Commit to Get Fit and Lean-Wednesday 6/2

Good Morning Girls!:)

O.k....so apparently there is a thing called "after marathon blues" and I had it yesterday. It can go on for a few days or a couple of weeks but I feel o.k today. I was just so blah yesterday. I didn't really care to talk to anyone and boy...did DS put me through the ringer. I wasn't sure if it was him or me...but I think it was him. Right from the time he got up. If he didn't get his own way he would hit me and he wanted his way alot yesterday, which meant lots of hits for me and lots of time outs for him. That with the lack of sleep could have been why I was feeling the way I was feeling. Hopefully today will be a better day. I am going to work so I won't be home to get bullied by my 3 yr old.

So today is day 3 of my rest. Not sure how many I am going to take. My BIL is telling me I need a week of rest. I could probably manage but you all know thats gonna be tough for me. But at the same time I am sure my body needs and deserves it. It will be easy to take rest the next 2 days b/c I am working but I may doing something on Fri or Sat. I bought 4 new workouts yesterday. One of them I picked up at walmart yesterday, it was Jari Loves ripped 1000. And I ordered 3 from collage.

Today is cardio...I'm thinking a run today and good stretch. I didn't sleep well last night. :confused: And I have a double today, I know it's going to be slowwwww because it's so nice out and there's no good racing today. It will give me plenty of time to get my thoughts together for the rest of this week and everything going on.

Cookie- Nice job on ME. Of all the Meso's, Meso 3 is the most "boring" I'd say (even though I'm seeing the most results...lol), so I'm looking forward to going back to some of her other weight work! And yes.....a new "D"......DC to be exact...LOL I hope you get through your long day ok. :confused: So how's it looking for you next friday? ( I think it's the 11th or 12th?) I think we were going to try and get together then......

Trish- I do drink the fat free!! And I like it! It's the Sugar-Free that's nasty, to me. I won't touch that stuff. Great workout yesterday! Good luck with your dietician today ;) I know how hard it is to keep on trying to overcome (at least partially) an addiction.

Amelia- I'm with ya on the low end pulses....they're almost as bad as the Braves....BOOOOO! :p I've been living in Aloe Vera! I am one big Aloe Vera bottle.....lol I dont' like throwing away food either! It's probably why once in awhile I really forget about it, shove it back there, and then it starts growing its own colony....LOL

Morning

Today is a KPC premix, the intermediate drills + combo's 1,2 then core. Should put me at around 50mins so then i will do some A.M yoga w/Rodney for 20mins...

Doing good on my calorie counting this week...the scale isn't budging though...damn't!

Yesterday i decided on MM timesaver...i can feel it this morning,ouch! My inner thighs,glutes, rear delts and calves are all sore:confused:

Lori-I hope you have a better day today. Nice workouts, let us know how you like them!

Iris-Speaking of the Braves...there first right now in there division,YAY(so there:p) hehehe. Were going to try and get to the ball park the next time there in town. Enjoy your workout today, LOL at you being a big Aloe Vera Bottle...i hope its easing some of the ache.

Helene-Nice job on your STS workout !

Morning Ladies,

I'm uploading some data to a vendor so rather than watch the progress ticker, I thought I'd check in:) Did ME today even though my energy is a little low. Got a good burn in the chest, tris and glutes. Can't wait to see what's aching tomorrow;)

Iris - I never tried the FF flavored creamer, just the plain...hhhmmm, I'll have to give it a try. I have had the sugar free flavored and that is NASTY! When will you start working at the gym? Do you think your sleep was affected because you were thinking about your new gig? Things like that always kill my sleep.

Lori - Is this the first time you ever got the blues after a race? Glad today is a better day for you. Work will probably be a good distraction as well. I have that Jari Love (but have yet to try it). Let me know how you like it.

Helene - Nice wo today!

Amelia - Nice DOMs!! Sounds like MM got you good;) WTG on your managing your calories, too.

Cookie - I forgot about all the leg presses in ME! YIKES:eek:! Reminded me of a B&G premix. On sunday I felt very panicked about my eating and today, not so much. I'm listening to a few podcasts to see if there is anything that will help me to stay more balanced. This past year has been more of a struggle then any other time I can remember (although I don't know why!). For now, I'm taking it one day at a time;)

Funny story:

Yesterday I went to the gym to do Kickbox class (disclaimer sometimes I am 5minutes late) but at this gym people sometimes walk in 20 min late. So I went to the back of the room where nobody was and within the next 15 min. 3 people walked in after 20 min. this woman walks in and stands directly in front of me so I left the class because I couldn't see or move at this point:( I run into the fitness coordinator she's really nice and she says just walk to the front of the class and offers to take me:eek: I decide to just go home and do Cathe kickboxing class.

So today I take the fitness coordinator's spin class and she tells me 2 weeks ago she had to break up a fist fight because someone wouldn't move from the spot she was standing in because it was "her" spot:)

Belinda - I'm glad your feeling better and out of the hospital:) Did you like DC?

Lori - My DH runs so I told him your time and he says wow that's a great time for a chic:) DS said that was around the time his cross country coach came in for the NY marathon. I wonder if DS is mad that you left for the weekend & was acting out. They don't realize how much we need time to ourselves:D I have the Jari (which doesn't seem hard but always gives me DOMS), Squeeze it's different but I really like it and I have Amy's but haven't tried it yet, don't have Gin's.

Trish - Great job getting ME in, I dread the leg presses but they are so effective:)

Cookie - Wow, a paid internship for DS and now you can sleep better since he is in the states:) Seems like ME is the workout to do:)

Iris - That gym prospect sounds very interesting. Any chance of you keeping your current job and trying it out? I think starting in a new gym may be the perfect way to go, no competition from other trainers.

Helene - Great job getting legs in today:) Some of my inlaws ended up having the stomach bug on Tuesday . . . hopefully they didn't pass there germs.

Amelia - Great job with MM and DOMs too! It's call the pilates portable bar by Danskin and has 2 rubber tubes on both sides of the bar where you put your feet in and hold the bar while doing pilates and comes with a Gin Miller instructional DVD. It was fun and I did get DOMS so I will reach for it again. At some point I may need heavier tubing.
