COMMIT TO GET FIT & LEAN FOR DEC 28, 2010

Good morning all. I am sorry I have not been aorund lately. Yesterday was the first day I did a workout since being sick last Wednesday. I did LIC Cardio Blast. I am also doing my 1 RM testing. When you guys did this 1 RM testing, did you count that as your lifting workout? I did testing for Discs 1-3 on Sunday, and I was sore. Then I did testing for discs 4-6 yesterday after LIC. I want to continue with 7-10. I am hoping to get it done by next week because I want to start STS on Monday. How long did it take? How many of you did the 1 RM testing at all? My younest son is sick with a low grade fever and a wicked cough. I am hoping I do not have to take him tot he doctor today. It is wicked cold out and still pretty windy, plus the roads are a huge mess.

Belinda- snowboarding sounds like so much fun. I have never done it, but always wanted to. Have you cut back to one workout a day? Is it making a difference?

Okay, I will bbl with a workout to report and hopefully I can catch up on personals.

Good Morning!:)

I too have been MIA lately:eek: Hoping that the new year will bring me more time to check in but that's highly unlikely considering that I have taken on more people. It will be nice to actually put my extra cash to good use now instead of spending it on Christmas!
Now we are faced with the decision of going away this year. The plan was to go to Fl for 2 weeks but after DH met with his accountant he took on some new rolls. He is starting to realize more and more how many people have stole from him over the years and how he needs to be more hands on. So he pretty much took over all cash responsibilities and doesn't care to leave it in anyone else's hands.

I am at my parents house now. We drove here yesterday and will go back later today. My mom is cooking turkey and some of my aunts are coming. I did bring a couple of workout dvds:D I gonna do MMA boxing and I brought HIIT just in case I want to do more. I probably should do more considering the amount of cookies I ate yesterday! The way I have been feeling lately I will probably be content with doing just the boxing.

Kristin** I didn't do 1RM although I wish I had. I do believe its time consuming but I am sure its worth it. I need to come up with a new rotation for the ny!

Hey girls, quick check in here...I've got a dirty kitchen and were dropping the kids off at my brothers house for a few hours while they go and see Yogi Bear

Finished 4ds/HIS + C&B about an hour ago. I feel great and was pleased at myself for getting it all in and i was able to do most of the push-ups on my toes...a first for me in a while!

Hi ladies! I have off from the hole today but I am doing a champagne tasting from 4-7. They gave me 2 bottles so hopefully I will only have to use 1 and I can keep the other for New Year's Eve ;)

Mark got me Intensity for Christmas; I tried it out this morning and HOLY CRAP! It's tough. My legs were not cool with it today for some reason so I had to give up 25 min into it. I did the bootcamp cardio premix from 4DS to make up for the last 30 mins. I will give Intensity a go again later this week. Maybe I was just having an off day? :confused:

Belinda, I loooooooove snowboarding!! Are you going to snowboard with DD/DS? Have a great time!

Kristin, I used the 1RM as my weight workout. I printed all the exercises out and split them up to hit a couple body parts each day. I didn't do them by disc because some exercises repeat themselves and I just wanted to get it over with. It took me about 2 weeks (I think??) to finish them all.

Lori, WOW @ people stealing from your hubby! That is horrible. Same thing happened with my dad and his business, and the guy who was stealing from him was like family to us! People are sick.

Amelia, awesome job on the pushups!!!

Just got done with MMA Kickbox. I didn't feel like working out today, but I am glad I did. Lately I am just forcing myself to workout. Maybe from all the running around this month and then getting sick. . . i don't know. My eating has been horrendous at this point, but I figure I might as well just get back to clean eating after New Year's, right? anyone else doing the same?

Melissa- I just ordered Intensity today. Now I am scared, lol. I am up to Disc 10 for 1 RM. my arms are sore from this testing. Tomorrow, I will just do the rest of leg testing, which is not much, because I am skipping hte 2 and 1 star exercises.

Amelia- WTG on 4ds HIS today. That one is my favorite out of the series, I think. Nice job on the push ups too! did the kids like Yogi Bear?

Lori- That is just crazy about people stealing from your husband. You really cannot trust anyone. I hope you guys still pick out a nice vacation. This time of year I always fantasize about someplace warm and tropical.
