Good morning,

I am not sure if I will work out today, I am so beat! I am so tired of not sleeping at night, I don't know what's going on:eek: If I do decited to work out today, I only will do shoulders! That's it!

So nice to be off! I am not tied to that stupid phone for the next three days:D. Not that its real hard work or it rings very often:p

I'm not sure what today's workout will be. Should probably do something good considering the amount of food and drinks I may partake in tonight. We are also invited to my running partners house for dinner:) So we will go there first and then to the New Years celebrations. I weighed today and still holding at 120.6. Can't believe I haven't went back up with all the eating and drinking.

Yesterday's workout was CM 2 and while I was doing it I felt like I was wasting my time b/c I wasn't feeling anything. That one really creeps in! Last night before I went to bed I could feel the DOMS in my abs.

I had a surprise phone call yesterday when I was at work. It was another lady (my friends aunt that was suppose to start training ages ago) and she wants to start on Sunday....4 times a week. This worked out ok b/c she doesn't go to work until 10 so when I finish training at 6:30, I can go right to her house for 7:30. Also, one of my baby group friends backed out b/c she has something going on right now. Im excited! I am going to schedule these workouts alot better then I use to and I am also going to make sure I go to bed early enough most nights! Anyway....Sunday should be a busy day cause everyone wants to get back at it!

Belinda** I wonder why you aren't sleeping? That's a rare occasion for me. I usually sleep quit well. Do you take a nap at all?

Sorry for being mia but I have been overwhelmed with kids, visitors, and then got whalloped with sickness. Of course, just as I'm starting to feel like I'm among the living, I realize how much I didn't get done over the break and am worried about getting ready for work next week. Then yesterday a friend called to say her dad died and could I assist her by making food for incoming out of town relatives. To get an idea how out of it I've been, I got an ipad for Christmas and didn't even take it out of the box til last night!
Belinda, when I was doing sts and insanity last year it also really affected my sleeping, which is bad anyway. I think the two together take a toll on the body and it thinks it is overtraining. Believe it or not, one of the symptons of it is lack of sleep.
Amelia, I'm taking a tip from you and making a challenge for myself til Val Day - track food and wo 4-5 times per week. The wo isn't so much a challenge, but logging sure is.
Lori, glad you got the coffee maker. Is it the one that uses those little pods?
Melissa, bet it felt good to give notice. Have a yellow tail sipping planned for this evening myself.
Kristin, did your kids like yogi? I started rereading Harry Potter while lying around. Enjoy the new dvds.
Deb, how your dh back doing? What's the tonique wo? I'm looking for a new one to motivate me. However, our tax bill arrived yesterday, so I make only be looking... Was looking at booty barre something or another.
Helene, did you go away? Hope you had a great holiday.
Heidi, how's your weather down there? Right now, the temp is 25 - heat wave compared to what it has been. Might put a massage on my list of goals for 2011.

Debating whether I'm up to a wo today or not; might do lbb. Last wk my youngest ds wanted to try a Cathe wt wo, so asked me to do one with him. I wanted to slay him with a plyo legs but my dh suggested pyramid. We did pub, and he caved. Was showing off wts he could do but couldn't keep up with the reps. Gave up when we started bi. Gained new respect for middle-aged women. He wants to do one of her ab wo sometime - I'm gonna suggest wts and plates.

Morning

No workout yesterday, well, i did get in 20mins of 4ds KB before my calf muscle starting aching so I stopped :mad: I may have to see a doctor about it...its becoming a PITA!;)
Today i plan on doing high reps then jumping on the treadmill for a power walk, the only cardio that doesn't upset my calf.
No plans tonight, DH will be off work and the kids are home so were going to stay in tonight! Im tired anyway...hardly got any sleep last night, its my own fault, I stayed up and read until 2am:eek:

Belinda-maybe its time to see a doctor about the insomnia? I have trouble sleeping too, sometimes I take OTC sleeping aids at night:eek: Mostly its herbs like Melatonin or Valerian root. Those seem to help. Hope you get some sleep tonight...hugs.

Cookie-I'm sorry you have been so busy lately, this time of year is crazy. Great NY's resolution! We can do it...Valentines day will be here before we know it.

Lori-WTG on the new client and keeping that scale down...you go girl.

Just finished Intensity and I actually made it all the way through this time!! I think this one might be worse than CCC. It's like MIC on crack!! My legs are so fried but it was a fun WO. Planning on some Pilates-based abs after work.

I'm back. I drove all the way to my tasting to find out it had to be canceled cuz the store didn't have the product in stock!! GRRR... oh well. I just finished Pilates-based abs. Oh yeah and last night, big shock, I didn't WO :eek:

Heidi, nice WO! Oooh a massage sounds so good! I've never gotten a professional one. I think I actually have a coupon for one :D

Kristin, well get this; my manager at the hole wanted to keep it under wraps that I was leaving, so tell me how everyone and their mother knew by yesterday afternoon??? I kept hearing the same thing: get out while you can, this place sucks, you're lucky you are getting out. It's really sad cuz it seems like everyone feels the same way I did but no one tries to leave. I don't get it :confused: I will def let you know if I decide on SB! And then you can get 1st crack at my liquor stash ;)

Belinda, sorry to hear you're still not sleeping well :( Did you cut down on the WOs?

Lori, great job at maintaining! I wish I could say the same; I gained 2 pounds this month from all the eating and drinking I did :mad: Could be worse I guess. Oh well after this weekend it's no-nonsense clean eating again! Wow, you are getting a lot of clients! Do you train them all at home?

Cookie, welcome back! Weights & Plates is a toughie...those damn plates kill. After STS, I have never looked at a paper plate the same way again.

Amelia, we are staying in tonight too. Mark is working late and I just have no desire to go out and do stuff lol. I did enough running around before Christmas, so I am welcoming a slow night! We also are going to a concert & a launch party 2morrow night in the city so I don't want to be too hungover for that ;)

Well, I did Intensity, almost the whole thing, lol. My goal was to do the whole thing, but after the step routine I was like, give me the Low Impact Hiit. So I ended up doing the step and lo hiit premix. What a tough workout. I was winded. Cannot wait to do it again ;). I also did med ball abs from STS abs circuits. I am so excited to stat STS on Monday. I finished the rest of my 1 rm testing today as well, yay!
