looks smaller then my left when I am sleepy! I know...I'm weird!

Session went pretty good today. I keep forgetting that not everyone is coordinated or strong. Lots to improve on which excites me but I am trying to figure out the best way to go about it. The first session always makes me realize where that person is in all aspects.

DS is still asleep and I already have tons of things done around the house. I may get my workout in soon. He might sleep for another hour yet.

Cookie** DH thinks that bacon and bologna should be its own food group. I like bacon but I think bologna and wieners are gross. Not the taste as much as what the ingredients are. I don't like left over parts! LOL Sorry to hear the scale isn't telling you what you want. I remember when slow and heavy first came out and alot of people said that they gained weight when lifting heavy....that was all I needed to hear. Barely touched the set!!!

Just a quick check in, I am done with Hiit 40/20 plus chest & tricpes. I started week 6 of this rotation. Two more weeks to go! I pulled a muscle in my biceps or shoulder, can't pin point it really:confused: I will take a mucle relaxer today and see if it helps. I will post my workout later. Still have to work my abs.

Drive by check in for me today. ugh, ate so much delicious crap, I am embarassed, lol. To top it off, I never got a workout in. Today I have been eating fairly clean, with the exception of one piece of candy. I also just finished BM2 Cardio and Weights premix.

Hey girls, quick check in for me too! Today I did Cardio and weights and was shaking though-out the entire workout:confused: But I got it all in!

I got a call today to start that temp job tomorrow so im pretty excited about that:eek: Its a 1st shift position (10hrs a day, 3days off) and i will get home just in time for DH to leave for his night job.

Im kinda nervous because i haven't worked a full time job in a very long time:eek: im sure once i get use to it i will be fine. :)

Amelia: Awesome on the job. And that you can do it over 4 days is great too! I think I will join you on the Thanksgiving challenge.

Belinda: LOL at waking in your heels. :eek: I hope your feet recovered. How about the strain you felt. Is it better now?

Cookie: The bed and breakfast is going full swing. The in-laws are leaving tomorrow but they will be back in a couple of weeks. But they are really good and very helpful. It's just that I'd like my house back just for a little bit. But really, you would love my guests. Awesome going back on the cookie challenge. I saw a healthy cookie recipe in oxygen that I want to try.

Kristin: All right, what's done is done. I hope the candy was good. :p But it sounds like you can eat candy now that you have reached a good fitness level. :)

Deb: Ahhh, your three days at the spa sounded so nice. You certainly deserved it. I am glad that things are working out. So now you have to prepare for Thanksgiving right.

Iris: Hope all is well with you.

Lori: I am still laughing about DS sleeping with all these poohs. I had Iron Man trick-o-treatin' with Jasmin. Quite a sight. I hope you are asleep and resting at this very moment :)

Trish: Bummer about the computer. You have frequent computer trouble :confused: At least you have your iphone. So what activities are the little ones doing? We are playing soccer and have swim lessons on Saturdays now.

I did a Back and Bicep workout tonight and 4DS LIS cardio only premix. It was nice and draining. 589 calories so that's good. :)
