Hi guys. How's everyone doing today? It was a busy and crazy weekend, let me tell you. DS had a blast at his birthday party. It was a lot of fun. They played dodgeball, kickball and even a bit of wiffleball. A few of the parents wanted to book their kids' birthday parties there, so my friend (the owner) was very thankful to me for having the party. She gave me a whole bunch of free sessions.
My sister and her husband showed up about 45 minutes late and left really early. I could not care less though. They are idiots. My BIL walked right past me and did not even say hello. My friend asked who he was, and when I told her she just said, "rude." Yea, in a nutshell rude is the right word, lol. Who cares, right?
Anyway, DS had some friend's come over after the party. They played on the trampoline, wiffleball in the backyard and then video games. We let them stay until after some wrestling thing on t.v., which was around 10. Then we went to bed, exhausted. Yesterday was an unexpected rest day. My brother came over with his fiancée to wish DS a happy birthday. They went to the store to get DS an Xbox, his birthday present. Then they had dinner here. When they left, I was too tired to workout. I have been working out 6 days a week for weeks now, I figured I should just listen to my body.
Today I started week 4 of meso 1, with D10, chest, shoulders and biceps. My whole upper body is feeling it, especially shoulders and biceps. Should get some nice DOMS. I may go for a bike ride or walk later, not sure.
Melissa- good for you for contacting that guy to see what's what. I think it's cute that you were both interested but not sure how the other felt and so backed off. That's crazy about the dog. I didn't know dogs could get MRSA and pass it on to humans too, crazy. Have fun with D1 today! All those push ups are waiting for you
Belinda- I hate bug spray too, especially how it feels on my skin and how it smells. LI seems to have a lot of mosqitos this year, even more than I remember last summer, so I have sucked it up and spray it on if I am out after 5. I have citronella candles too, and DH bought this spray for the backyard that kills all bugs, that he sprays once every two or three weeks. It helps. Woo hoo, you are on week 2 of STS!
Deb- too bad the instructor can't charge you for each class. How much is the monthly membership at her other gym? I too need to start practicing cooking "ahead" and freezing it for later, especially when school starts.
Amelia- powerwalking with high humidity makes for a good sweat
Waving hi to Cookie.
