COMMIT TO GET FIT & LEAN FOR APRIL 1, 2011

Good Morning:)

I didn't get a chance to check in yesterday. To hectic and throw that 3 hour appt in on top of everything else....it wasn't as bad as we thought it was gonna be though. The interview was 86 questions long....and I guess it could have been longer, depending on if you answered yes or no to any of the questions. The dr was so nice and that made it easier. Psychologist are usually wack themselves...but this guy seemed normal! So we have to take DS next Fri for his assessment. If they think he has issues they will tell us then. But they also said that it may never be pinpointed, if he has a delay, they may not know why or what's causing it. We would just have to start working with him.

Yesterday I managed to get out for a 10 km run and that was it. On wed I did GS Back,Bics and Tris, then 4DS shoul, a 4 mile run and then bike.

I went to bed early with hopes of getting a good workout in. I am going to do a run, abs and legs. I have almost 2 hours to do all of this. I may not get a full leg workout in but even the standing work in one of the dvds is ok with me.

Good Morning Ladies

Yesterday ended up being a rest day....I had a real spread out day at the gym, and plus the double workouts the day before. :confused:
Going to give 40/20 a shot, plus Triceps (probably GS), and some core work this morning.

What happened to all that snow we were supposed to get?? Right now, just wet out!

Belinda- Have a great workout!

Lori- You're right psychiatrists usually are off themselves...lol. Wow...86 questions??? Hope you get your whole workout in!

Kristin- Wow...wtg on STS! Cant' believe you're almost done already! So? What'd you think?

Amelia- What shop did you go to?

Deb- Wow, I can't believe the wait on the spinning classes!! What's up with that?? *sigh* @ another D biting the dust....it's gotta be me! lol

Good morning all! I can't believe it's snowing right now. April fools?! And I have been SO bad with checking in. My schedule has been hectic lately!

Today is STS biceps & back, abs, and maybe some kind of cardio. I wanted to run but it looks like that won't happen with the weather :confused: I took 2 rest days this week cuz I was exhausted. I lost 2 pounds though so I'm not too worried. I guess I will just have to go balls-out today, tomorrow, and Sunday!

Lori, it sounds like you guys are on a roll with finding out about DS. I hope all goes well. LOL, I thought the same thing about psychologists! Glad yours in normal ;)

Iris, no snow for you either? I thought you guys would get hit w it! Wait I missed when you got back with DB! Aaaaah I missed so much!!!! It's good you guys ended on a positive note though. I have some man drama too but I will PM you about it...we all know what happened last time :eek:

Kristin, so how does it feel to be done with STS?? I will prob follow you on the 4DS idea; I miss those WO's!

Amelia, what did you get shopping?! I love a good sale! I will def keep you posted on the Warrior Dash. I'm so excited! They prob have something similar to it near you. no? There are so many of these things, I had no clue!

Deb, that sucks about your spin class. Did you wind up doing Cathe?

Doing better everyday. I'm starting to think that playing games on my new phone is keeping me away from the forums . LOL
More snow up here, but at least it is not sticking.

Maybe a small workout tonight is back feels ok. Something low key for sure.
 
Workout done! I did STS Disc 21, abs & stretch from BM2, and did 3.5 miles on the trail. My time went down by 3min from Monday's run so I guess that's a start? I think I'm gonna work on endurance first and then focus on the speed/time.
 
Hey guys

Today was CLX Push Circuit 1. My inner thighs were so sore and tight...i can handle most doms but inner thigh doms really suck:p after clx i wanted to do a cathe step dvd but only did about 30seconds of Athletic Step before stopping and giving up...I've got the bitchy blahs today. TOM is very close. My eating yesterday was horrendous due to cravings. Today im on track and drinking a lot of water. Stinkin' monthly hormones:mad:

I've been off work since Tuesday and im losing my mind:eek:. Tomorrow I go back to work and work until tuesday. Can't wait to go back to work tomorrow...how on earth did I sit around the house everyday while the kids were little? I really hate it....gosh im so bored:eek: I get sick of cleaning...lol

anyways, yesterday the store I was referring too was a consignment shop. They were having a 50% off sale and had to go see what was there. When I got there it was packed. I couldn't even find a place to park. Most of the kids clothes were already picked through but I did manage to find some summer tops and shorts , a pair of jeans for me and some shorts for DH. I only spent 21$ :D Next time I will get there when they open:confused:

Melissa: if you really want to improve your running make sure to do the hiit workouts and especially 40/20. I don't run much but used to. I was floored how much better my running was from doing the Hiits!

Iris: sorry I forgot to answer. Tomorrow evening is fine! But I have no idea yet what DH has planned for tomorrow.

I ended up taking a yoga class today, the new instructor is my next door neighbor's daughter, she's good too! Saving Cathe for tomorrow. I've been down today since DH is driving me crazy:(

No snow here either just rain:)
