COMMIT TO GET FIT & LEAN FOR DEC 29, 2010

Good Morning!

Quick checkin....still need to catch up on personals:eek:. We went to a house party last night and we didn't get home until 3'ish...and I have to work today:confused:. I am going to be soooo sleepy later! So of course there is no workout to report today! Maybe later though...I will see what time I get home.

Yesterday's workout was MMA boxing and DWP. It was a good workout, glad I did both. My UB is majorily fried from that workout though. I always wrap ankle weights around my hands b/c I don't have weighted gloves. I think my back is the most sore and I didn't even feel my back while doing it! LOL I felt my bics during the first punching section though.

I don't know if I told you guys but my new plan for the NY is to get in wicked shape...LOL. I told DH my plan and he was confused....Im guessing he already thinks I am in awesome shape. Or maybe its the fact that he is getting skinner by the minute and he doesn't want me to have anymore muscle definition. So I guess my over all goal would be to weigh about the same, get leaner but with more muscle. In my arms, legs and abs. I am guessing the first thing that will have to go is the sweets, so I will have to have a super clean diet. Anyway...that's my plan so now I need to figure out a "plan" LOL

Hallo girls,

I am done with my cardio workout & weight workout! I decited to do legs today, not sure if and how long the gym will be open on Friday. I know for sure, they are closed on Saturday, I still wonna get my leg workout in this week:eek: Tomorrow, my DS/DD wanna go snowbording again.I hope I get Insanity in tomorrow before we leave?

Lori - maybe you can get a nap in later?

Ameila** I didn't know you had a brother...you only talk about your sister...LOL. There are 4 of us in our family. Have you finished work yet?

Melissa** I need to order Intensity again. I gave it to my sister for christmas and she probably hasn't even tried it yet:mad::D

Kristin** Everything seems to be the same with me but I do have the cold...and no doubt its from running around non stop a month prior to christmas. When I went to my moms all I did was eat cookies:confused: And now DH wants to have more drinks tonight with picky food! Why can't he just leave me alone!;)

O.k..is that it? Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays. I can't believe its almost time to ring in a new year!

Good Morning

Today will be a power walk on the treadmill followed by some yoga. And thats it.

I peeked at the scale this morning and I'm down 5lbs since my last weigh in on Sunday...so that's pretty good. Stinking water weight. I have been eating pretty clean all week. I still have 3more lbs of water weight left:eek: DH is talking about going out to dinner Friday night since he will be off for new years...i don't care for it. I'm all my water weight will be gone by then and I don't want to put anymore on, Ugh. Dieting sucks:p But the ultimate goal is SO WORTH IT!

Lori-Im sure you will succeed in anything you put your mind too girl, good luck with your new plan. Yeah, there are 4 of us all together, i have a younger sister and two older brothers:) About work, i got laid off on the 20th...so i will be looking for a job as soon as the kids go back to school next week. I'm already missing the extra money.

Belinda-Nice workout...how did the snowboarding go? Sounds fun!

Happy to report I just finished PLB. My legs are wobbly now. I am a little ticked b/c I ordered a few new dvds and the ups tracking said they were to be delivered today. i saw teh truck pull up but not deliver my goodies. then I got an email alert saying tehy would be delivered tomorrow due to weather conditions. Ugh. Now I am thinking, my DH did not plow the front walkway (our driveway is in the back. So did the UPS guy not deliver it b/c it was not plowed? he could have come through the back. That is where they normally deliver items anyway.

Amelia- I say go out to dinner with your DH. Water weight, schmater weight. Start again after New year's or order something that is tasty and healthy ;)

Lori- MMA Boxing is one of the dvds I ordered. Cannot wait to try it. i have eaten pretty clean (with the exception of my Godiva chocolates that DH gave me for Christmas) today and yesterday. Again, I am just going to try my best, but after New year's I'll really go back to the good, clean eating. you just cannot avoid all the good stuff this time of year. Frankly, who wants to? you gotta live a little. I say, so long as we keep up with our workouts, we're good ;)

Belinda- WTG on your workout. Hope you are enjoying your last holidays in Germany.

Hi ladies!

Just finished STS disc 31 and abs from PUB. My abs are SORE! Those pikes are killers.

Guess what else I did today?? I gave my notice at the hole!!! Supposedly they "had a feeling" because my "morale was visibly low." WHATEVER! I have to laugh too because it doesn't sound like they are planning to hire anyone new to replace me; they are dividing and dumping my work onto other people. This is the way of the hole. I also have to laugh cuz one of the girls who is taking on most of my stuff had a mental breakdown today...and she just started!! She said it's too much for one person. Poor thing has no clue what she is in for. God, I feel so relieved!!

Kristin, I feel you on pushing to WO. I just don't feel like doing it but once I'm done I feel great. My eating has been horrible too. Too many cookies and sweets laying around...I can't say no!!! I'm scared to see what the scale says Friday morning :eek: What DVDs did you get besides Intensity and MMA Boxing (both excellent choices, btw)?

Lori, I am with you on the NY plan! I need to calm down on the sweets. They are making me flabby!!!!

Belinda, great WO today! You should def try snowboarding. It gets your legs/core really good!!

Amelia, awesome job on losing those 5 pounds!! I agree with you about dieting...what a drag! I hate it, but you are right the end results are worth it. I agree with Kristin though: go out and enjoy dinner, then worry about it when 2011 rolls around ;)
