Good Morning!

I am sleepy today and my neck is sore!:eek: I don't know why my neck is so stiff!:mad:

Just as DH and I fell asleep last night the phone rang. My MIL is away for a couple of days and she owns her own business. One of the guys that works for her had a heart attack and his GF had to call DH. I knew there was something wrong but for some reason,(b/c I was half asleep)I thought it was his sister....who I knew was still on a plane on her way to FL. DH got up and went to the hospital b/c he thought that she might be by herself. This is the same girl who ate mcd's for weeks straight and now as a bad back and is off of work....I don't suppose its due to her weight gain?:rolleyes: She told me the last time I seen her that she wanted to know what my motivation was so I think when I see her again I will tell her "this should be your motivation". He is a smaller guy but he doesn't eat healthy and he smokes. As if last night he was o.k. I am guessing she would have called if he had another heart attack.

So....I am sure the broken sleep will catch up to me at some point today. My workout will be just cardio and abs. I did PUB and boy that one sneaks up on ya! Everything is sore in my UB today!

Helene** Yes i will have to wear the charm...I just need the chain, thats all. I was thinking the other day about how I don't have to carry DS around anymore. I kind of miss it. Sometimes I do b/c its faster....like today when I have to go to work! They are so sweet and grow up to fast.

Deb** DWP stands for double wave pyramid. I think it is probably by least fav of the HIIT workouts. I don't like repeating stuff and I hate tuck jumps and air jacks!

Lori: You and me both, I hope lack of sleep doesn't catch up today. But yeah they are so sweet at this age. DD is so happy when she sees me lately. I love it! Yikes about the girl and her BF. That's one healthy pair!

I'm caught up from last night, so I'm all caught up :D So hello to everyone else!

OK, so the meeting lasted until 11:30 last night. I'm still tired from the weekend too. Will have to function properly throughout the day. Wish me luck :eek:
 
Good Morning Ladies

Today will be squat rack legs. I've made the decision to stick with Squat Rack the rest of the rotation. I'll try Plyo out on some other rotation. I previewed it a couple of days ago, and maybe I think it scared me because I'm still congested!! lol

So no DG last night.....smart guy. I'm not even mad anymore, I was never really mad, I just don't want to put up with his s**t and I just want it to end. He can take his misery and find someone else! Why didn't he just do that the first 10 times I told him to find someone else?? There's a lot of unsuspecting women out there that would jump to be in my shoes!

So I was planning on taking the exam for this 2nd cert at the beginning of June, but now I'm thinking next weekend! I've gotten more reading done and am now almost done ( a lot is review anyways....just explained differently), and then I can look around for this internship and get the ball rolling!

Lori-I look around at people now, and am so shocked at the amount of people that dont' even ATTEMPT to take care of themselves. The abuse from smoking, drinking, food, inactivity. I don't judge, I just don't understand. So many diseases can be prevented, so much life can be lived just from making small changes. But to each their own! Are you doing a workout today?? Maybe you slept wrong on your neck. I have my A.C.E certification (which is a national cert), and that was one big test, and I had a bunch of study materials. Once I made the decision to do it, it took me 4 months (and that was because I set a date from the get go!) There were 4 modules that I could review for online (for a price, of course), and those helped with the exam! This certification I'm workign on now (I'd say is more local, out of NYC) was a weekend hands on class. And I thought the same thing!! How much am I going to learn?? What I didn't know was that there was going to be yet another exam AND a required internship (which is awesome, I can't wait). So maybe look into those 3 weekends of classes, there might be more to it than you think!! And not only that, just to have a live class with a live person teaching, it's just so much different.

Deb- Nice workout yesterday!! Right now there are 3 of us going down.....well Im going "down", they're traveling "up"...lol I think one girl is from Jersey, and I know the other is from Connecticut. Wanna go??

Amelia- So have you heard anything yet?? Did you get your walk in?

Helene- I'm sorry you can't come, but I had to throw it out there! ;) No DA was a one time thing (not like that...LOL). He was just the cute boy in my class....lol So you had a nice weekend?? I made a recipe from your cookbook, the Couscous, Quinoa, and Cranberries......it is very good!! I can't believe your meeting went until 11:30!! Who meets that late at night?? Who CARES that late at night??? :eek::eek:

Ok ladies off to workout and laundry, then I'm making a Honey Balsamic Chicken to go with the dish I made yesterday from Helene's cookbook, have an appointment with my mom at 3:40 (late today), have go back to their house and have the dinner I prepared for us, because then I have to jet off to rehearsal. And then??? The Biggest Loser...Final Four! (amelia...are you excited??). Ok BBL!
 
Ok so its 11:45 and I am eating a bag of skittles:confused: Probably not the best idea I have ever had but its the best idea I have had today:p

I went outside for a run today. I wasn't really in the mood to do anything to tell you the truth but I knew that if I did nothing I would be dragging my a$$ all day. So I did abs and a 9km run outside. The weather wasn't the best but it was better then getting on my TM again!

Helene** One unhealthy pair is right! Geez! I was lying in bed thinking....imagine being so hard on your body that you heart is exploding. That's pretty much what it boils down to.

Iris** I think a internship is a awesome idea! I think we learn more hands on then we ever would from a book and our brains digest it easier. I am learning medical terminology now and there is ALOT of it so I have been just doing a little bit each day to see if I can remember it all. I know as soon as I put the book down I will have it forgot and Im pretty sure I won't be diagnosing people with disorders!

Good morning girls,

I'm waiting for a big shipment to arrive at my stores so I can go and put the merchandise out hopefully it will be tomorrow. Today is BBL cardio axe & bum, bum and a bunch of errands. The weather is rainy & cool so I would rather crawl under the covers or be at work:)

Lori - The worst part about heart attacks is some people think their arteries are cleared out so they can go back to the bad habits:confused:

Helene- I'm surprised you didn't fall asleep in that meeting;) Holding a toddler and walking is a workout.

Iris - You may have to set DG up to get rid of him for good:eek: I may consider meeting you guys at Cathe's as it gets closer I'll see what my work schedule is:) For me it's about a 2 hour drive.

It's so quiet around here. I ended up doing Cathe's TM Pyramid Up workout that she posted in the OD. At 1st I thought it was a TM w/o combined with the Pyramid DVD like Lori does, but it was a TM w/o with increasing speed (pyramiding up). I needed to start at 4.5 instead of 5.5 like Cathe suggests:eek: I'm going to add Bum, Bum later when I find some energy or if;)
